I'm walking into this store for the first time in many years. The first thing that catches my eye? A sushi restaurant! It looks great and the rolls being made, appear tasty and authentic. If no other reason I suggest you roll over here for that. This was one of the first supper stores built in the area, around 18 years ago. The experience was terrible. Let me start by saying I was bringing a recently putchased battery that I had recently acquired from this Walmart ( Coit Road in Plano, Texas). I was told by two independent shops that the battery I received from them was not good and not holding a full charge. I personally knew this because it was died on me on several occasion and would not fully and ultimately keep a charge. after doing their testing for an hour and a half they came back to me and said that is "passed" and accepted a charge. Unfortunately, when I looked at the record, I noticed that the final amp voltage after charged was not indicating a fully charged battery. When I explain this to the shop supervisor, Jerry, he became very defensive and said he basically the difference between a fully charged battery and what it was reading, was nominal and he could not do anything because of store policy. His recommendation was potentially to another Walmart to see if I could get a replacement beautiful! Basically, if it passed their test, they cannot replace it Even though it was under warranty. We went at it got and got a bit testy. Jerry finally called his manager who simply reinforced store policy. Weak. I took the battery and Jerry's name. when we were done, I asked Jerry to buzz the door of the exit of automotive center (where customers enter and exit) so I could leave as my car was parked right around the corner in the lot.....He told me to "go around" the store and exit that way. I said why will you not allow me, like any other customer, to exit this door? He said I was no longer a customer and told me to go around the entire store. hopefully. his management will look at the type of guy he is. SEVERAL other customers that were witnessing this and commented as I was leaving that they supported my position and was appalled at Jerry's behavior. I plan on following up with the store manager, but please stay away from Automotive Center. Dishonest,They don't honor their warranties, and have terrible customer service skills. read more

Walked in to purchase room paint. After 10 minutes of trying to look for an employee, I found one. Employee seemed like a lead or a manager and walked over to the paint department with me. He glanced at the paint machine and said their paint machine was down. He didn't even try to turn it on and there was no sign "Out of Order". Pure LAZINESS is what I call this. If the machine is down, they need to have a sign that reads "out of order", So people are not wasting their time. read more

I visit here hunting for a couple of souvenir items and holiday earrings. My son is a collector of lanyards, so I was looking for schools and teams. That's near the area like Dallas Cowboys. Then I also came to visit to see their Halloween earring selection to my surprise this Walmart location had zero teams or school lanyards. One thing I did admired about this location was they had a lot of employees and they were at registers. It was way more registers that was available to assist with guest then at any other Walmart I have ever seen if this Walmart was in my neighborhood I would probably more likely visit Walmart. read more

Super disappointed with my shopping experience today! The electric toothbrushes are locked up. So I was forced to wait for an associate. It was super uncomfortable having her stand right next to me watching as I'm trying to select the toothbrush I wanted to purchase. I'm a person who likes to compare products side by side , read the info on the box etc. I couldn't help but feel rushed with her right beside me. To add insult to injusto she proceeds to tell me I'll have to purchase the toothbrush now or leave it with her and come back when I'm ready to check out. I request to speak with a manager. Brandon comes to help 10 minutes later and he explains the policy is to help with theft. Walmart, this "policy" completely disrupts the shopping experience for the customer. What if I change my mind on the product? Is the company considering handicapped or disabled people with the "policy?" When I'm finished shopping I'm forced to walk all the way back to this section of the store, passing the SELF check out registers just to go back to the registers and check the rest of my items out. Walmart at 1700 Dallas Parkway in Plano Texas refused to accept a ceiling fan bought at Walmart online (and returned new in original packaging with Receipt on Jan 23, 2024) because their 'Facebook Marketplace Printer' was down. (the fan was brown, it was ordered as black). The Store Manager noted that Walmart uses a "3rd party" to handle returns and that is 'Facebook Marketplace'. Since their FBM printer was broken, they are refusing all online returns until it can be repaired. Our response was that we had nothing to do with their back-office operations and our business transaction was directly with WalMart who processed our Credit Card and has a stated policy on returns, under which we were compliant. We were told to go to another WalMart, but our schedule was already shot due to the long exchange with why they would not honor their return policy. Walmart has been pushing to compete with companies like Amazon but their "3rd party handling of returns" is huge miss in meeting the standards of truly scaled online providers. Our view is that they should process the return with the customer as promised under their policy and process the back office return to their third party when they fix their equipment. The 'Delay and Deny' approach did not smell right. We gave them a try at the online business and they have failed, so we will not run any more online transaction activity through Walmart and advise other readers to be aware that their returns are handled by a completely different company, and a broken process. read more

