I was so surprised when I walked through the doors at this Walmart, first I was greeted by Jack, only because I came though the wrong door super friendly nice smile. I realized as I walked through the store to the garden center that everything was so nice!!! As I was looking around I heard a very voice say may I help you? Does Walmart go out of their way to find the rudest people to work for them? I understand it's not the most glorious job, but geeze...is there really a need drag everyone down with you? Cheryl and Tessa at the customer service desk are two prime examples of this. They seriously need an attitude adjustment. I went to return a camping set bundle that I bought online. It was 5 items, shipped in 3 separate shipments. I only had 1 packing slip with the order on it. Apparently, having the order number is not good enough for online returns. Cheryl explained (in her crappy attitude) that I had to start the return process online. OK fine...lame Walmart policy. So I got out of line and began the return process on my phone. Got back in line and a new customer service employee comes to help Cheryl. "Yes! I won't have to deal with that old hag Cheryl". Well, Tessa was not any better. In the camping set I was returning, there was 1 tent, 2 air mattresses, and 2 camping chairs. Tessa asked when we received the item. I didn't remember, but the online invoice stated that we had until October 1 to return it. I showed her that, but she said "well, you only have 15 days to return air mattresses". I then asked her to show me the written policy of where that's stated. She points at one of her co-workers and said to "ask him". Thank goodness David stepped in. For one reason or another, the store policy and online policy don't match up for air mattress returns. But, nobody was able to show me where this 15 day policy exists. Here's a note for you Walmart...if you really have such a policy, it should be stated clearly with the rest of the return policy. Even your employees are confused about it. Anyway, Tessa had an even worse attitude than Cheryl. She kept on telling me that I could not return the air mattress even though she never confirmed if it was past the 15 day mark. Again, thank goodness David came and explained it was okay to return it. Hey Walmart, get more employees like David, and less like Tessa and Cheryl. Your business model may be to pass on low cost savings to your customers, but there's no need to pass on low quality humans to your customers! read more

Went here to pick up fallout 4 with my roommate and we went to the electronics section to get the game. It was locked and we asked the sales rep if we could get it open and his manager was a total dick and said no come back tomorrow we lock up electronics at 12 (it was only 12:05) this place totally reinforced why I hate walmart, I will be making my purchases elsewhere now. read more

It's a smaller sized Wal-Mart so they don't have everything a huge Wal-Mart has. They do have groceries though.

I like the selection of grocery items at this Wal-Mart. Their fruits/vegetables stay fresh for a good amount of time. The prices are great on most things. I like that I can buy my food and shop for other household items at the same store. read more

This is a long awaited review in the making. What can I say about this Walmart that isn't already known to all everett locals...the only reason you come here is because of convenience. This store used to be 24 hours before the Everett mall way opened (a little newer, but definitely the lesser of the 2 evils) if your looking for customer service don't bother with these clerks their constantly on edge because of the high theft so I'm their eyes everyone is a suspect. The mission is to get rid of you as fast as they can (which could be a good thing or a bad thing) the customer service line is always packed, with the wait times averaging from 10-20mins ( no exaggeration) every time I come here it's an issue and keep in mind 92% of the time is just for money orders, the store is so messy and dirty I wouldn't shop there if they paid me, but it's Walmart what do you expect right? Aisles are wide and the store is clean. The food selection is a bit short, but everything else is well-stocked. I waited about 5-10 minutes in the check-out line, so they could have had more people there. I like the DVD and Blu-ray selections and quantities, though I still hate the "dig through to find the movie you want" bin. read more

Worst Wal-Mart I've been to in a long time it's dirty and messy and they have broken items on the shelves..you can never find someone to help you and when you do they are rude or don't know...also getting a hold of management is a pain I wouldn't come here even if it was the closest! This Walmart is great! Although it is always packed (like all Walmarts) the staff is always very polite. I enjoy Walmart because of their rock bottom prices and I stop in here at least once a week because of that! You always find the best deals here and they always have items in-stock! I usually come in, grab a few things, and go to the self checkout. This usually takes about 8 minutes. I would average each customer's shopping trip to 15 minutes. Although Walmart is always crowded they have a nice way of politely moving people along. Thank you for your service and I will see you next time! read more

Went in the other day against my better judgement. But at 5 am where else can you go. I had a date that evening and wanted to pick some new clothing out. Since my date was right after work i would have no time to shop but right now. So i went in expecting the worst but it was very pleasant. The store was nearly empty, and Nicole working in the women's clothing section was super helpful! She not only showed me where everything was but she helped me pick some stuff out and gave me an honest opinion about how things went together. The clothes all looked great and everything was easy to see and find. I felt like i was in target not Walmart. It was a complete turn around from the norm there so early. I purchased two flower girl dresses on Walmart.com hoping that if one Was the wrong color I could return the other one. I went to the store to return the one that was the wrong color and they said I purchased from a third party vendor and I have to work with that vendor for the return. The clerk said that it should have shown on the receipt however when I click on the return policy on the online receipt it is blank. I can't return the dress at Walmart and I am very upset that I have to call this long distance number to find out about a return policy from this third party when I thought I was purchasing it from wallmart! low quality, low stoked and RUDE customer service. i called looking to see if they have a item in stock. the lady proceed to transfer 7 times after i asked her to just look herself because clearly no one was answering the department, then transferred me AGAIN without even letting me finish speaking. I am new to the area. I am happy to have a Walmart so close --previously I had to drive quite a distance, I am happy with the prices, which is why I shop at Walmart, but have also found the workers here at the Everett Mall Way store to be very helpful. The exit greeter (good bye-er?) is always friendly and personable. Sure, sometimes the lines are long -- but they are everywhere I shop also. Went in for socks and phone chargers. Not only did no one greet me when I arrived, I passed at least 6 employees and none of them even made eye contact with me, let alone greeted me or asked if they could help. Was I wearing my invisibility cloak? I was looking at phone chargers trying to figure out what I needed with a Walmart employee stocking the racks right next to me and he didn't look at me or offer to help. Visited the new Everett Mall Way store for the first time. The parking lot is better than the other Everett location, but yet again it was a miserable experience at a WM. There was not ONE Kindle in stock. The clerks were laughing and talking amongst themselves. I lost my patience and temper, and told them I was going to Fred Meyer and would never be back. Granted, I've never been a WM fan or supporter, but this cements it; it was a waste of time and bad experience. read more

