Fiesta your eyes on this excellent grocery store! Honestly, I've had such bad experiences with grocery stores in Houston. So much bad service, so much bad product, so many bad stories. Fiesta stores have been nothing but trouble for me. So it's nice to find such a helpful and friendly and efficient location in Katy. Yes it's still a mega chain, but this is a damn good location of said mega. This section of a very popular Katy based shopping plaza has had plenty of popular trendy restaurants and less popular restaurants and other businesses which seem to come and go, which is strange because the rents are not bad and there are plenty of other good businesses here and lots of traffic. It's a good plaza with a lot of great businesses past and present that we've explored. read more

A bit dated. Their home made chicken wings are pretty sad esp compared to HEB. Some of the aisles have the wrong signage. They have Thai and Vietnamese aisles which is cute but don't hold your breath about what's there. I realized here that self checkouts are my thing because they have all staffed check outs, they are slow, and they freaking use too many bags. How do I leave with 5 items but 6 bags? When I do the bagging I stick all I can in one bag. Even if I asked, which I have before, they will often bag an item then stick it in another bag. I have never before ever had a health care product fuse with or make babies with a non health care item so I'm still confused why I need a new separate bag to hold two things that are in their own wrappers but are different categories of products. Ban plastic bags. Just force us to bring our own bags. read more

I'm surprised that I have never reviewed this store as I visit it quite regularly. They don't have as many locations as other chain grocery stores but they carry all types of food for different ethnics group. They always have enough registers open and great customer service. I mainly come here to buy seafood, in particular if I want live crabs. I have never had a bad experience here and I will continue to patronize them as needed. read more

Bad customer service!! we were waiting to get shrimp we were in line for about 30 minutes. only one staff member was there taking customers order to see what they wanted to get. we kindly asked a staff then we didn't see a change so i went ahead and spoke to the Manager to see if they can get more people to help his response was "i would try to see what i can do about it" there was about 15 people waiting to get fish or an other sea food. This place was the only thing opened at 9:30 on a Thursday night. Being an out of towner I had no idea what Fiesta Mart was as far as store. It's a grocery store with some of everything and anything you need. Loved this place so much I went back before I went back to Georgia. They has some of everything. The produce was beautiful. Mangos were huge. They sell loose beans and peas in bulk. Get as much as you want. They have a humongous meat section. Off the chain anything you want or need. I was just really impressed with this place and wish we had something similar in Georgia. read more

Impressive wide selection of all kinds of ethnic foods and affordable prices. Noticed some of the raspberries/blackberries in the refrigerated produce area could be fresher at times, but granted that's tough for supermarkets as berries don't last that long. First time I've been to a Fiesta Mart despite seeing them all around Houston....this location is one of the nicer ones. read more

Very interesting supermarket. As you probably deduced from the name, their is a Hispanic influence on the store. I never had bad customer service here, nor had a bad experience here outside of the freshness of a meat purchase once. All in all, if you are looking for a specialty item for the Hispanic community, I am certain you would more than likely find it here. Their advertisement is definitely worth browsing because sometimes they have really good deals on common items. The butcher section at fiesta's mart has bad customer service we waited 5 minutes to get some service when there was no one but me and my daughter waiting and there was 3 workers and they saw us waiting but did not once came up to us. So I would not recommend. read more

13 bags for 14 items! I believe we can do better than this. It not only is expensive for your business but it is also harmful to the environment. I usually grab my reusable bags but every now and then it is a last minute trip for a few items like today. Please let your employees know this is unacceptable. Fiesta Mart invited us in with their vibrant and bold red letters that jump out "Fiesta". Fiesta is a great big grocery store with lots of spanish mexican goods. Everything is offered here, fresh produce, snacks, drinks, meat, everything. It is massive and super clean, the workers are quick and very kind. It's a Fiesta. There are a couple of pluses for this location such as their produce section which has a large array of veggies that most grocers will either only sell bagged or frozen. The other plus is their dairy where I can find milk that isn't homogenized or ultra-pasteurized for when we want to try to make some cheese. The negatives are their bakery section is smaller than at other Fiesta I have been to, their carts are on the small side, and their employees at checkout can be rude compared to other grocery stores. read more

I love Fiesta markets. I grew up shopping in them and am obsessed with their empanadas. I want to make it clear that while the name says "Fiesta" they are limited to Latin foods. They have a wide variety of most cuisines including Asian and Indian. If you are on the hunt for that off the grid ingredient that your Pinterest recipe calls for than you probably wanna check fiesta first. The only reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their meat selection and customer service in the meat department. They do not have barbacoa meat (beef cheek) which is a Mexican staple (especially on weekends with menudo) AND they didn't know what kind of meat was used for chicharrones (another Mexican staple). I've never reviewed a grocery store before, but I have to tell you about the amazing service we received from the cashier. Not only did she make sure we got all of the coupons that Fiesta offered, but she had a stack of coupons she had clipped from The Chronicle. After ringing up all of our items, and there were a lot , she remembered what we bought that she had coupons for, and scanned her coupons for us. Have never seen that before. Fiesta isn't that close to my house, but when we are in the area we stop in to see what they have. This store is very organized. I love how they have their internation aisles! Meats and produces are pretty well priced. They even have Red Mango yogurt inside but I've never seen anyone order it. Their Caribou iced coffee isn't too bad there either. Overall, I would shop here more often if it was near the house. read more

Management here is terrible! My girlfriend and I visited the grocery store the other day and could not bare to notice how the managers up front didn't even bother trying to help some of their employees. This isn't the first time we've noticed this situation but it bothers me the most when a high end employee such as a front end manager is talking away with another manager while the customer is bagging their own items, it is impeccable. I would acknowledge one thing from my trip to this grocery store the young cashier that was helping us bag our items and apologizing for something that wasn't his fault deserves a big round of applause. As for the front end management, it was terrible. If I was able to give zero stars I would but for that one kind cashier I will acknowledge my pride and accept his hard work and kind heart to give this place two stars only because of that young man. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. THEY INTENTIONALLY SOLD ME BAD FOOD AND THE MANAGER DIDNT EVEN DENY IT. They sold me Valentine's chocolate from last year, and when I bit into it it was so hard it almost broke my teeth. I realize its not technically expired, but it's obviously been sitting in receiving for a year, through all of the Texas seasons.. And instead of marking it down last year and selling it fresh they saved it for you to pay full price the next year.. Stale, rotten chocolate! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! Such a great selection of international foods at great prices. The fresh produce and fruit section is huge. Always organized and well stocked. Clean aisles. Super helpful staff. Today had them boil our lobsters ( our first time to try this) to save time and not have to do all that clean up at home. Best idea ever. I shop at this fiesta every week. I have a very big complaint about their bakery dept./ 9 out of 10 times, what I bought is staled. Just now I bought 9 things and everyone of them were staled. I'm yelping about it now because I had enough. Their selections are getting less and less. Like cereal, lunchmeat at the Deli dept, laundry soap, etc. I bought some pork tamales that stunk so bad I had to throw them out. HEB here I come! read more
