Big disclaimer: This review is ENTIRELY about the new Zipline Logistics Service, drone delivery of products to your home. I've shopped this WalMart many times over the years and I find it to be worthy of much more than the 2 stars that I see here on average, but that's for a different review or maybe an update. Now, back to the drones I had seen the Zipline drone flying over my home, located less than a mile from this WalMart by air - all the time. They're noticeable, but not annoying. After months of this, we finally had a need. My wife and I both work from home, and were out of breakfast sandwiches and had back to back meetings all morning. So, I signed up for Zipline and found the sandwiches we liked. When I put them in my cart, it said they'd be here in 9-19 minutes! The lower end of that is bona fide quicker than we could drive there and back, to say nothing of shopping. I eagerly hit "buy" and waited. The drone showed up in EIGHT minutes, beating their own estimate! It was incredible, my package was right there, and we were eating breakfast 10 minutes later. I'll admit, I'm torn about this, because on the one hand, it makes getting stuff much less carbon dependant than getting in a gas powered car and driving, but on the other hand, will it encourage us to buy more useless stuff that ultimately goes into landfills? That's up to the shopper. I feel fine about this purchase, the product went into our bellies :) This was a great experience with a very cool technology, and the WalMart staff deserve kudos for getting my order picked, packed, and launched in record time. I don't frequent Walmart stores like I once did. Not that long ago,I would supplement my shopping at other stores with a trip to pick up staples at Walmart. I've pretty much discontinued that because the price savings isn't what it once was. I had time to kill today before a local appointment so,stopped in this location for a " liquid" haul. You know bottles and jugs of juice and other drinks. Of course once in the store,you can't help but grab a few other things. I did notice prices are quite a bit higher. Never come to this Walmart. The employees are all extremely rude and treat you like criminals. I have been TARGETED twice asking for my receipt when the person CLEARLY saw me pay at a register, not self check out for one item. They let other groups of people with full carts right by. The people in the garden center could care less about you and are just playing on the phones, no greeting or anything. They hire a certain type of people who are also against others values. I have proven this twice by simply wearing my cross over my shirt and said person came after me twice. I called to talk to a manager, they could not but they sent me to a supervisor who didnt care. Hey. I am back. Did not learn my lesson. I came back because I ordered a set of third-party tires and this is my closest Walmart. After paying for the tires and install. I set appointment for today (10/20/25) @ 10 AM with instructions that would only be held for 15 min. I get to the store at 9:45 and the tire bays are closed. Person writing out work orders states the tire techs have not come in and should "show up" around 11. I decided to stay and take my 4-year-old grand baby to look for a Halloween costume and check out the toys. I got a text saying we open tire bays at 11. I waited until 10:45 and went to automotive. The bays were open and had 1 car in the first bay and 2 in the second. We pulled into the first bay behind the first car and waited. People coming and people going...I look through the window and my car has been moved behind another car. After 5 hours they get it done. Imagine 5 hours waiting with a restless 4 year old. My bad, I know. Anyhow, of course they added another install to my purchase I had already paid. Adding an additional 82.00 to the tab. I told them I had paid in full. Of course, only a manager can remove these charges leaving to another 15-minute wait. He finally makes it back and asks for my receipt. I don't have my phone just my ID and ask about pulling up my online receipt. Computers are down can't do it. Tells me to go home pull up my email and take pictures for proof. REALLY! I have been here 51/2 hours by now and am pretty steamed. Wrapping up I went home got "proof" went back found him on the parking lot so I wouldn't have to wait any longer and escorted him back to automotive to refund the extra install charges. If I can give zero stars I would. People who work here are useless and could care less about what they do. I bring my truck in wait 20 mins and no one shows up outside and I had an appointment. They guy finally comes and signs me in doesn't ask anything about the oil etc so I figured they had it in the computer. Go to check out total is 90.00 for an oil change because the idiot put down most expensive oil and I even brought my own filter. Ask the guy why is the total so much I am used to paying 44.00 he then tells me they put high end oil in which I didn't request and looks dumbfounded. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. WORST WALMART AUTO REPAIR IN THE US!! My mother took her car for a tire change after discovering a nail embedded in the side. She had a 3 year warranty from Walmart and with that the tire change would be free. At check in, an employee by the name of Sylvia discouraged her dropping her car off due to the shop being busy, mind you there were only 3 other cars there. She lied and told her it would take 4 hours to fix, and laughed in her face during the entire conversation. After 6 hours she called back to see if her car was ready. Once she arrived the same employee who claimed to register her in the first place told my mom that she was never in the system. She then proceeded to continue laugh in her face and show her that her car had not moved from the spot she parked it in 6 hours prior. We then asked for the manager, Edwin (Ed) , he was extremely unhelpful and not sympathetic to the situation. I felt my mother was discriminated against and she was visibly upset, Ed could not care less. He quietly changed the tire, handed back the keys, and apologized for nothing. While trying to explain the situation to Ed, ANOTHER WOMAN in the waiting area spoke up and said she was victim to the similar situation with the SAME worker. Sylvia. It's a Wal-Mart, all the newer ones seem very similar. This one is pretty standard. I work nights and really appreciate that Wal-Mart is open 24/7. I go to this one often in the middle of the night to pick up food and odds and ends, so this one is very convenient for me. They have a good food selection. They have a large fruits and vegetables section and it seems to be well stocked. Also, their toy selection is bigger than most Wal-Marts. All in all, a good place to shop. It is clean and functional for what I need. The people who work the night shift have always been nice to me. Good job! read more