I had a disappointing experience at the Walmart Tire Center. I dropped off my car at 9:00 AM and never received any notification that it was ready for pickup. When I called to check, I encountered some of the rudest and most unprofessional staff I've ever dealt with. Upon making the payment, I was told they don't accept Apple Pay--which is understandable, as not every business adopts the latest technology. However, the way the staff communicated this made me feel as though I was asking for something outrageous. Their tone and attitude were completely unacceptable. Additionally, it was extremely difficult to communicate with most of the staff, as it seemed like 90% of them did not speak English proficiently. This made an already frustrating situation even worse. Walmart really needs to address the lack of professionalism and communication skills at this location. I have been going to this store occasionally since it was built. I do like the fact that the store offers so many products. However, I was not happy when I asked an employee a question at the check out counter, and she replied that she did not speak English. Walmart, what is the deal? I believe that all employees should speak at least some English in order to help the customers. This is a "sorry" situation, and there is no excuse for it. I was visiting this amazing Walmart today and was really tired . I had my cell phone + money in my back pocket to buy groceries.I forgot about the money when I pulled out my cell phone out to pay for my meds . By the time I went to a register to pay for my groceries the money must have fallen out . I panicked of course . So I saw an attendant and signaled for him to assist me. I told him the situation and he was so patient and calm for a young person to help me delete some of my items so I can afford some of my items . Afterwards he went and got his managers to help me find my money . I thought it would have been a lost cause . But thank you Ivan and the pharmacy department who found my money and returned it . Thanks to you also Walmart managers who were right there to bring it back and thanks also for the young man who helped me unload my groceries into my car. This Walmart used to be amazing and I would drive too it, even the there is one closer to my house. Now, it's a complete dump! There were several dirty diapers and liquor bottles on my way from car to the entrance. That should have been my sign to just get in my car and leave. People leave their carts wherever, because the racks are super far away and already full of carts. I saw several carts that had rolled into cars. Inside is filthy, the floors were wait everywhere and trash on the ground. Most of the employees are pushing around giant carts, online shopping maybe, but they were rude enough to bump into my cart multiple times. Im not sure if they turn their power off at night, or had an outage, but all the items I saw in the frozen section were soaking wet (like they were no longer frozen and they were just refreezing everything). Out of the 20 things on my list, they had ten items in stock. The ten items were all 50 cents to a $1.50 more then they are at Kroger, currently. And of course, they only have self check out open. I get self check out being a good option at certain times, but when you've got people in line with 50-100 items trying to check themselves out on a busy Friday afternoon, it gets absurd. I only went today, because I was out of shampoo and Kroger doesn't have what I like. Walmart normally does, but they were out. We will never be back. This is the trashiest store I've been to in a minute. The Walmart on Marsh and Frankfort has always been bad, but even it's better then this Plano location now. Didn't want to give even one star !!! Did small pickup order today between 6-7pm, have been at hospital with loved one the last 3 days and in no mood to go shopping. I waited for a half hour for my order, only 4 cars waiting when I pulled up in the rain. Two young guys delivering orders together to cars for some reason , one wearing sunglasses in the pouring rain ??? A car pulled up about 15 mins after me and got his items delivered before I did !!! I pulled my car up to the door got a grocery cart and retrieved my order , a young guy inside did scan my barcode to show had been picked up. I live in OK, but, often in Plano area because of family. It's crazy during times like these that a $328 billion company like Walmart cannot train and/or hire PROFESSIONAL DEPARTMENT MANAGERS. Yes, I said DEPARTMENT MANAGERS. Their third party key service wasn't working at the front so Stefany, a manager told me to go to Auto section as they can make keys back there. I go back there and the DEPARTMENT MANAGER, Ariel, says, "We not making no damn keys! That ain't essential." Now first of all, she didn't even speak to me, rather her team member while I was right next to him. SO unprofessional and definitely shouldn't have a title as manager with the lack of professionalism in verbiage, tone and customer service in general. I highly recommend you do not give your business to this specific location as chances are, you won't be helped and will have a terrible experience. Overall, wow... Walmart needs some help. I used this pharmacy for years. Recently, it has been terrible - I moved all of my prescriptions.

