Pharmacy closes from 1 PM to 2 PM for lunch break. Store seems well organized, and clean.

I just got out of ER was going home needed medication - got there at 8:52 and she refused to fill my medication wanted me to go to a different pharmacy miles away. I just got out of the hospital I needed my medication. She said it would take to long, she had a long day and she refused to do it. This seems to be a common complaint after looking at the reviews on line. Horrible! I will never go to any Walgreens to get medication EVER ! Don't stay open till 9 if you wont fill prescriptions. The walls of Walgreens are never green, so we don't really get it, but life goes on. There's nothing specifically wrong with this Walgreens except the same thing that's wrong with every other Walgreens, which is that they are extremely expensive to the degree that it makes me not want to come here. Barbie likes it though, she prefers WG to most chain pharmacies. Barbie said it was fine and not the worst she's been to, but far from the best. The one place where they really kind of don't get it done is the wait time for the pharmacy. Others have complained about it for a good reason, because it can take absolutely forever to get your stuff when you're actually getting stuff from the pharmacy itself. Having said that, the store itself is fine and just not our favourite. read more

Don't appreciate the pharmacy being closed from 1:30 to 2:00 for a lunch break. Don't get me wrong, everyone needs to have time to relax, rest and unwind, during the day since they are always on their feet but they can stagger employees lunches so that they have coverage for those customers who can only get over here at this time to pick up or drop off a prescription. read more

The lady I previously was complaining about has been a lot nicer the last several times I've gotten my prescription filled. Maybe she was having a bad year in the past but this year seems to be a good year. I hope she continues to have a good year and I can happily keep picking up my prescriptions without feeling like I am the one bothering them. read more

The pharmacy worker named Tommy is amazing at this Franz location! He was so attentive and helpful! He called other pharmacies in Houston to find who had my moms prescription she needed ASAP. He made sure everything was taken care of by time I went to pick it up from spring Texas. I only go here for one thing... poster board print outs. Walgreens photo department actually has very high quality prints. The website could use an update but my orders are always ready same day and I never have to wait long to pick up. Definitely a cost efficient and user friendly way to order all kinds of stuff both business and personal. read more

Dealing with this pharmacy is HAZARD to your health! The workers are crooked, uneducated and unprofessional. Ive spent over 4 hours and 25 minutes of indefinite hold times over the last 3 days. The people who have answered cant decipher prescription information on their screen and put me on hold again! Service is unacceptable, ambiguous practices change every month to challenge, change, refuse or cancel drs prescriptions that they previously filled, with no details or updates provided. When they do fill something the wait time is excessive and unreasonable. Save yourself the hassle and stay away from this place! read more

In summary: not rare to be denied service regardless of confirmation information or medication in stock (tells customer it is out of stock). Recommend a different pharmacy. The pharmacy experience is dependent on which team is on the floor. Sometimes it can be pleasant and your receive the medication without issues. We have been turned away, told to come another day, regardless of what confirmation notifications we provide them. In one of many examples, we had our medication pick up notifications, and the pharmacy told us they didn't have the medication in stock. When asked for what we could do, they told us to go to a different Walgreens to see if maybe another walgreens had the medication in stock. We then asked if they could verify the stock at the other location before we drove around town. They said they were unable to do that. We then informed them about the time time sensitivity of the medication and continued to show them the confirmation we received about our medication being ready. *Only after stressing the importance of the medication for the baby* did they provide us with the medication. The concerning part is that the they told us moments before that they pharmacy didn't have that medication in stock and told us to go to other places. But the reality is they did have it in stock, and we went to the store only after being notified that our medication was ready. If you are able to go to a different pharmacy, I would recommend it. You don't want to be denied service when you need it most. Better to have a reliable pharmacy if able. read more

I have to say this pharmacy never fails to disappoint. I called the pharmacy this morning at 9:30, I needed to talk to the Pharmacy, (my problem couldn't be handled by the automated prompts), and no one answered the phone. I let it ring and ring and ring. I have never heard of a pharmacy NOT answering their phone. read more

The slowest Pharmacy ever be prepared to wait 30 minutes in the drive thru. Not a limited experience but seems to be the norm.

This has to be the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. Do not come here unless you have 30-45 minutes to wait in line. Even if you are the first person in line, they walk by you 10 times before they actually start talking to you. The drive through is even worse. It's like they have a rule of making you wait in the drive through at least 10 minutes before acknowledging someone is there. Then after you are acknowledged they wait another 5 minutes to come to the window. They are horrible. read more

The pharmacy staff are RUDE. There a 5 people working behind the counter and in the past they have still closed the entire pharmacy for lunch even with that many employees (also after calling you to tell you your prescription is ready). Today, they asked if we were there to pick up prescription, we said yes and she said "we're closing for lunch" and proceeded to roll the partition in our faces. When I told the lady how rude and ridiculous that was being she just rolled her eyes. We were literally the only ones there. No long lines of people... Better off using Brookshire Brother's pharmacy across the street or H‑E‑B or CVS. I'll be transferring all of my Rx later today. read more

I went to pick up my prescription at the Franz Road Walgreens. The drive thru line was long but it was before 1:00 and I knew the pharmacist break was at 1:30. I was like 5th in line. It was getting close to 1:30 and I was still in line, just 1 car in front of me. After waiting in the line over 30 minutes, I finally get to the window and the Pharmacist Off Duty sign goes in the window! I am so pissed off! You want to do Covid testing at the store, that's fine, but dedicate a separate line for that service! I will be looking at getting my prescriptions transferred to CVS! read more

Dropped prescription off at the drive thru after sitting their for 15 min. Was told it would be ready in 30 min. Came back 40 min later and was told it would be 15-20 min because the drive thru tech did not give it to the pharmacist. Ridiculous! And Express Pick-up is a JOKE. EVERYONE gets in the Express line even when they don't have a pass. If the pharmacy techs aren't going to put a stop to it, then there is NO point to the program. read more

The pharmacist is wonderful. She took the time out of her day to go get me milk for me. I actually did not bring shoes and my wife called me when I was in the drive through and said we needed milk. I believe her name is Aunach. However, I probably misspelled her name. She was very kind and thoughtful. The CVS right down the street is horrible compared to this pharmacy and it's because of Aunach. read more

This location has the friendliest employees! Items on sale are always in stock. The downer? Everything else is so high priced, if it isn't on sale then you are paying way too much for the convienanace factor. Photo developing has been a problem for me with ALL walgreens locations. I have ordered gifts, photo cards and photo books using the online processing and I am usually disappointed with the quality of the photo images. read more

never have an issue here. the staff is always courteous and nice. they accept coupons and will price match items in the stores if not priced correctly. i also come here for my prescriptions and never have a problem. read more
