So it's been about a week and a half since I've been back to this, Walmart I'm trying to find another one that's a little bit better, but we did self check out right by the door, where you walk out, ladies looking at us and everything else, and I was going out the other door where our car is parked, and My son had our bags I had the receipt but when I turned around, I saw her stopping him so I started walking right towards the lady to show her my receipt! She grabbed the receipt out of my hand and didn't look in the bag, but was trying to grab my sons kombucha out of his hand! I said excuse me it's right there on the receipt and she still kept trying to grab the kombucha out of his hand and I said ma'am do you have probable cause to stop and ask him for anything? And she insisted on grabbing the kombucha out of his hand still when it was right there clearly on the receipt! while she's doing this she's letting four people pass us without saying hold up walking out with carts full of shit asked her. Why aren't you stopping these people? And she was still insisting on grabbing the kombucha out of his hand when it was clearly on the receipt I grabbed No. I snatched my receipt back from her and I said, unless you have probable cause you better quit doing your racial profiling thing.! Because as I see it right now, this is racial profiling what you're doing! I was so darn mad!!!! I was going to report her, but My Son said no she's just probably having a hard day at work! But that's not my problem you don't racial profile somebody's child or family and then let your kind be it white, brown ,black ,green, purple just walk on by !!! I am not a racist person. Every time I step into a Wal-Mart, it's one of the worst experiences and I'm always leaving in a foul mood. The workers at this location (specifically electronics and garden) are not worried about providing any kind of customer service. One instance I wanted a $6 phone charger that was locked up and the employee at the electronic dept just said they didn't have the key to open it and didn't assist me further. So I left and bought it elsewhere. The garden dept never seems to have the registers open and when there are workers there they just ignore you or give you attitude. It's like some workers are surprised you came in to purchase items or I guess just hate their jobs and take it out on customers. It's unbelievable. Such a huge corporation and they can't train their employees on how to provide customer service. I'm not even asking for exceptional customer service just some level of it. Our cashier today (in grocery section since garden was unavailable) was absolutely lovely and the only reason im giving 2 stars instead of 1. It's unfortunate that the majority of the employees don't take after her. It's a mixed bag honestly. You never know what you're going to get. But for the most part never a good experience. read more

They say things are bigger in Texas, and I'd guess that extends to Walmarts. I don't really know whether that's true because we don't have Walmart in NYC and I try and avoid them at all costs, but this place is gigantic. You could land a plane in here. Unluckily, I wasn't trying to land any planes, I just wanted to buy some groceries and confetti eggs for Easter. Unfortunately, they were out of the confetti eggs, and the "fresh" produce also left a lot to be desired. And they had neither ground angus beef nor the right brand of tonic for my father-in-law's cocktail of choice. I can only conclude that Walmart is trying to make my father-in-law hate me, and that I do not appreciate as he doesn't need any assistance there. In the future, I plan to do my food-shopping in a place that specializes in selling food, rather than just about everything in all God's Creation. (I've never said that before. Maybe it's because I'm in Texas?) On the bright side, I was able to do wind-sprints in the gigantic aisles in order to work off the 10+ lbs. I've added since I came down here. read more

Let me start by say Kathryn Edwards is the rudest manager I have ever encountered. Walmart should be ashamed of having an employee working for their store like this. I wanted to buy a product and she stated to me that she reserve the right to only sell me a limited item quantity which is in the policy, however when I asked her what was the reason that she wanted to sell me only a limited quantity she had no answer. She did not treat me kind she was not friendly and she was as a matter of fact. This is such a disappointment as I have been treated kindly at all other Walmarts from any manager and/or supervisor that I have spoken with they had a product that I needed for my daughter because she was pregnant and it was discounted on the Walmart app . It has a price at a dollar but it rings up at seven dollars she reserve the right to only sell me a certain quantity but again she could not tell me why she wanted to only sell me one item. Online it did not state that there was a limited quantity but she still stated that she reserve the Right to only sell me one per person this is not OK if the website did not state that and it stated that the price was correct on the actual Walmart app. I feel like more training should be given to Miss Edwards and or other supervisors when it comes to matters of the sort I look forward to hearing back from Walmart. I have been a Walmart customer for over 20 years. I have used Walmart as my primary store for groceries and household goods almost exclusively. I watched as their customer service has gone from outstanding to absolutely dismal. Dealing with their management is a nightmare. I called this morning to inform the manager that Great Value Cottage Cheese (Walmart's own brand) had gone bad even though the expiration date says it will be good until 8/14 another month! This after their entire fresh meat case was emptied due to "refrigeration" issues. I was not seeking my money back; I was calling to inform them. For my effort, the customer service line rang and rang for 6 minutes. Finally it was picked up, I told her the issue, she placed me on hold and then after 2 more minutes on hold, dropped my call. Soooo, I called back... going through the prolonged ringing again. I got the same customer service rep who of course lied and said it was an accident. Hold for another 5 minutes before speaking to an assistant manager who instead of saying "thank you, we will look into it" rambled on with denials and excuses. I'm 100% done being patient with Walmart. They have completely lost track of the fact that customers keep them in business. Kroger is directly across the street and they will now receive my business. read more