Had a Walmart gift card to use otherwise we try to avoid shopping at Walmart! Today's transaction confirmed our dislike. We received confirmation that our full order was ready at 8:14am. My husband checked into a pickup spot right before 9am. He waited almost 30 minutes for someone to bring him his order. He had called as he waited to see what's up to see if he needs to go inside. They told him they only have 2 people working; mind you it's tax-free weekend so they were definitely not staffed appropriately. On top of that, the employee didn't say a single word when my husband spoke to him. I have been shopping here for at least 10 years. I had my insurance use this pharmacy all the time for convenience and lower prices. I can tell you all the changes I've noticed this store go through and even seen long term versus short term employees. They have come to notice me too because how much I would shop here. What they didn't know is that because of my prescription I had to buy certain things amounting up to $125+ at pharmacy and $100+ grocery to accompany that prescription. So every 2-3 weeks I'd have to shop here and pay a lot. The kind of treatment I would get was not very kind at all. This store has very rude employees. I was told several nasty things, and because they would see me so often some would follow to see if I was shop lifting. I started to hate coming here and my insurance is changing so finally I can stop coming here. Stay away from the pharmacy here. They are rude and not helpful. Watch out for employees that follow if you frequent shop here. To think I spent at least $600-$800 a month here to be treated like what did they say "ghetto customer." Update: I just read all reviews for this store to understand I am not the only one to think rude employees. And those reviews go up to almost the time length I've been shopping here. In all my living long days I never heard of such a silly policy!!!! My husband wanted to purchase beer, Not only did they want to see his ID they also wanted to see mine! We are old enough to be the cashier's parents!!! The beer was for my husband, he showed the cashier his ID. She insisted that they can't sale beer, wine, etc to anyone unless everyone shows their ID. Regardless of who the beer is for. The cashier told us that this was this store managers policy. She understood other Walmart's don't make you go through this. We explained to the cashier since my husband has the credit card and his ID I didn't bring my purse with me I left it at home. We said she couldn't sale my husband beer unless I showed my ID as well!!! We will NEVER shop at this location for any grocery needs. This is typically when we shop at this location for our groceries and my husband sometimes will purchase beer at this time. I am not sure if you are aware , but the Walmart on Redbud is having a pantry moth infestation. I have bought contaminated food and ended up with a infestation 3 times now. How do I know it is Walmart since I shop at multiple places. Walk the isles and move packages around. They are flying around on many of the food areas. It is obvious now. I have had to throw away quite a bit of food to include replacing all my rice. If Walmart does not get a grasp on it then can you imagine how many personal pantries are getting infestation? It could experience exponential growth. What is working for me is cedar stick in vulnerable areas. I am certain it is this store . I was getting pelted by the pantry moths as I shopped at Walmart on Redbud. Please address this before the infestation grows exponentially and turns other people's food into maggot/larve infested pantry moth food. read more

