I decided to place a Walmart Express one-hour delivery order because, of course, I somehow managed to run out of diapers. LOL! Mom life really keeps you on your toes. I also noticed that Walmart now offers Subway delivery through the app, so naturally I added a sandwich for myself because if I'm ordering diapers, I might as well make sure I'm fed too! Everything arrived in less than 30 minutes, which was AMAZING, especially considering I was on a bit of a diaper emergency. LOL. All of my items were correct, packaged really well, and nothing was missing or damaged. The driver was also super nice and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I honestly never have issues when ordering from this Walmart. They consistently get my orders right, everything is handled with care, and the delivery is always so convenient. This is definitely my preferred Walmart location for deliveries, and they continue to make my life just a little easier! I ordered 4 new tires with installation and was notified by email 3 of the 4 tires arrived. Their website is a continual loop of no updates. When I went into the store to speak with an associate, they all act like they dont give a damn. They keep referring to their IPAD and wont physically check to see if everything is there. Rude, lousy, lazy and unprofessional employees. Almost all of them wear their name tag backwards, so you can't see their name and report them. Good luck asking for help. It takes forever and then you get sighs, eye rolls and grunts. We are the customers, buying the products that keep this store open for them to have a job. Some of the online order pickers have on several occasions, just grabbed stuff off the shelf right in front of me. No excuse or pardon me. If they are stocking shelves and you need something in that area, it doesn't matter if you say excuse me because you'll still get the silent treatment and eye rolls. By far the worst location I've been to... just consistently bad... Regularly has lots of trash / broken glass in the parking lot, many of their carts have broken wheels and aren't repaired or taken out of service so they get piled up near the entrance and you have to dig through broken carts to find one that is usable. Inside the store is far from what I would consider cleanly, staff seems to have been provided little to no training in what could be considered helpful / friendly customer service, and the door greeters have been consistently rude / aggressive in demanding your receipt to check your cart / bags of paid items while leaving. Always a treat coming here (sarcasm). I try not to complain about stores because we really are running out of physical storefronts to enjoy so some of the inconveniences I encounter here, I just sweep under the rug but my most current visit here upset me a little bit. I was here around 5pm on a Friday so not the most ideal time to go but I was prepared to stand in long lines because I already knew. Anyway, after I was done shopping, I got in line at a register and was standing there for about 10 minutes before the cashier turned off her light so I figured she would just take the people who were already in her line before she turned off the light. I was in line for at least another 10 minutes after the light was turned off. As I got closer and it was almost my turn to put items on the conveyer belt, she has the customers in front of me tell me her light is off. Mind you, there was another person behind me who was also in line before she turned her light off who thought the same thing as me. When I told her I was in line before she turned the light off, she shrugged her shoulders with an attitude. She could have turned off her light and announced that she was not servicing anyone else past whatever customer she was going to finish her shift with. Communication is not that hard. It would have saved me 20+ minutes. I guess customer service skills just aren't taught and/or learned anymore. read more

From walking in to walking out no one in that building who are employed to be there knew what customer service, or professionalism is. Workers were cussing, talking shit about the job, other coworkers, scheduling etc etc. when checking out, we were being helped out by the cashier and someone who was above her. When we kept having issues with the POS both were rude with their responses. Walmart already has a bad rep. But this location takes the cake. I am a regular customer for mostly online. I usually order from grocery sometimes walmart.com. I spend at minimum $1,000 a month. Lately I have noticed that they will cancel my online grocery order. Then after a few days I check to make sure they credit the amount back. They DON'T. so then I have to call a call center. I also have noticed they remove items from my receipts. Then I also have to check and make sure they took it off changing my total they had ALREADY took. I go to the store and they have the item they said they didn't have. I use my phone scanner to price items because nothing is ever where it SHOULD be so that always makes the prices more at the register. I live right by this particular Walmart on 35th and Southern and I do not understand why they are NEVER fully stocked no matter what time of day it is. I have gone to the Walmart on 75th and Lower Buckeye and each time the shelves are always stocked their registers are always working and there is never a long wait time to get checked out whether it is through self-checkout or the regular line. These two stores are in the Phoenix/Tolleson location, but the store at 35th and Southern always looks run-down and ghetto which is NOT how it should be looking. The self-checkout lines, those registers are never working and if so, three out of the 10 works which means that we are being FORCED TO WAIT IN LINE for over 25 minutes. You cannot put this on the renovations that are being done at the store because it was this way before that. I just do not think that it is right or fair that the store at 35th and Southern is becoming a total dump, but you expect for us to have an enjoyable shopping experience. read more

No crowd control and never enough decent carts. I don't understand why it's so difficult to maintain their carts, probably a solid 60% of their carts are dysfunctional and of the 40% that's decent... good luck finding one that's clean. It wouldn't be that way if the associates in charge of the carts actually did their job instead of sitting around the brick wall on the southeast side of the building... no, they're not on their breaks, they are just poorly managed. They went from being open 24 hours to closing at midnight and since the pandemic.. they now close at 8:30. But no matter what time of day you go, the aisles are cluttered with pallets of inventory that needs to be stocked and associates crowding the aisles trying to stock it all. I can't count the number of times I've been almost hit with a pallet jack or flying empty carton box because associates are too lazy to (walk) the empty boxes back to the pallets. The parking lot is a disaster. Trash and pan handlers everywhere. There's a security guard that drives up and down the aisles of spaces but I've never actually seen them do anything. As far stock goes, they've usually had the things I've needed. It's just frustrating that I have to dig it out of wrapped pallets rather than just getting it off a shelf. read more

I went to thiS Walmart around 7pm 2/9/2020. I just wanted yarn to complete my blanket. My husband was with me and he always stops in the toy section looking for collectibles. In the isle with transformers we found four packages of stolen toys. I went to the electronic department waited in line to request a member of management. Let's just say 45 minutes later still no manager after seven over head pages. I even stopped another worker to see if she could call on her inner store communication device. Nothing happened so I took the empty toy packages to customer service . The young lady paged over head for assistance. I stepped forward looKing for anyone that looked like they were responding to her overhead page still nothing . Worse service ever!! Went to go in buy one bottle of booze and a knee brace for my wife. They (I guess) recently locked their hard liquor. However, they don't have anybody around to help you. Only a button you push for "quick assist" which is only able to be opened by a manager. I got to Walmart at 2:00PM for two things and been out of there in 10/20 minutes. However, I waited for 45+ minutes for a manager to eventually come by and open the door for me and someone else. We both pushed the "assist" button at least a dozen times. FINALLY I got fed up and from the liquor department called the store and talked to a manager about opening the case. Another 15+ minutes later someone FINALLY came by to open the case. Any apologies? I was sitting in the waiting room at my Doctor's office and noticed this movie 'Forever My Girl' playing. Well, what can I say? This chick-flick with the handsome beefy young guitar playing guy reconnects with his fiancé that he left at the alter 8 years ago. My name was called and I got pulled away from the last quarter of the movie. I really wanted some fresh popcorn and to stay in the waiting room to finish the movie. I hunted for about a day to find the movie on multi-viewing platforms with no such luck. Browsing through Walmart I found the exact movie CD in a clearance bin for $1.97. It was truly my lucky day!
