Actually I am not a regular at Walmart but we had to get something what Walmart carries at a better price. We went to pick up a delivery inside store and my husband show them code on his phone to verify delivery on his name. Employees were nice and we had nice short interaction. 10 min later my husband asked for his phone, thought I had it and I called him right away. Phone was turned off! He remembered that he left it on the counter by computer and went back there. I followed him and on my way I saw boy ( hood looking boy with backpack) who was actually sitting and waiting for something on the chair the entire time we were there getting order. Phone was not there and I assumed if that boy was a "reason". Make story shorter. Walmart manager went over cameras and figure out that was a boy who stole the iPhone 6s Plus. Rather then to go to police he came to me saying he has our phone and he looked scared. So I was not sure what just happened told him "thank you for your honesty", but in a reality what I found out 5 min later he was scared coz he stole it and did not want to get in trouble with police. Well, I could make it worse by taking him to the station or calling to get him since cameras show he intentionally took it from behind cashier's place, but I also hope he will learn something out of this and told him thank you for being honest to make him at least embarrassed... p.s. Do not leave you belongings anywhere. And thank you Walmart employees for being on top of this situation. read more

2 times my online order has been canceled a couple hours before pickup. Why even let me make an order?

I was so happy to receive great service from Otis Walker in electronics! I was checking the status of an online order via phone, and kept getting transferred from person to person. I ended up in the electronics dept and he made sure he took care of me personally. He left the dept to walk back to the pick up area and look for my order. When the status showed something unusual, he didn't even give me time to request he look into further- he automatically offered to dig in deeper and gave me the answers I needed. I know it's hard to give dedicated service to customers in big box stores, so I REALLY appreciate the extra time and attention! Thank you Otis!! read more

Although I am thankful that there is a Walmart nearby my home, I can't say the same about the people working at the customer service counter. Recently I came across 2 people working at the customer service counter who are probably the rudest people I've ever met. It's sad because there is always going to be a reason that I need to go to Walmart. And for some reason if I change my mind about a purchase I'm going to have to return it. And when I do return it I'm going to have to deal with the people running the customer service counter. Some of the other managers that I've come across were actually very nice but I wish they could to somehow pass on their kind vibes to the people at customer service. There's really nothing that can be done about it except that I'm going to have to cross my fingers and say a little prayer the next time I have to return something so that maybe, just maybe I might happen to meet a kinder more gentler soul working the counter at Customer Service. read more

Daaang. People are haters. This is Walmart, my friends, not some non-chain, high school employer. For a Walmart this place isn't awful. It's in a great location with lots of parking and has lots of good places in the strip shopping nearby (Baskin Robbins, GameStop, Supercuts, Starbucks, Pflugerville Donuts, etc). When are the employees EVER happy working here? I haven't ever run across anyone who was rude or mean to me and this is my go-to Walmart. It's fairly well kept and is decently stocked. Produce section is good for what I want and need when I can't make it over to somewhere like Whole Foods. Pretty large wine and beer section (THANK YOU!). Gas pumps are usually some of the cheapest around. This Walmart doesn't necessarily deserve four stars (maybe 3.5) but I'm rounding up to cancel out this haterade some of y'all are sippin'. read more

First of all, we are talking Walmart. Not Neiman Marcus or Macy's. The staff are generally friendly and knowledgeable. Walmart staff deal with a lot of crazy and angry people, so I cut them some slack on the occasion someone is having a challenging day. This location is easily accessible from I45 or I130 Tollways. There is plenty of parking, and well lit. This is in a very safe area of Pflugerville, and Police Department is just across the street. This location is usually well stocked with products, and organized and clean. I am not a huge fan of Walmart's, due to the local businesses they drive out of business. However, that is business and we have the opportunity to support our local businesses, which most often, I do. I highly recommended this Walmart, if you just have to shop Walmart.:) read more

I usually pick my groceries up at Cedar Park Walmart on Walton Way, never have any issues impeccable service. I am going to my to make dinner at my sons new apartment I ordered everything I needed to pick up to make dinner for my sons. I check in then go there. Waited maybe 15 minutes the young boy that came out clearly didn't want to be there. He said we didnt have the package of meat that I ordered. I'm like wow ok well that defeats the purpose because that was the main course. The boy said "well we are out I dont know what to tell you" Do you want your groceries in the back seat?? I have been using the Walmart online shopping and drive up pickup in the last few months. I would like to say they are doing a great job in filling my order and having it ready for pick up in the time slot I had chosen. My husband tried to tip one of the girls who came out in the freezing rain to load up the groceries but she refused the tip,but I will continue to try and tip them because they work really hard to get those orders out. Make sure and check whether or not you want substitutions or not on your order. I shop mostly organic produce and they have most of what I want in stock,but I don't want substitutions of regular produce and Walmart has filled my orders accordingly. I have ordered printer ink,cough medicine,shampoo,etc,also in my orders,so you can buy other items other than food that can be added to your pickup. read more