There is a lot of trash at the entrance, cart returns are full in the parking lot, never unlocks the doors right at 6 AM, cashiers always send me to customer service to check out with tax exempt card. The crosswalks were filled with ice last winter and felt like a skating rink. Loss prevention officer told me that management was aware of it but did not want to do anything to remove or shovel or put down salt on the ice. Called and filed a complaint with upper management. UPDATE: I talked with Tracy the new GM. He states he is new to this store as of 6 months ago and is trying to make improvements. Says he has had staffing issues but has hired more staff now and will train them on how to do tax exempt at the registers. Look forward to seeing what the future holds for us shoppers. But he refused to identify the trash in the parking lot and entrances so who knows. But he did say to feel free to call him in the future if I see any other issues for him to fix. read more

I live a few minutes from the Walmart on Monfort, but sometimes I drive to this one. This Walmart is much nicer than the one on Montfort and they have a better selection of items. They have a huge wine selection. Their wine section is 4 to 5 rows. They also have a better selection in food items from boxed meals to soups. They also have a great beauty section with so many products to choose from. It's a little further, but worth the drive. read more

I'm at my local Walmart Supercenter, standing in line at the service center, very disappointed. There was only one associate behind the counter when I arrived. There was such a long line (of course), so I got out of the line to get a manager. She took her time getting to the service center. When the manager finally arrived, her head was faced down looking at her phone. I had to tap her on the shoulder to get her attention and confirm she was the manager I asked for. I tried to express my concerns about the long line, but she passed by me dismissively. She did get on one of the registers to help elevate the long line. This is the single most disorganized Walmart I've ever been to. I waited 30+ minutes for some member of management to find the ammo case keys. Then I was only allotted two boxes even though there are zero signs about this anywhere in the store. I was told by a very rude lady that "it's Walmart policy " when I asked to be shown the policy she could not show it to me. I then asked for the GM's name and no one seemed to know. Out of 8 people I asked I was given 3 names and only at customer service did I find out that there is a new manager who is starting today. Then no one knew the district managers name or contact information. Finally after just over 20 minutes a member of management was able to give me their name but not the number. She explained I had to call that store to speak with them but I could not speak with them right then. This is absurd on so many levels! Puzzled as to what was going on, I quickly learned that the customer service agent would not accept returns that were purchased at other Walmart stores. She claims that every Walmart carries different items. As we all no this is not accurate, I must assume that she does not want returns listed under her employee number. This Walmart is filthy! I don't have high expectations when visiting Walmart's and often times expect a mess because of high traffic. But this is DISGUSTINGLY dirty! I'm afraid to even drive in the parking lot with the high amount of trash over taking the parking area. Now onto the actual store. You have a good selection of items. Grocery (prior to Covid-19) was hit and miss you have better selections at other Walmart's compared to here. Let's talk employees. Talk about ATTITUDES!!!!! Get over yourself! You have a few sweet and helpful workers, some are grumpy but then some are plain rude!!! We had one worker that stands out. We went in and did a quick grocery run. We ONLY had two cases of water. Customers ahead of us had 3. They had no issues. Once it was our turn to check out the cashier told us we couldnt have two waters..mind you the customers ahead of us had THREE!! He ya led the case of water out of my arms and started getting argumentative. I pointed out there was no sign on the back, he told me it didn't matter. I