No one in this Walmart can help us exchange our propane tank. We tried paying at the self service at the front of the store and the card reader is broken. Spent 20 min in line at the store for them to charge us for it, but then proceed to say they don't know how to give us the code to enter back at the self service to physically exchange the tank. They told us to call a number. 30 min wait on the phone. We went and stood in line at customer service and waited another 20 minutes to get our money back. No managers on schedule, and no one apparently can help us. Terrible terrible terrible customer service. 1 hour here and no propane tank. Don't come here no one knows what they're doing. read more

I went today to Walmart 05479 for an oil change. I was told it'll take 40 mins. 65 mins later my car was still outside, completely ignored. Inside the shop there were 7 cars parked, but nobody was working on them for as long as I kept an eye on the inside. It looked like a deserted parking lot in an apocalyptic B-movie. So I asked for my keys and left. Yep, you get what you pay for, and Walmart is just terrible. Never again. It's hard to communicate with some of the employees here when there's a problem or question. They only had the self check out opened for "15 times or less" so I was asking the employee about that and she couldn't understand English. After waiting in a long line to be checked out by a cashier I was overcharged by her mistake. This employee couldn't understand English well either so she directed me to someone else. Kind of annoying that small things are so difficult for this store. Had the self check out been opened for more than 15 items i could have checked myself out without a problem. Also I've noticed that some items here are at least $0.25-$1.00 more than the same item by the same brand at HEB and Target. read more

Every time I step into a Walmart, not just this one, I feel like I should help organize the shelves! And I can never find anything. I picked out a glass for my granddaughter and found out it was defective at checkout. All I had done was hold on to it. Then I saw a platter that looked attractive for the tea party I was going to have, but after looking it over, it had a crack in it! I just can't trust the quality of things I get there. Probably the worst Walmart I've been to, and it's not that you feel as if you're going to get robbed. Never seem to have anything, almost like they're going out of business for some reason... Also the people standing around in Walmart vests can't help and if you ask them to help they get offended that they're having to work. Definitely the rudest employees I've ever encountered. The automotive center at this Walmart is awful. Twice I went there and it was only staffed by someone guarding the door but unable to help with anything automotive related. I walked in for rotation and balancing of tires and they said I needed an appointment. I made an appointment for the next morning. They unlocked the doors 20 minutes after my appointment time, then told me that I can't have an appointment for rotating and balancing tires, because they don't make appointments for that. I pointed to my name on the appointment list and they said it was for new tires. This is my local Walmart and this is ridiculous. I go to this Walmart almost on the daily and the manager tonight Brandy was horrible. Because she wanted to limit the number of tills to count but the there were two crazy lines in the whole store. This is was a smart idea and this should be a promotion to hire more staff. Instead of just accepting the bare minimum, try to provide additional customer service that was needed. While here, the manager was asked a price check on a major item and the manager told the customer that you have to wait until she get the line down first before she can check instead of using the walkie talkie on her hip to call another staff member to check the price on the item. She was more concerned about getting people out of the way instead of providing true customer service. She was more concerned about her concerns instead of looking out for the customer. Finally, I do not to come to this Walmart after 10p - 3am. You will automatically put that current label of saying "I hate Walmart" because incidents like this. This location (and others) apparently has something against shoppers who only want to get a few things. They NEVER HAVE BASKETS. Never. They will get a load in about once/year (if that) and then they'll slowly dwindle until there are like 2-3 total. I go in once or twice a week to get a few things. I'm not pushing around a cart for that. If there are no baskets, I'll only buy what I can carry. It's pretty trashy that a company as big as Walmart can't supply something as simple as shopping baskets. In contrast, it's a sincere pleasure to go into HEB or Target and have dozens of baskets available. I will probably not be shopping at this location anymore because it has become clear that they do not want customers like me and I'm sick of either hunting around for the one basket someone just got through using, or carrying everything in my arms and/or only buying what I can carry. The only reason I am rating 3 stars is because of the idiot I got at first... I had a flat leaving the ball park tonight. I put some air in and ran to Walmart! I got here at 7:50 and I pulled up. The guy who came up to me said they close at 8 and they couldn't help me. I said it is 7:50... it is not 8. He said they don't start tickets once they are past 7:45. I work with Walmart for my job at the corporate level... this was a flat out lie! I guarantee you if I show up at 7:59 Walmart will take my car! In a lot of cases if I show up at 8:10 and there are people here they will help you. Walmart corporate will make sure of that! I convinced the guy to switch out the spare at the least. When I arrived to pickup order, I called the number to checkin only to be told my order wasn't ready & the customer service rep couldn't give me a time on when it would be ready. I've been sitting here for almost an hour waiting. Target would never!!!! I could have went into the store to purchase the units myself & been in & out. It's hit or miss if you're gonna be able to find what you came here for. Some shelves and items are well stocked but then other shelves are completely empty or look a mess. There are a ton of people but never anyone that can help you. I have been told "I don't speak English" or "your guess is as good as mine" when I have tracked down someone with a question. I see a lot of employees standing around doing nothing in random parts of the store. What I like... convenience of location from my house and pricing (if they happen to have what you need). Update: 9/3/21 This morning I stopped in to grab candy for school... the aisle was a MESS. Only one person acknowledge me on my way in. I saw some people actually working and stocking shelves. Wanted to grab canned mandarins for my baby and while the canned vegetables were well stocked, canned fruit was completely empty. *typical of what I would expect at this Walmart I will say it looks like they got a little makeover out front and the aisle signs looked new. The kicker of this mornings visit... I had to walk to the other side of the store to do self checkout... no cashiers... the self checkout stations near the main entrance were not set up for customers... which is fine but makes no sense and there always seems to be something that doesn't make sense about their set up when I visit. Then on my way out, my bags and receipts were THOROUGHLY checked, as well as the lady at the entrance then looked inside my purse after checking everything and saw my febreeze car plugs (I put them there intentionally so I wouldn't forget to plug them into the front) and asked me to take my receipt back out to make sure I had paid for them. Sure she's doing her job... and very well at that... but the vibe I get from the store is that most of the employees just don't care. The pharmacists and pharmacy techs are nice. But I finally gave up shopping at the store because they treat customers like criminals and there's never anyone to help customers either. It's pretty much all self-checkout and I've had an employee grab my arm before to stop me at the door to check my receipt. And some of the people who monitor at the self-checkout just sit and talk and don't pay attention so you have to wait a long time to have ID check for alcohol or if there's an error. And some of the monitors are extremely rude. I think it all flows down from the manager who seems to be of the mindset that everyone who steps into the store is going to rob it. I'd rather go to Target and pay a tiny bit more but interact with nice employees. read more

