So, instead of calling the customer service and reporting another failed curbside pick up, I'll leave a review here. We have been coming to this location for years and years. Until 2 years ago, we shopped in the store. Because of the heavy crowds, we changed to curbside pickup. I would say that 50% of our orders have been missing items. When that happens, we'd call customer service and they'd credit our account. Also, the quality of the fruits and vegetables our shopper picked out seem to always be the worst looking. Strawberries and grapes always have a handful that are mushy. Again, called the customer service to advise what type of quality we've been receiving and it's now hit and miss. Our last order, we asked for Deli Mesquite Ham. The label on the "ham" said Deli Mesquite Ham. However, upon opening it, we had turkey instead. Looked like it was packed 3-4 days prior. Just beware as this location's curbside team is TERRIBLE. read more

Got nailed several times with your deceptive signs at your Mason Road, katy location. Right As you enter the entrance at the produce department to the front and on the right is a large sign that reads 97Cents per pound above the organic grapes, but it doesnt say what for. I foolishy thought I was getting a good deal. It turns out the 97Cents per pound is for something on the opposite side of the counter.Found out later that the small label at the bottom of the discplay reads about $3.48 per pound. I bought these 2 days ago and the sign is still up! Also be very careful with their yellow coupons. I bought some Kind Bars and coupon reads buy one get one free, cost was about $3.50 for a box of four. Turns out that the coupon was good for only certain flavors. read more

This HEB never has anything we need in stock. Everything from the pre packaged salads, ready made sushi, or even some of the drinks we routinely try to get. What is going on here? Considering it's right in the middle of several neighborhoods and always busy full of people, you would think they would keep their inventory stocked. read more

Don't get a-heb of yourself. It's time to pump some gas in Katy (don't think dirty thoughts, I mean the city of Katy), and this is as good a place as any. It's a cheap gas station in Katy which is attached to the mega grocery store, Texas' own HEB. I come here often, so to speak, and they have a good price on gas, which is often cheaper than a lot of the other ones in Katy. So we definitely appreciate it being here and are even able to get gas here late at night. read more

I had so much trouble the last time I tried to get a delivery order from here. There is a review on here for that. But I decided to give them another try. This is the first delivery order I made since the last one. And guess what they blew it again, They are incapable of professionalism or courtesy to customers. The order was over an hour late so I called the store. They said favor delivered the order. They didn't. They said favor had a picture and my door was black and had my apt number on the side. My door is brown and the number is not on the side of the door. It is above the door. I sent the mgr a picture of my door and asked him to send me the pic favor has. He said favor would not send it to them , to HEB. . Favor is part of HEB so that makes no sense. The mng was very rude and spoke over me and kept insisting that the groceries were delivered to my door though they were not. They reshoped the items and delivered them 3 and a half hours late. He actually asked me, "what would you do if I didn't reshop the items for you?" I said, "Take you to small claims court and get my money back and have you pay the fine for the court." I will never shop at or get deliveries from HEB again. It's Krogers and Whole Food deliveries for me from now on. read more

HEB AT Pin Oak in Katy, Texas, was my favorite HEB for many years. The store is always clean, and the personnel is very friendly, but in the past year, there has been a big downfall if you go to buy groceries Monday to Friday, many shelves are out of food, and it's tough to find the products you need to complete your list. I have spoken with some people working there and have been told that it is even hard for them to fill out delivery or pick up requests because of the lack of products. It seems they only have full shelves during the weekend; however, many of us go to buy groceries during the week. Definitely, I will change to another location, or I will start going to Kroger. read more

I visited the store at 1621 Mason Rd in Katy, Tx, late evening on Wed, 4/10. A mananger by the name of Crystal was not at all helpful with a coupon I scanned into my app. The coupon was for 20% off trash bags, it wasn't showing on my app at checkout and she told me it was too soon since I had scanned it. She actually told me I'd need to save my receipt and come back. I asked for a manager and she said "I am the manager", while smiling. I told her I wanted another manager, that I was done with her. I cannot believe that Crystal is a manager! Like this cannot be true. Are app scanned coupons supposed to be used on the next visit? She should have corrected it like the other manager. She should NOT be a manager! read more

Beware of the manager Monica. It seems her job is scam people out of their money. When my items wrang up different from the shelf tag she removed the tags and said I saw something else. This HEB location is the worst in Katy and Monica is one of the reasons. She saved the store $2.00 so I could go to a real store and buy the same items. Tell all your friends to ask which manager is working before shopping and take pictures of shelf tags. read more

This place is wild! There is a too much going on and it's always overcrowded. I notice they don't carry large selections on various brands, except for alcohol. Save the headache and go to Kroger instead. read more

Giant HEB! It has everything and is super easy to navigate. Lines move very quick and it takes about 5 minutes when I know what I'm looking for to get in and out. They have so much to look at and browse too. read more

