It was such a splendid service moment in time that I really don't know where to begin. I sat in car for a minute contemplating on what I wanted to buy, prepare my BBW app (Horrible service and WIFI we all know so Well once you reach any register) and also have a list ready. Well as I begin walking to the door, I was being nosey watching a couple leave PETS SMART training their dog in the parking lot. As I walked in , there was an associate who appeared to be trained at CHICK FIL A (SHANEKA), who greeted me with a smile, bubbly attitude, basket in hand and already showcasing the new scents samples. FREE SMELLS EVERYONE!!!! CHILE SHE ALMOST MADE ME BUY THE WHOLE STORE. She was knowledgeable, courteous, kind, sweet and mostly exemplified patience. She showcased patience by offering several scents while making the best decision. Then I called my boyfriend on FACETIME to ask if he needed any more scents and he of course he needed more (WHY DID I OFFER). She politely listen to all his request, offered him to try new scents, and of course encouraged him to buy the whole store also. We were able to find all of his request except one item which I was able to locate at another store, then I proceeded to find my items. As I was shopping I overheard her talking to another guest in the store and you could tell he was not having a pleasant day. I heard her offer him encouragement, assist with his shopping and before he left he was smiling and thanked her for cheering him up. Then I proceed to the register and was greeted by VALERIE and APRIL (New Associate). Two of the sweetest individuals ever. VALERIE was training APRIL and they were patiently waiting as I was checking and making sure I had everything I needed. The store was giving away a free travel item yesterday which was a plus and all of my items were bagged well and I was asked if I found everything I needed before leaving. APRIL will be a great asset to this company and VALERIE needs to be the designated trainer. EVERYONE AT THIS LOCATION WAS WONDERFUL. I was unable to get everyone's name but I wanted to make sure I acknowledge the people I interacted with the most. THIS STORE IS A MODEL STORE AND THEY DESERVED TO BE RECOGNIZED. As I was preparing my review. I called the store to make sure I had everyone's name correct and spelled corrected. I was greeted by LACHEYA, LORD JESUS you can see her smile through the phone. While we were shopping, Zanaya pushed items directly in front of us while we were still shopping and yelled "excuse me" in a rude and aggressive manner instead of politely asking us to move or waiting until we finished looking at the items. Shortly after, Amaya approached us asking what happened, but instead of listening or addressing the situation, she brushed us off and told us "the store closes at 6, we are shutting down", even though it was only 5:12 PM at the time. After that, Amaya rolled her eyes and made negative comments toward me and my mom when we were walking out of the store, which was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. The entire interaction felt dismissive, hostile, and unnecessary. This was a very upsetting experience, especially on Christmas Eve, and it is not how customers should be treated holiday rush or not. I understand retail can be stressful, but basic respect and courtesy should still be expected. We got to sample several different sparkling wines and learned about the history and background about the different wines. These classes are always fun and informative. Eric did a great job teaching the class and Heather did a great job pouring. We ended the class with a blind tasting and to my surprise Eric had the class sing Happy Birthday to me...Best class ever.