Came in to buy groceries and one of the items was not scanning and the cashier pressed the button to get the manager. The manager came over and was not happy and I could tell right away. I was also using my Wic coupons and had the exact item pictured on the book guide and even the cashier was confused as to why it wasn't working. The cashier decided to call the manager again so he comes back and by this time he looked very upset and said "it is the item on the book but it's not scanning so there is nothing I can do about it" I then said "ok then forget about the milk I'm loosing 5 half gallons of soy milk which is fine". For some reason this made him even more upset but I wasn't going to sit there and argue about some milk. The cashier was clearly embarrassed about the whole situation. I'm a very patient person and kept telling him not to worry and then again another item where the barcode would not work. The cashier then again calls the manager but he would not come to assist the cashier. My husband was sitting in a bench with my baby and overheard the manager talking to another customer about me and how many times he had to come over to assist the cashier. He never actually helped the cashier with the last item and the cashier then decided to charge me a random price. Not only is it rude to leave the cashier hanging when he obviously needs help but to talk about a customer. I'm not even mad because things like this don't hurt my feelings but that manager needs better training and better costumer service. Next time I'm definitely taking my business somewhere else where I'm treated better and not talked about behind my back. read more

The following comments are related to Walmart tire purchase and service, in general and Walmart's Everett tire center in particular. My wife and I have had excellent service with Walmart's tire centers when out on the road. As an example, twice we were saved from being stranded in Wyoming because Walmart was open and fixed flats for us. Therefore we decided to try buying a set of tires "on line" and having them mounted at the Everett store. We did so in January, 2018 and had no trouble until November, 2018. One of the new tires went flat. I pumped it up and went back. Walmart's Everett tire center repaired the tire and remounted. We left the car at home and were out of town for a week. We returned and the tire was flat again. We took the tire back to Walmart and they reviewed and said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. They remounted it and the same tire went flat again in about 10 days. We took the tire back and requested a replacement. Walmart refused to replace the tire because they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. In spite of a warranty that promises to replace a tire if it is damaged or defective within a year of purchase, Walmart service said there was nothing wrong with it so no reason to replace. I explained what was happening to the Manager. He refused to do anything. We have no way of proving the tire is defective and so, must purchase a new tire. I would recommend Walmart's tire service for repair out in remote areas. It can be a life saver. I cannot recommend buying tires from Walmart because they do not honor their warranty policy; ie, all they have to do is say there is nothing wrong with the tire and you are without options other than buy a new tire. There are other dealers who sell that have given us the "benefit of doubt" when there was a problem with a tire. That is where we will buy our tires in the future, even if the same tires cost more. read more

While I take full responsibility for entering a wal mart in the first place....this last experience was an all time low...in the span of a 5 minute excursion.... I had a creep muttering dirty talk about my rear end under his breath (normal)....I was squashed up against the shelves as one of the workers came through with a cart (normal).... I waited in line forever (normal) for them to not be able to take my money....not normal.... after 3 registers switches and 2 mangers.... I just left. Another horrible Walmart in Everett for mens wear. Its always trashed and looks like a cyclone went through it, their selection is beyond poor and very limited unless you're a man with the build of a young lady and can wear Small/Petite or if you're 2XL or bigger. This is another example of the department manager sleeping on the job and not bothering to order stock as it should be. If you're looking for anything in a Medium, Large, or XL, you'd have better luck going to a thrift store than to this poor excuse for a department store. The store manager should try phoning a friend or asking a 5th grader for advice on what a department manager SHOULD be doing. Because they're all obviously clueless at this location. And someone should try actually CLEANING for a change instead of standing around and blabbing to each other. read more

So happy when they opened this 24 hr. Walmart near my home. Then disappointed by limited brand selections; shelves often empty. Late evening shopping is slowed down by aisles blocked off with huge stacks of boxes, often times blocking the items I need to get to. Check out lines are sometimes super long with 1 cashier. On a rare occasion a manager came up & pulled me from a long line & said "she can help you next", moving me to a line with 2 people in front of me. I wasn't acting impatient but I was in a big hurry. The customer at the register was using WIC (coupons ?) to pay and the cashier seemed to be having a tough time with the process. I stood there for 20+ minutes. The original line I was in would have checked me out by then. No one came to help this poor cashier, in the line I was moved to, to expedite things. After about 5 more minutes, I had no choice but to leave. I wasted my time gathering groceries only to have to abandon them at the end. I told the cashier so someone could put them away before the food thawed. I've gone back on rare occasion (they're the only grocer open after 11 pm near my home) and nothing has changed. 2 cashiers, 20 people in line! They are now no longer open 24 hours! That's ok, rather shop at Winco. Farther to drive but good prices, (sometimes lower than Walmart), better selection, much better customer service and food is super fresh. read more
