Horrible experience. The check out lane that we went apparently had the card reader machine replaced, but it wasn't working still. We were planning on paying with a card, that had plenty of money in the account. The cashier not assistant manager, a lady just standing there didn't offer to move us to another register, instead we had to be embarrassed and try to find enough cash for our order. random stuff is locked for no reason, like laundry detergent right next to an aisle full of unlocked detergent. very dumb. there's like 5 self checkout lanes. needs way more. completely disorganized. limited selections. did not have fair life milk. significantly worse than the Walmart in my previous town, Houghton Michigan. doesn't really make sense when you consider that town has a population of 7000 and Everett has a population of 110k. I normally don't leave reviews, but today the experience I had completely floored me. Today I went into this Walmart with my 3 year old. As usual, we walk through the toy aisle and we see a clearance bouncy house. It has a big yellow sticker on it that says clearance for $16 and some change. Walmart tends to be known for a lot of hidden clearance so I didn't think much of it but I did double check to see if there was any other ones around to compare. This was the last one around so I put it in my cart and grabbed the rest of what I needed. I go up to checkout and ask the lady how her day was and she looks at me and ignores me. She starts scanning my items and the bounce house rings up at $230. I showed her the clearance sticker and she immediately says absolutely not and rips the sticker into pieces in front of me and my daughter. I was disappointed but I told her that was okay, not a problem and that I would like to give it back and not purchase it. She responds with "fine" and goes to take it out of my cart. She then says it is too heavy and she cannot lift it and starts to make a scene about not being able to lift it. The nice customer behind me offers to help pull it out of the cart and comes to assist with it. She calls for a manager with codes to come over to void the item off my transaction. The new lady comes over and jokingly asks the employee if shes causing trouble over here. The cashier points her finger at me and yells "NO! SHE is! I was shocked. I quietly responded saying that i didn't do anything, the item just had a clearance tag on it that she said was incorrect and won't honor. The cashier says she wasn't accusing me of anything and I just said "yeah, right" and continued to grab my stuff to try to leave. She then starts to tell the customer behind me that I was crazy for thinking I was going to get this $230 item for $16 and causing a whole scene about it. The customer says the item was just mismarked, she didn't do anything, leave her alone. I responded and said "normally stores honor prices that are mismarked. I'm sure if you had really wanted to then you could have honored it" and I start to walk out the door. She yells out the door "NO we won't honor that, that would be ridiculous!" and then I heard her continue to bad mouth me to the customer behind me about it. I am so disappointed in this experience, and i will absolutely not be returning. I will be letting everyone I know to not come here. I have never been so mortified over a store experience and I can't believe my daughter had to witness this. I hope that nobody else has to experience a situation like this. I had no issue with just giving the item back because it wasn't a price i wanted to pay, that should not have been an issue at all. read more

I don't understand what it is about walmart and only having one checkout lane open. This Walmart is always overcrowded not only in the checkout section but all throughout the store. If you need assistance you had better plan to wait or forget that idea because the staff are usually nowhere to be seen. I try to avoid this store because getting my items is hard enough (feeling like I'm getting run over by every Tom Dick and Harry that also needed groceries) but then spending 30-40 minutes in line waiting to get checked out is ridiculous. read more

This rating is for the PHARMACY ONLY. This pharmacy's staff is excellent. I recently transferred all my prescriptions to Walmart because we travel, and it is hard to get refills from other pharmacies on the road. I can get them anywhere in the US. But this pharmacy stands out. The pharmacists always take time out to answer my questions and the rest of the staff is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this pharmacy. The rest of the store is somewhat chaotic, very understaffed and unorganized. Sometimes when I ask for help, I get it and other times, I don't. The electronics area is busy, and the staff tends to visit with people, so I've always had to wait for quite a while to get help. Also, they allow people with groceries only (not electronics) to check out there which bogs down those who *must* check out there. Almost everything is under lock and key and not all the associates have the keys. read more

4 times in the past 3 months, I have had my walk in the parking lot interrupted by cops. I usually walk through the back, and the pass through in the fence in the parking lot. However, 4 times I personally saw, (and I've heard of many others),cops had the back parking lot blocked with lights flashing and people being arrested. Unfortunately it's the closest store to my house, so I keep hoping it'll get better... The back is ALWAYS filthy. Bums have mattresses in between the bushes at the back and the fence. I think they stay there and go through the apartments trash on the other side of the fence, then just dump what they don't want on the ground. As for the cashiers, they've never been trained properly. They don't know codes for anything in their register such as culligan water refills, vegetables, fruit, etc... And it always takes long while they try to figure it out, and I've been shushed saying, "no- it's not that fruit or no it's a refill, I'm not buying the jug, or no their were no stickers on ANY of the veggies," etc. then they have to call managers or customer service over. Speaking of customer service, I have tried to pay both electric and water here. I've also sent and received money through money gram. It's always frustrating because most of the employees say they are new, continuously, and don't know how to do their job. They have to call managers or other employees over to help all the while the line continues to grow. The photo kiosk has only had 8 by 10 paper for TWO months and they simply say, "it was ordered long ago... We don't know what's going on." I had to stop my teenagers from buying food from there if I am not with them. They have mark down food cases and some of the food was expired! Also, beware of the cashiers. Even if you tell them, "some of these are markdowns," they will scan the wrong codes almost every time! The worse part overall though is the drug activity and constant police involvement in the back. I've been to many wal marts in many different states and this one is by far the absolute worst. read more