I am very grateful that Walmart is offering curbside pick up for groceries. Everything we have received has been excellent. The produce has been wonderful and not damaged in any way. I have actually found items online that i would most likely have never found if I was shopping in the store. We live in Austin but we drive to Pflugerville because this is the best Walmart in the area. We have two other Walmart stores that are closer to us than this store but I have found this store to be better in everyway. I love this Walmart location !!!!!! read more

I like the idea of having a new Wal-Mart down the street from me. I was never a huge WM shopper in the past, but having one so close has encouraged me to go there for the lower prices. However, I have to psych myself out before I go there. I know what time of day I go, it's still going to be packed and there will still be ONLY TWO-THREE checkouts open!!! I often wonder why they even build so many check-outs. Do you think its just to make us believe that SOMEDAY they will have all of them open? As Wal-Marts go, this one is pretty good. It's clean and pretty well organized. I don't shop here that much simply because I don't think about it. The groceries actually are cheaper than HEB in many cases but HEB is closer to my house...and I just don't want to be out in the heat for one second longer than I have to. So there....I said it. The reason for the three stars only is the pharmacy. Several months ago, we went to have prescriptions filled and since we had new insurance we asked if they accepted it. We were told they did so we left the scripts and did our shopping. First of all it took nearly an hour longer than we were told it would to get them filled. If they had been super busy, I would have understood but they weren't. Then...imagine our shock when the total came out to over $100 dollars! It turns out they don't take our insurance...I can't even begin to understand why they didn't tell us in the first place. In any case, since they were asthma medications for our son and we really needed them asap, we went ahead and paid. Now, I understand that $100+ for prescriptions doesn't seem like that much because prescription meds are expensive, etc. etc. BUT that's why we have insurance! At any rate, we will never have prescriptions filled there again...even if our insurance changes. I have to question the competence of the whole pharmacy staff...insurance is the least of the process and they couldn't get that right?? Scary. read more

This is in regards to the Customer Service Department: I returned a plastic beverage tub on a Sunday afternoon, for some reason unknown the money was not credited to my account. Fast forward to Monday afternoon: I've seen that the credit still has not been applied to my credit card account, so of course I go back to Customer Service. Wait in line till my turn, approach the counter to discuss my issue with the young lady with the SADDEST LONG face ever. Whom I attempt to kill with kindness because her attitude sucks so bad, it's beyond belief she's still working behind this counter. GURL IF YOU HATE CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS BAD, GET OUT OF IT. BECAUSE YOU STINK AT IT, AND BY STINK YOU SMELL. I honestly almost made a remark about it because it was awful. Put a smile on and suck it up. Because last time I check I put my big girl panties on the same way everyone else does for a job. Back to my review.....She proceed to explain to me there is nothing she can do to resolve my credit to my account. And I will need to speak to the accounting department. As well there hours are 5-2, where I chime in "5 am?" Are you for real, who on earth is going to wake up at 5AM to resolve this issue. Besides those are unrealistic business hours for people who work reasonable hours. But whatever I'll call at this ungodly hour. Well guess what by Tuesday morning at 6 AM, when I wake to begin. The credit has finally been applied to my account correctly. So assuming the issue was resolved. Will I return to shop at Wal-Mart again, NO! They don't even care local products people why would you want to shop here, support your communities. But if your in the Customer Service Department, tell that lady with the SADDEST LONG face ever to smile, put your big girl panties on and deal with it. read more

Oil changes. They are actually pretty simple to do but when it comes to the time and cleanup, I just pay to have someone else do them for me. I do not expect above and beyond service. Hell, I do not even expect 'Please', 'Thank You' or 'Yes sir.' I just expect you to change my oil and leave my car in the same condition it was in when I arrived. My simple desire is where this oil service station at the Wal-Mart on 685 failed. After a reasonable wait, I am called back to pay for an oil change. I get to my car, do a basic walk around to make sure there are no new scratches or bumps and my tires are good. I get in and drive home. On the way I notice a slight rattling sound. Turns out one of the technicians had broken the front grill such that the chrome top edge was partially exposed and flapping against my hood. I drive back and ask them to explain the damage and see what they are willing to do about it. After 15 minutes with the tech and then hunting down a manager who seemed to be interested in clocking out for the day, I was told the damage was there before the service. This is just not true. I would have probably given the place 3 or 4 stars but because they damaged my car and then lied to me, I would love to take a few stars out of their lying...yeah, you get my drift. read more

