It's the Target I most often shop when in Richmond. It's outside the city in Midlothian. Parking has not been an issue at their massive surface lot. The area was clear of debris. The store is kept pretty tidy and organized. I cannot say that about all Targets anymore. Staff was in the area if questions were needed which I had none. The lack of service is evidenced by the self checkouts which are 90% it seems. I will be honest, I don't like them. I did have a staff check me out on my most recent which I appreciated. Bottomline I like Targets wide selections, goods and prices. They have a few areas that annoys me, but they are better than the alternative. 3.5 rounding up. read more

I came in here to return a Christmas gift, the two cashiers at the customer service desk were so nice and friendly. Of course I had to walk around the whole store buying things I didn't need. I don't have a single complaint. I ordered some things online & picked them up curbside. It was a seamless process & the associate who brought my items out was very friendly. I didn't go inside at all, so I can't speak to that. The prices were ok for what I purchased & everything was ready within the 2 hour timeframe, unlike Beat Buy. I originally ordered a tv from there that was supposed to be ready within an hour. After 3 hours, still no change in my order status. So, I cancelled with them and ordered with Target. I will definitely shop here again. read more

How can you not love Target? We've never had it so good when it comes to national chains and departments stores as we do since Target hit the Richmond area a couple decades ago. Shop online and pick up in store or get free shipping and 5% off using your RedCard. Employees tend to be pleasant and courteous if not downright friendly. As much as I love Target, my experience today shopping at Target was extremely disappointing! From the overwhelming smell of vomit in the Starbucks cafe area to the lack of organization and the extreme clutter throughout the store, I'm not sure if I can tolerate another shopping trip here! These pictures were taken at 3:00 in the afternoon - not like it was right at opening or closing hours, so this clutter was a huge deterrent in enjoying shopping at the store today. Not to mention on top of the clutter, they seemed to be out of a lot of products we were in search of. Not sure if we could've found what we were wanting in those random carts and boxes, but that just meant less money that Target got out of my mom and I today. They wouldn't accept a return for a vinyl record I purchased the day before. It was completely damaged out of the packaging. They wouldn't even offer store credit or let me speak to a manager. I called customer relations and got a full refund. This Target is terrible. read more

However, the holes for the screws didn't line up, the screwdriver couldn't fit, & once we got to the last screw it didn't even have a cut-out to be able to screw it in...? Check your receipts before you leave seasonal help tend to mess up like they did for me. They rang up four different items twice so I had to return to get my refunds. They have me $12 worth of gift cards to try to make up for it. I am a regular shopper here this is irritating to have to deal with. read more

I have been in town a week, and have been in this store at least 3 times already - checking for Plus sizes bathing suits - there are none, or none of the "team members" I asked knew the right answer. I looked in the front, with all the misses bathing suits, and went to the back of the store to the Plus section, and there were none! They show available on line, but how can you sell a bathing suit if I can't even see it for size?? Other than that, I wanted to exchange an item at the Customer Service desk, and no one was interested to assist me. There were three "team members" who all looked at me like I was crazy! It is in the middle of everything else that you may be doing in the area so it makes it easy to pop in and pop out of. This is a very large target bit not a Super Target. It has everything you could ever need. I would suggest getting an automatic payment machine or a self service machine for non-return issues, it would speed up the guest services area that is right at the front of the store. read more

Based on today's visit, I don't know if I'll ever order pictures with them again. The attitude for asking for a receipt and for my order was ridiculous. I'd love to say this was a one time deal, but it's happened several times at the photo/customer service desk. For various reasons. Nothing out of the ordinary and nothing too stressful. I'm sorry I asked you to do your job. The customer service in general at this target needs a makeover and the chick behind the photo booth today seems like she might need an enema. No wonder Target is losing millions if you're going to find crap customer service acceptable. Shuffling stuff and slamming things down when I asked to be rang up (cause there was nobody behind me) at the customer service desk as we paid for our pictures and literally 3 items? Come on man.... Grow up. Normally, I don't really have an issue with the store, it's run of the mill... But EVERY time I'm at the customer service desk, it's always dramatic and I have to interrupt some riviting convo about personal stuff that doesn't need to be talked about in public. Two stars only because the store is reasonably stocked and clean. That's the only complements I can give this store. We'll see how my next few trips go. This Target was refurbished/expanded in the past year. They have a nice selection and decent sales. The best thing @ this store is that they regularly have MULTIPLE checkout aisles open at busy times - I HATE when stores only have like 1 or 2 aisles open. This is a pretty big Target! It's very similar to the one at Westchester Commons. However, the parking lot at this location is much smaller than the one at Westchester Commons. A lot of people shop at this Target, and it can get crowded at times. There's a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut inside. Overall, its pretty clean and tidy. Definitely one of the best Targets in the Richmond area. read more

I stopped by for medical supplies on my way to a doctor's visit. Saw 1 guy on registers as I walked by to pharmacy. Found my humidifier, went back to registers, now none manned, called out for clerk as I was in a hurry, had a target cash card to use and didn't want to mess with self check. Jason (same guy) approached and talked to me like a kindergarten kid "We're self checking today". Can't you just check me out? "I'll walk you through it." The text your're reading cannot possibly convey how condescending this clerk was as he "walked" me through self check, using the card, and paying the balance. He saw me struggle with fiitting a humidifier in a small bag, offered a large bag OVER AT THE REAL REGISTERS and never bothered to go get it. I probably lost 3 minutes extra in a empty store due to his procedures and mouth. I called target inc and asked to talk to a regional/area manager to no reply. That's my last dollar here! read more

Rude pharmacy worker. Yesterday I asked for help finding an eye ointment and she looked over at the row and then said that CVS does not stock the eye drop OTC shelves but that Target does. Sorry. I asked whether she could check the inventory list to see whether they even carry it. Sorry. Only Customer Service can do that. As I headed out to customer service she said "you're welcome" as though I had forgotten to thank her. No, sorry, actually she had forgotten to help me. Customer Service at first told me another store carried it but it turns out that the other "store" is Target.com. I needed it last night. I think the pharmacy workers need training in how stressed their customers may be. There are people there getting routine and inconsequential meds, but there are many many others who may be dealing with extreme issues. I do not have time for your snark and you need to be trained to keep it to yourself. read more