This Walmart on Red Bud is the worst!! No other Walmart does this. This is unheard of. If you are wanting to purchase beer and wine and you have family members with you, their policy is now to check everybody's ID. They said it's a ALL ID CHECK POLICY!! So if one person do not have their IDs, they won't let you purchase. If you are with a little brother or sister under the age of 21 and they are with you, they won't let you purchase liquor!! Some bs. They said that they think you might be purchasing for them.. some bullshit honestly. I recommend going to to another Walmart if you plan on getting beer and wine. This policy is stupid. The employee told me it came from Home Office. But no other Walmart is doing it. Either leave your kids and family in the car and go purchase or just split up and use a different register separate from them. A damn shame you got to do all this just to purchase. read more

Having experienced hellish Walmarts, I'd say this 1 isn't all that bad. We stopped by on a late Saturday afternoon, parking was god awful as expect, the store was pretty clean and well-stocked, and the staff was helpful when necessary. I was able to find my alcohol and cupcakes quickly. Self-check out was simple and the attendant there was super helpful. The only 2 things that were off-putting was the self-check out attendant asked for both of our IDs, which I believe it's standard practice that as long as 1 person is over 21, you don't need everyone's. Whatever. Another strange practice at this Walmart is that we didn't have our liquor bagged because it came in a 12 pack case and the guy at the door stopped us, asked for the receipt, and scanned the items again before letting us proceed to our car. I thought that was weird. Maybe they have problems with alcohol "walking off" but since we literally got rung up by an attendant, I thought that was needless. read more

Still one of the worst WalMarts in Texas. On a nice early spring morning, the garden center is in almost total disarray. Even if you do find something worth buying, there's no one at the cash register. You have to walk all the way down to self-check out, then all the way back to your car where you parked near the garden center. Sorry customer assistance. My wife and I were checking out in the self scan lane and asked for cigarettes. When we scanned the cigarettes it flagged the assistant for the age verification ID check. We are both in our 60s but I get it. My wife didn't bring her purse with her but I presented my TX driver's license since I was paying with my debit card. The assistant told us that since we had both scanned items in unless we both could present IDs we could not purchase the cigarettes. BRAVO Walmart for your excellent order and pickup service during this time of Covid 19. We have used it 3 times now, and have had excellent results. Sure, they can be out of some things like every grocery store now. And occasionally they may have to make substitutes if you allow them. Their app works fantastic: easy to add things to your "cart", easy to pay, easy to select a pick up time which is usually the very next day. They notify you when your order is ready and if using the app, they know when you arrive. You just indicate on the app the number of your parking spot and color of your vehicle. Then groceries are brought out and put into your car fairly quickly You don't have to sign the electronic pad. Just show your driver's license. We have never had any problem with getting the correct items. Evidently the "pickers" are extremely conscientious and careful. If an item is out of stock and there are no substitutes, we are notified. There is also time to edit your order before they gather the items. Slick! Well done! I don't know if all Walmarts work this efficiently, but this one on Redbud has been great. Good job!!! And many thanks to all the employees who are working hard during this time so that we can get our groceries. You are terrific. read more

The associate who works at the self check out, Sanya, is awesome! She provided great customer service to myself and my husband. We had a very full cart and she had the idea to provide us with a second cart to put items in after we scanned them. Additionally, the customers checking out next to us were very rude to her and she continued to help them with a smile on her face. She should be recognized for her customer service! read more