So we ate at the McDonalds and Matthew got a Skylander toy. We proceeded to leave that area and rolling around to the boys socks section. about half way there, Matthew wants to put his toy figure in his pocket and I help him. Well that started to get strange looks from other people around there. We continued to walk over to the sock section and I started to noticed that a certain man was walking around us several times but never stopping. I figured that they perhaps though that Matthew had pocketed something. So we continue to walk back to the register and we waited a short time. The same man was at the front now.. I looked at him and made eye contact but with my glasses he was not able to see. We walked out of the store and no other contact from anybody. I really needed him to tell me to have my son empty his pockets.. I was like wow.. have my camera and mic on and the video goes directly to dropbox... here we go.. but there was nothing like that. read more

This store is very clean and even though it's way out of my way to drive to, i always come here because there's a better selection and i don't feel like there's a safety risk for shopping there. As far as Walmarts go this one is about the same only a little cleaner inside and better organized. Unless you have a day to kill standing around waiting on your car don't bother with the Automotive section. They are slow beyond belief, They do have cheaper tires than most of their competition but if your time is valuable just look for a competitors coupon or pay a little more and go over to FireStone. If you really want to save money on tires and use Walmart just drop your car off and pick it up later in the day. The Meat and Produce section are unbelievably bad. Walmarts do not have instore butchers due to a Union strike years ago. Most all the meat is shipped in prepackaged and is not the freshest. Produce is not near as fresh or as good as HEB down the road. Walmart is my go to place for packaged items like boxed cereal peanut butter canned foods etc.. Clothing section is well enough organized, and although cheaper does not seem to hold up as long. A good place to buy socks, underwear and toddler clothes. I have scored some amazing deals on flat screen TV's in the electronics dept. Like every other Walmart checkout can be a challenge. Sometimes I think the store policy is to install 20 something checkout lanes but only staff about 3 of them. Gotta protect that bottom line I guess. read more

Most of the workers are either in a group talking or on their phones. We asked for help on finding an item. The two people we asked was on their phones. One told us " we don't have that its sold out". Even though the app said it was in stock. The other employee said there was some in back. She did go get them so we could look. We go in there the other night to buy a hover board. Website and app said 6+ in stock. It was on sale and no one would look it up to see if they had it or where. Just said they don't carry that brand. Even though I showed them the app. The next day site says there are only 2 in stock. So it really don't make since. No one wants to do their jobs any more just ay on phone and make a check. So sad! read more

I had to purchase oil for my car today prior to work. I purchased the oil at Wal-Mart and I went out to my car and a man approached me to see if I needed help and I asked him for one of the paper funnels. Moments later "Josh" came out with a smile and a plastic funnel and assisted me. He asked many important questions, gave suggestions and placed oil in my car and rechecked the oil level. He is an asset to your company! I wanted to tip him, but he would not accept it. I purchased a tire from the Walmart Auto Center on 685 (because Discount Tire-across the street was closed for an employee function). After selecting the tire, I specifically told the manager I would remain in the store during the expected 3-4 hour wait and gave my cell phone for notification in addition to my home phone to complete the service ticket. I went to the counter to ask about the status of the tire replacement after 1 hours and was told they had called and left a message on my home phone. I paid for the tire and went directly home (less than 3 miles away). On Sunday morning on my way to church the tire went flat and was torn. I called for a tow and while waiting I called Walmart Auto Center to notify them the new tire now less than 18 hours old was flat. The tow driver changed the tire to my spare and asked how old the tire was. He suggested I take it back immediately. Upon arrival the manager asked what did I drive over to cause the flat. The tire belts were broken and the tire was ripped. I had to pay another service fee for another new tire because the "new" but flat tire was unserviceable. Was there an apology offered for trusting Walmart for a new front tire? NO! read more

This location is my neighborhood Walmart. I'm disappointed once again with the cashier that checked my groceries. Vanessa did not smile the entire time and would not respond to my kindness and politeness that I expressed to her. Shouldn't it be the cashier's job to greet me, not the other way around. I thanked her for assisting me and it was like, no one was home. Walmart needs to do a better job at supervising their employees and stop hiring rude people. They work in customer service. The automotive services is ran so very poorly there is no management and if there is they don't care any place you ever went tells you an hour for an oil change when there's no other cars in the bays for service you still in business because they're riding the coattails out of the main store I called the automotive department from my cell phone to ask how much longer it would be fpr 8my oil_change he put me on hold three different times each time over 5 minutes the funny thing about it is I was standing 10 ft from the worker who put me on hold but was busy talking to his friend or co-worker about what he did last night talk about customer service it's lost it in that area for now on guess we'll end up going to Jiffy Lube and paying a little bit more but at least I'm out of there and they care I'm sorry but we gave numerous chances over the years and nothing has changed read more
