I went home, took a much needed nap and then went back at 6:30pm. They hadn't even started the process yet. I absolutely refuse to go back here. I have three kids who get sick from time to time, and this location has shown me just how much they DONT CARE about their patients. I will be changing from WalGreens to CVS immediately.

Got in line at the drive-thru prior to closing. When I pulled up to the window, they had the 'Pharmacist Not on Duty' sign in the window. As I waited at the window, an employee quickly peeks her head around to see if I was still there. Why not engage with me the first moment you saw me instead of hiding and hoping I would leave? After 5 more minutes, a different employee comes to tell me they are closed. I told her I was in line prior to closing and she said 'the system automatically shuts down at closing time.' When I asked if I could even check to see if my medication was ready, she said she couldn't because the system had already shut down. If it does automatically shut down at closing as stated, then a lot of people would not be able to complete the transaction they are in the middle of, or service people who were in line prior to closing. If that is true, then they should post that. The rest of my family had to switch to HEB pharmacy because of my wife's insurance. I will be check my insurance to see if switching there is a possibility. They are always kind and helpful.

Some lady (wearing the coat but not doing the job) tells me that she needs a special and specific note from my doctor along with the script... like how is anyone supposed to know that? My understanding was that these people, who are not medically trained, are to listen to doctors instead of deciding for themselves what they believe is appropriate. She had ALL DAY to call my dr if that's what her "logic" required. Instead she calls after 8pm saying "sometimes they have after hours." I'm heading towards the front doors when she says "by the way, I'm not filling your medication even if your doctor calls" So now I'm stuck with no medication, my functionality is out the window.