This was my last visit at this Walmart. I've noticed several instances when I've shopped hereI've been treated poorly (I'm white) by employees (Asian) . I've gotten this treated at the self check and leaving the store where they check ur receipt. this last visit I was at the self check minding my own business checking out my items when the lady working the self check made a point to come over to me and tell me I wasn't weighing produce right. (Bananas) I told her I was. She said I was weighing them on the edge not in the middle. I told her I was not and moved aside so she could replay the video on the screen. She didn't she just shook her head and said ok- sarcastically. I just looked at her and finished scanning my items and left. I looked at my receipt when I got to the car and the bananas I weighed were 2.72 lbs@ .50 cents a pound so I paid $1.36. I also had 2.5 lbs of grapes, 2 lbs of zucchini and 1.6 lbs of tomatoes. Sometimes when I leave the store I've noticed that Asians, & Hispanics are let thru but whites and blacks are stopped and go thru receipt and cart. If I could rate this Walmart ZERO stars I would. My fiancé and I went in this evening to purchase a new tv. Spent over $700 on the tv plus other items just to get stopped and quite literally HARASSED at the door. I understand it is their policy to check receipts at the door but customers are well in their rights to refuse this request. When my fiancé said he wouldn't be showing our receipts, I was pushed out of the way by a greeter named John so that he could physically block us from exiting the store. I am 5 months pregnant and did not appreciate this treatment AT ALL. I spoke to the manager, Joe, about it, and he could care less and told me he was the only manager in the store at the time so I would have to call corporate if I wasn't happy with his response to the situation. So I did just that and will not be returning to this Walmart and will avoid Walmart altogether as much as I can. I interacted with several Walmart employees after this incident happened and none of them had any level of customer service skills. read more

Arrived at this location 20/Jan/24 at 7:20am . There was two B/M standing at the counter talking, both Employee's of Walmart . I observed a third H/M older, transporting tires around inside. I talk with the B/M behind the counter that had a apparent leg injury about my visit to have all four tire valve stem's replaced on my Ford Experdition. He Informed me that I needed to schedule this on-line. I told him a Manager of the Walmart in George Town said I could just drive in and there would be no problem. I asked him how many car's was ahead of me and stated one oil change. I observed several employees walking around in the service area that did not appear busy. He said that they had a tire appointment at 10:00am and 12:00pm . So I said at this point I'm the 2nd person in-line and they can't put tire stems on my vehicle. He said yes. I asked for a manager and he told me there was none avaliable . I walked up front and a B/F in customer service told me no store manager was available and she could not call one. I said could you get someone here please. And she called a Team Leader . He eventually arrived and called the H/M that was pushing tires who happen to be the on-duty manager. He was not willing to assist me and told me Walmart Policy does not allow drive in customers and the Pflugerville Location because they were to busy. I advised at this point I'm the 2nd Person in line before 10:00am appointment. He was frustrated and said you're the customer I'll do it myself and it won't take long. I thanked him. Upon completion he advised me that he only replaced one tire stem driver side rear. It was the only faulty one. He said the on dash light would reset itself. 02/02/24 while driving on i35 north the new valve stem came out and deflated and destroyed my tire I was traveling the speed limit. I manage to steer the vehicle off the road safely but it could have been a lot worse. 02/04/24 I went back to Walmart 8:15am And asked for a Manager. Michael a Employee at Walmart informed me that there was no Manager on duty that could assist me with the new Installed Tire Stem that came out. He stated there was only one Technician and he did not have any Authority . He advised me to make a appointment on-line More to come !!! read more

