A quick trip in to get a new bed for our arrival this week. The selection was good. There are other places for such standard equipment, but we were short on time so this was a very quick trip in and out. For a change, we did not have to deal with a long line because it was Monday afternoon. The system for cashing out has always been one that does not meet the expectation. I was not really convinced help was on the way, but I was hopeful and waited. Then another employee, who was literally in the middle of stocking items, saw me and asked if I needed help. He read my mind! Even though he was busy stocking and didn't have to stop what he was doing, he took the time to help me. He even went to the back to retrieve the headphones for me. They make the handbags hard to ignore since it's the first thing you see when you walk in. This Kate Spade handbag was PERFECT for fall and only cost me $70, I couldn't say no! To be perfectly frank, I believe the purchase was outside the 30 day refund policy. For that reason alone, I was willing to take a lesser amount as a store credit. That said, the shift manager, I encountered, wouldn't engage at any level. She stated that returns at this high of an amount ($49.99), wouldn't normally be considered full stop. Having worked retail for over 30 years and engaged with this store for the last 5-8 yrs I can assure you, she had no reason to react in the manner I experienced. After reading your online reviews, it's obvious this policy and perhaps even your inventory system has changed. If so, I would encourage work arounds that address the lack of transparency and most assuredly revisiting the training opportunity of customer relations within this location. I will attempt to return elsewhere as I believe the return to be dated well beyond the 30 day window. Perhaps another location would prefer the repeat business. Trip 4: Here is your prescription for 30 days. I can't give you 90 days because the doctor didn't write a prescription for that. Trip 5: Oh nevermind, the doctor did write a prescription for 90 days. That will be 600 dolllars. Oh you have a GoodRx code? Nevermind 30 dollars. Eventually I got what I needed, but CVS employees did not seem to care about how much I'd need to pay until visit 5, and completely did not see a prescription on at least 2 visits. One star. The store is great however. Well stocked. Fairly priced. Good selection of candy, etc. The pharmacy? Meh.