pointed out the customers he checked out before us, that also was different. I then pointed out EVERY customer walking out with their shopping carts with multiple cases of water. He still told me, it didn't matter. I wasn't letting go of the water and still had a grip on it. He was doing his best to ya k it from my arms. I finally yelled for a manager and he let go. No manager came over, he was a pompous ass. I get if we were buying more than two cases of water. I would understand if there was a limit. But there wasn't and again we ONLY HAD TWO CASES!!! If you put your morals aside and shop a wal mart, this is the one to go to. I'm able to go in, get my groceries and ammo, and get out of there within half an hour. At other wal marts, I'm easily spending 30 minutes just in line- 40 check out lines, with only 2 actually working. This location has more than 2 open usually so things flow very well. This one stays pretty clean, rarely do you see a mess. I once saw a busted fruit cup once. Pretty traumatizing. There's also beer and wine. I have seen many a lady with two bottles of yellow tail and a romance novel in their cart. Fun times ahead! (Call me) If an employee tries to convince you to use a self-checkout, DON'T. It always takes me longer to go through there than it would to just go through a traditional check out line. Something always messes up and requires an employee to come by and bypass the warning with a 45 digit code and eye scanner. Not my idea of efficient. They do a pretty good job at keeping the shopping carts in order. Unfortunately, you get a lot of lazy people who just leave their carts around (i'm looking at you), but they usually wrangle them up quickly. Shoppers also tend to go the wrong way down the parking lot aisles. Its not that hard people, This wal mart is also conveniently across the street from a target supercenter so if you can't find it here, you can jump across the street. You can also go to the other side of the Tollway to costco to pick up your 10gal tub of mayo. read more

This review is for the online grocery ordering and pickup service. I love shopping, especially grocery shopping and I have been a fan of Walmart since I was a kid. But now that I'm a busy professional adult, I have limited time to go to Walmart, wait in long lines, and end up with a cart full of things I didn't intend to buy. Enter the new online grocery ordering and pickup! You just go to grocery.walmart.com, select a pickup time and day (I suggest you do this first and I believe you need to schedule at least 24 hours in advance), search for the things you need from the comfort of your own home, and pay for your items. It was so nice to be able to check my house for the things I was running low on. You can also add items to your online shopping cart throughout the week as you're populating your shopping list. I placed my order on Thursday night and scheduled a Friday afternoon pickup. About 15 minutes before my time slot I received a call letting me know my order was ready. When I arrived in the pickup lot, I called the store to let them know I was there and a nice young lady brought the groceries to my car. It took less than 15 minutes. Walmart was only out of stock on 1 item that I ordered and I wasn't charged for it. When you are checking out online you have the option to allow substitutes for items that may be out of stock, but this was one item I didn't want substituted. I should note that I do not buy produce or meat from Walmart, but I did buy eggs and some refrigerated items and they were just fine. I really appreciate this new option from Walmart. When I grocery shop I usually go to about 4 different stores and this is just one less place that I have to spend a bunch of time in looking for items. Oh, did I mention that this service is FREE?! This is great for busy professionals and families, or just people who hate grocery shopping. By the way, it's not just for food, you order pretty much anything they sell at Walmart. I give this service 4 stars instead of 5 because I actually don't live in Plano and Walmart does not offer this service in Dallas! They seem to have limited all the locations to the suburbs! That makes sense since there are more busy families, but don't forget about us busy city dwellers! read more