Manager working the front lanes at 1AM today was so rude. Didn't catch her name but she just had 0 interest in helping me find what I needed. She told me where she thought my item would be and walked away WHILE I was still talking to her and telling her that I had already checked that location. The girl that came to help when I pressed the call box was super nice though and walked around the entire store (actually the entire store) with me until we found what I was looking for. The inside just looked trashed.. At 1AM.. Do they zone at Walmart? Probably not.. Three stars because I already expect horrible service from Walmart, but the girl who ended up helping me bumped it up! read more

This Walmart is always trashed on the inside. Half empty shelves... or broken or half eaten food on the shelves too. The staff are non-existent on the sales floor. I only come here if I need to, and when I do, I keep my fingers crossed they happen to have in stock what I am there for. read more

It's new, it's scaled down and it is not a mess. yet. Parking is not an issue. They do not have every single thing that a normal sized Wal Mart would have. They do have a pretty decent sized food section, however. Customer service has never been an issue for me at this location, if anything they are actually friendly. GASP. read more

Been here twice. First time only one register open, chose to walk out since the line was too long (even the self checkout). Second time was even more ridiculous. Probably 6-7pm...Two registers were open, LONG lines including self checkout. We waited on one of the registers since there were only 3 customers with full carts on one line..Her cashier number was on, was taking her sweet time with her current customer (probably to waste time till her shift was up so she doesn't have to stay past)...and then when she was done she looked up (finally) and told the whole line "i'm closed, my light is off, see." IT WAS JUST ON. SHE JUST TURNED IT OFF. We were already in line a long time because she was taking her time with the one customer (had a full cart too with clothes). I looked behind me, more than 6 other customers with FULL carts. Instead of chatting maybe she should have cut off the line BEFORE her shift was up! We all had to leave. Walmart complains about the lack of sales...PLEASE. Corporate, HAVE YOUR EMPLOYEES HOP ON THE REGISTER TO CUT DOWN THE LINES. Let me preference this by saying that I have a very limited experiences with Wal-mart. Today, reminded me of why I do not shop at Wal-mart. I lost 45 minutes of my life to customer service. The most important take-away from this experience is that the management is sorely lacking. After 45 minutes of discussing and waiting for the store manager to come to the front of the store to talk to me, I left in disgust. It was definitely not the fault of the regular employees, but the chicken-shit manager named "Erude," who failed to come and speak with me. The store employees paged him 4 separate times. Meanwhile, I had to listen to another customer, maskless, loudly ranting and raving for 45 minutes about his "cash pick-up." I even reached out and spoke to Wal-mart corporate office while I was there, and oddly, they did not seem bothered in the least that they had a store manager who refused to come to customer service after 4 store pages and 45 minutes. read more

This is the worst Walmart i have ever been to and I've been to the one in LA! Their vegan options are very limited compared to other Walmart's I have been to. Every time i go they're out of stock for everything and the shelves are all bare, and I go during various days out of the week. Last month I was looking for a plain spiral notebook and found 3 different aisles of the store where they had office supplies and one area was shoved in the corner of the Halloween aisle??? Side note they had no spiral notebooks at all in either of the aisles. Furthermore, every time I try and look for something I use the app and the app says it's in stock but it never is so they definitely don't update their product number on the app or website. One thing i can say is however I have never had a bad interaction with the employees, I'm guessing it's just the management that sucks or doesn't know how to do their job when ordering more product in a timely manner. read more

Really confused. Supposedly this Walmart location is open 24 hours the website says it is as does the open every other resource I could find. They didn't night this Wednesday morning I was trying to get to Walmart to buy some things early in the morning I checked at 4 o'clock was told by very rude employee yes outfront that the store was closed. I thought that strange considering it's a 24 hour supercenter came back an hour later told by more very rude smoking employees in front of the store smoking that the store was closed! I like that this Wal-Mart has a big grocery area and has more choices and products than the Wal-Mart on hwy 99. But some of the cashiers are soooooo slow! The lines can get super long! And sometimes it's hard to find an associate to help you when you have a question. read more