The store never has anything is stock. The produce is subpar. The workers 95% of the time have an unpleasant attitude. This most recent trip I found live bug in my lettuce. Didn't plan on doing the review but I had to talk about a particularly bad experience that I had at this Walmart location. I needed to bring back some headphones that I needed to exchange and I didn't have a receipt so they flat out told me I can bring it back. They have the same exact headphones then I just wanted to exchange it out Walmart normally takes just about anything back without a receipt so I didn't know what the big deal was apparently with electronics they generally do not take it back without a receipt but if I don't have the receipt and the freaking item that I bought doesn't work anymore I'm going to bring it back to you guys period. So upon visiting this location again to buy some other stuff I decided to give it one last try to bring this item back and I was going to talk to a manager if necessary. Young lady that was there was a younger Hispanic girl and she was very nice and indicated that I would not be able to get my money back (which I already knew) but that I can at least trade it out or get store credit (which was all I was trying to get anyway.) I told her that I still needed to do some more shopping so about 30 to 45 minutes later when I came back she was gone. That really upset me because I knew...Or let me say I had a strong feeling that if I was dealing with anyone else other than this young lady that I was going to have a problem again I could feel it in my bones. Low and Behold when I came back there was a taller African-American young lady that had a strong New Orleans accent that I could just smell an attitude on mile away. When I ProServ I told her that I had already spoken with an associate in this department and she indicated that I could trade out my item and actually I was going to pay the difference because I bought a more expensive version of the item that I bought initially as he indicated that "I'm sorry you can't even exchange this without a receipt" as a fellow African-American I try my hardest not to have a disagreement with anybody of any race but I especially take care when I'm talking to one of my own just because I know that it can be rough working in a retail environment because I've been there so I try to deal with people even when they're rude to me with grace and professionalism at all times. I calmly told her that if she could just check with the manager again because I'm going to buy this item now. The manager took maybe two seconds looked at the item in the condition of the item I brought back saw that it was still in brand-new condition and simply said no problem go ahead and check them out. You would think that this item was coming out of her actual paycheck the way she smirked and rolled her eyes after the manager who was also an African-American young lady said it was okay to go ahead and trade it out. I don't like stuff like that and when I come the Walmart which I spend upwards of $1000 per month shopping then general I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect I wasn't asking for my money back I just want to store credit which means that Walmart as a company was losing zero dollars. Will I still continue to shop here....yes because they have the cheapest price around but I'm going to take special care to avoid that young lady by any means necessary because she gave Walmart a very bad taste in my mouth and if they weren't so darn cheap I would say boycott Walmart read more

I checked on line for An Edwards pumpkin pie And it showed that the Walmart supercenter had one. I came I didn't find one asked for help, this person said oh no problem let me go in the back in like 20 minutes later she never came back. I found a different clerk that said he worked in frozen and that he could help me. He proceeded to ask me everything I had just told him again and acted like I didn't know what I was doing or where to look. Come here all the time for groceries, school supplies and literally everything thing else. It's so convenient because it's a 4 minute drive from home. Speaking of drives and cars, I'm able to do drive my car now which was all broke down and revived with a battery and other such stuff from the auto center at this Walmart just in the last week. This is specifically about the Walmart Bakery-- We ordered my sons first birthday cake here this weekend and it was amazing. We got a white cake with butter cream icing decorated with Elmo and Big Bird and the details were amazing! Plus it was very, very good. Everyone kept asking me where I got the cake, expecting some fancy bakery. Nope guys, Walmart. I'm impressed. $19 for a cake that serves 20-25 with super cute decorations.