Horrible place. Cashier required a price check on a known product. Bagger states it may take up to 10 minutes. Cashier states you can pay for your current products now and when the bagger returns, pay for the product when he returns. Pay for all when returns. This persons rolls eyes encouraging people in line to be upset. Publicly attempting to shame their customer even though the poor system made some type of mistake. We just left - HEB can keep their products and poor service. Supporting poor establishments whether you are a customer or working in the terrible conditions only encourages HEBs poor management. Though we will never return, supporting this abuse will not enforce change for the future. read more

The Mason Rd. location of H-E-B is my favorite by far. I love H-E-B itself, but other locations are terrible. This one is very clean, always well stocked, all staff is nice, and their produce is delicious. There is really not much I can say about a grocery store, but I can give you a recommendation: if you are looking for Walmart prices in a store with Kroger's cleanliness, then you need to visit this H-E-B. This afternoon I went to HEB in Mason to buy wine for my customer. I saw two female employees who was just chatting, as they paused I ask for assistance to find a pitcular wine. I tried to show one of the ladies the wine on my list. She shouted at me " read it to me, you can read"? I this was rude and abusive! As a customer I would say this lady does not need to employed where she come in contact with HEB's customers. She is an embarrassment to a great company like HEB! read more

I don't shop here as often as I should but any experience here is amazing. The day that I went there were samples everywhere! This helps if you are shipping hungry as it will prevent you from buying items that you don't really need.. Sometime the samples do there job and you end up buying that particular product based on this experience. Another thing I found out is if you buy items at their seafood counter, they can prepare them for you. What other store does that?I don't find their prices to be off base compared to other stores that I have shopped at. Just like some of the other local grocery stores, they have their own brands that cost a little less than the brand name items. You need to try them out for yourself to see if you like them. This store is always under stocked. Every time I shop here there are several items that haven't been restocked. The produce is terrible. Most all of the fruit purchased here is rotten. This grapefruit was organic and expensive. 3of 4 were like this. read more

I went here on a Friday night to buy some groceries for a tailgate we had on a Saturday. Unfortunately we just missed the hours for the deli and had to come back Saturday morning to get the cold cuts we wanted. This HEB has been excellent compared to other local Katy grocery stores. Although, lately it seems this store has declined. Oddly enough, the notable decline occurred the same time a new HEB opened in old Katy at Pin Oak. Could it be that some of the key management relocated to the new store? These shelves are not managed as well: the pod coffee section is almost nonexistent now, lots of holes, expired yogurt in the dairy section, the bread section is often bare... The service at the registers is fast and just about nothing else. We had an HEB gift card that had been giving us trouble at the scanner. We let the checker know that at the register, but he ignored us and had us swipe it futilely about five times before he took it and entered the numbers manually. Manager's approval is required to process this transaction - again, we'd already been through this and had told the checker at the start of the transaction. The manager arrived and we were finished checking out. But neither the checker nor the manager made eye contact with us or thanked us for our business. This is the third HEB in the Katy area we tried with the same gift card, and honestly, I'm glad the gift card is finished. We've had good visits to HEB elsewhere, but here, not really. We'll keep looking for a store that values our business and greets us with a smile. read more

I have been shopping at HEB Mason Rd. for the fantastic produce they offer on a consistent basis. All the produce is always fresh and top quality, and prices are cheaper than other grocers. They do a great job of offering lots of different produce items, and the produce displays are well kept and full. Especially like all the salad to go offerings. Crude, crass and pain in tne _ _s managers. I have never experienced such bad management than I have at this store and other Heb's. Talk about a store that got too big too fast and forget there roots. Example 1. I wanted five pounds of craw fish. My son was home from Iraq for two week leave. Went to the Fry road store and the sign said craw fish 2.49 a pound. They always have a tub in the isle with them. This was a Saturday, no tub. Asked a counter person person for five pounds and was told that they did have some in the back but, I will have to go in the back and pick through the dead ones. I asked him if he was kidding? He said no. You want a customer to go behind the counter and serve himself. Told the store manager what the fish dept counter person said and he just laughed. Example 2 My wife has problems walking so she uses the electric carts. Every time we go to the Mason store they are not plugged in and invariably die in the middle of the store. Now she is stuck in the middle of the isle people are trying to get things from the shelves and giving her bad looks like she wants to be stuck. Four times I had to go and find a cart that is charged enough for her to finish shopping. I told the store manager and I was told that she came in the other door and they were charged and have a nice day. I will be a Randall's, Kroger, now Whole Foods customer from now on. read more

I go here when Im hungry..lol. They have LOTS of samples of food . I usually go on the weekend. Really I like this place because of the prices, used to go to Kroger but its pretty expensive there. This HEB is really clean and the pple are very nice. They have a GREAT selection of just about everything. HEB brand is just as good as the name brand, except mac n cheese( I think that goes for any off brand mac n cheese) stick with Kraft! read more