What kind of store has employees standing outside the door entrance at 8:15 saying we are closed and not allowing people inside. Door hours of operation it 7 am to 8:30. Which means doors operate until 8:30 not 8:15. This is ridiculous. I could understand the employees doing this at 8:27 the earliest. The leadership at this store is not run very well and there empathy is not were it needs to be. Company like Amazon is the reason why most places are closing. The worst shopping experience ever, will not be going back. The new self-service checkout lines are unusable if you have a basket full of groceries getting someone to actually check you out requires begging customer service to get someone on one of the cash registers. Out of all the cash registers three of them are broken in one manner or the other the one we were at the printer was broken we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for someone to come over and fix it. Walmart's experiment into getting rid of more staff is a total failure in my humble opinion we will definitely be shopping at Target HEB Aldi pretty much anywhere but Walmart read more

Came for a propane tank refill and after waiting 3 different times for someone to actually show up and assist me, they tried to tell me they didn't have any new ones. They eventually unlocked it for me and I had to point to the full tanks so they would get it for me. Dropped my vehicle off for 2 tires 2 be replaced on 5.18.19. Unfortunately this ordeal is continuing to haunt me. The Tech working on my vehicle lets me know he needs to show me something. I see my car door handle hanging off the side of my vehicle. He lets me know that he was sorry but that he had broken my handle off and it did not work.He said he couldn't & that the only way you can use the door is to reach in through the window. I've already had an issue with broken ins now you're suggesting leave my window open 24/7.Ultimately I needed to speak with his supervisor. He requested the Department Manager Jessica to come over in which she slowly made her way over to inspect the hanging handle. She asked the tech if it was broken before, in which his response was no. She then asked me and I confirmed the techs answer with another no. Jessica then proceeded to let me know that I could still get in just reach in through the window and that they weren't going to do anything about it. Before I could even blink, Jessica turns around ignoring me talking and walks off.The tech attempted getting her attention in which I let him know that I would find someone else to speak with.I unfortunately was checked out by Jessica. While at the register she said not a word. Confused, I looked at the payment screen in which my total was displayed and it was requesting payment.As shes printing everything out, I get ready to sign the Service Order she had given me a Copy of as I always have when using Walmart. Oddly enough, I didn't sign anything. Just dismissed by the her calling for the next customer. Well funny, I signed the gentlemen s device when I checked in but never again. After speaking with another associate of this department I was notified that the Service Order is created prior to work being done to the vehicle. That being said, if any damages were present at the time that I physically handed my key to the associate I would have been notified then, and it would have been agreed and noted on the order. So if your tech literally called me into the Bay to show me something that something being my broken front driver side door, why would that comment have made its way into the initial service order I agreed and signed noting no damages? This "Customer Signature" signed supposedly by myself, looks nothing like my signature.In order to cover her tracks, Jessica somehow removed my signed service order from their system, created another one indicating that I dropped the vehicle off with those damages and even signed it stating I agreed!My vehicle is not safe for me to drive, nor will Walmart reprehend this employee or make up for any of this. I visited to request my original service Order and ultimately she refused to come speak with me, and had the assistant manager and asset protection manager tell me they couldn't give me a copy of my own documents. I personally have never felt so lost, and completely shocked by this company. The past 2 days have given me so much stress and anxiety. I need my vehicle to go to work, to make money, and ultimately keep a roof over my head.Chasing people around trying to force them to take responsibility just isn't something I have the time for. Walmart in Pflugerville does not even deserve 1 star. Had to exchange some dog food my dog didn't like. Got there with 7 people in front of me and only one line open. Asked if they exchange dog food and was told yes as long as I have a receipt. Waited over half hour when the team lead Victor finally decided to open the register. I was next in line, so I told him I wanted to exchange the dog food. He asked me for the reason and I said my dog doesn't like it. He looked at the 24 can box and I told him there are 5 cans missing, one for each flavor plus one (tried it a second time) I have tried to feed my dog. He had to asked the woman on the register first and she told him to ask the manager so he called the manager and was on the phone with him for another 5 minutes. Then he told me they cannot exchange it, because the majority is missing. 5 out of 24 apparently is the majority. So sorry his math teach failed him that badly. Guess that's why he works at Walmart now. I told him I wanted to talk to the manager and he told me his is the manager. The name tag read team lead, which is a supervisor not a manager. He refused to call a manager. Told me to go a head and file a complaint. Well that is exactly what I am doing.
