This particular Pharmacy has a lot of room for improvement. I moved from California to Washington state. I came to this Walgreens store in person to show all of my paperwork so my doctor could send a one time prescription (for a controlled substance) while I waited to see my new doctor locally. Everything was approved and they received the prescription faxed to them. I tracked the progress through the app. When the app continued to show the status as "in review" for approximately 4 business days. I called the store to get more details on the status. I spoke to a friendly pharmacy technician who let me know that my medication would be ready in 2 more days. 2 he's later, the status then showed as " pending insurance review". I called the store to let them know that if for whatever reason my new insurance is not processing, I would simply pay cash. The technician said that I should wait until after 2:00 p.m. and the medications would be ready. I waited an hour beyond that time just to be sure, then went to the pharmacy to pick it up. I was greeted by an unfriendly technician who explained that she still needed to contact my doctor to get approval to transfer the prescription from California to Washington state. Nobody had called me to tell me they needed more information from my physician in California. I explained to the pharmacy technician that all of that had previously been taken care of, but she said she needed more proof. I provided the necessary information, then had to stay in the waiting area for an extra hour for the medication to be prepared. This was a very disappointing experience. read more

Although this particular location seems cursed by understaffing in the pharmacy department, generally everyone who works here is friendly and works hard to assist you. Buyer beware- if you have a vaccination appointment at this location, you might not be seen on time, so plan accordingly. Walgreens in general has been getting some pretty bad press lately and now I know why!! This location in particular has always had the absolute worst customer service. These people are rude and unprofessional and their behavior is unacceptable. The store is dirty especially behind the pharmacy counter. They do not have any type of customer service skills. Also this location and apparently the rest of the locations in Everett, no longer have any weekend hours, and now close their doors at 6 PM. How are working normal people supposed to pick up their medication? When I went inside to address the fact that the car in front of me was served, after waiting a half an hour in the line, and when I pulled up to the window the shade was drawn indicating the pharmacy was closed. When I went inside and asked if I could please have my medication so that I could sleep tonight, the pharmacist was extremely rude and literally physically shoved me out of the way to leave. His words to me were "well you can go ahead and call corporate, because we have to leave." What the hell Walgreen's? I guess you don't like peoples money or business! I've read that you employ and back pharmacists who refuse to dispense medically prescribed medication's based on Their religious beliefs! What the hell kind of business model is that? How is it a pharmacists place to determine the appropriateness of medical care prescribed by a licensed qualified physician? A pharmacist's role is to dispense medication and educate patients, and be a double check for doctors orders for safety. Not to impose their own religious beliefs on patient care!! And you people back and still employ these unethical, unprofessional people! Shame on you! I've been wanting to transfer my business for a few weeks now just based on that, but after this experience at your store, I truly hope that your entire corporation fails. read more

The pharmacy part of this place is the worst I have experienced so far. I have had terrible experiences with their customer service at the pharmacy before and wanted to give them another chance. The staff at the drive through window and the pharmacist I spoke with in person were beyond rude. After waiting for 45 minutes in line, they refused to refill a prescription because they closed the safe early (before closing) and they would also not let me transfer the prescription to another pharmacy. read more

Absolutely terrible experience with the pharmacy. I had an appointment for some vaccinations. They call me to tell me that they are closing early and to call them back. I was on hold for over 2 hours and never spoke to a pharmacist. I went there in person and never once saw a pharmacist answer the phone. Other customers mentioned being on hold for hours and never getting though. This is unacceptable -- don't ask me to call back and then never answer your phone. I've been coming to the pharmacy for my medicine since last year. The staff are fast, efficient, and really care. When I've had questions or concerns they take their time with me until I'm happy. They also contacted the hospital with my friend's prescriptions, so she'd get the right meds at the correct doses. She was inpatient and wouldn't have gotten better without their help. I really enjoy their bubbly happy customer service. They're my friends now. I won't go anywhere else. read more

I visit this location at least a couple of times a week. It's a convenient place to pick up snacks or a cold drink, small household items I don't need in bulk, or want to browse the cosmetics isle. They have recently expanded their cosmetics isle and added a few new and really cool brands. There's usually a little sale section for cosmetics in the back where you can pick up some good beauty deals. I wish the Pharmacy was still open 24 hours, it was so convenient. There is still a drive-through window for the pharmacy but the service is very slow inside and out. This location is sketchy after dark, but I shop there at all hours and I've never had any issues in the store or the parking lot. The staff has always been helpful when I needed it and never aggressive when I just shopped on my own. read more

NEGATIVE 5 stars!! The absolute worst!!! Doesn't matter which department its all bad. I have to say I dread going here and have to switch my pharmacy. Ive been coming here for two years and it seems worse every time. Constantly turning over staff, training in the pharmacy, lost medications, misplaced meds, very limited English in the pharmacy staff. They cant find my medication although they say they know it was filled! WHAAAATT?!?! Unacceptable!!!! Now tell me to come back later after Ive been at the drive through for 20 minutes before my turn and another 15 while they try to locate it! I came back and they accused me of already getting it! How is it that this isnt regulated by someone? Where are medications going?? Then they said my insurance wont authorize another one so soon no kidding!!! I had to call the insurance company and explain this incompetence. I went back to pharmacy and a different staff member says lost?? No its right here! I said thats the one just filled and she tried to tell me it was never lost and doesn't know what Im talking about and its been in the bin the whole time. I asked to talk to the other tech and that one refused to come to the window. Something crooked is going on with this place. Needs a good audit!! They have a really nice selection of nails and lashes and makeup, and I am never disappointed in that dept. Had odd staff though....some even ignore you even while ringing you up..! This is my local drugstore. While im not a huge fan of Walgreens to begin with (dont get me started about all of the times i have bought cosmetics from a walgreens that turned out to be old and turned my eyes redder than a hippie stoner), This particular location seems to be poppin' 24-7! I was there last night to get a gatorade and the parking lot was like more than half full at 9:30 at night. What kind of a person possibly needs to rush down to Walgreens at 9:30 at night to get their film developed? I came here on christmas because i needed band-aids and antiseptic. Seriously, i wouldnt have went out if it wasn't somewhat emergent (is that a word??) and the kid working complained and asked why people come to Walgreens on christmas, and complained how disgruntled he was that he had to work. Im sure he got time and a half or something, so i dont know what he was complaining about. Just watch out for the crack dealers and their customers (they creep me out)... Open 24Hours. If you enjoy seeing that you are the only person in the store other than 3 people behind Rx counter and a couple employees at front of store, then this is a great place to go. If you like being bewildered as the multiple people behind Rx counter at midnight can stand around talking and tell you an order called in 4 hours prior will take an additional 2-3hours to process(simple antibiotic), GREAT! For fast service, quick response-time, and organization, go about ANYWHERE ELSE when having your doctor call a medication in to a pharmacy. BTW, this has happened more than a few times.....yet since it's only 24HOUR Pharmacy around, I have just realized I should NOT be in a hurry and wait 24HOURS before actually going to pick an order up! read more

I give this place 4 stars during the day, 2 at night. Thats why 4 stars During the day its not a bad place to pick up cold meds, get the kid a candy bar. Its a normal place to shop. After dark its a whole different world, the later it gets the odder it becomes. The people change the setting. Twice in the past year this place was robbed for drugs.. I have been panhandled in the parking lot more than once. The " I have no money for gas" crowd." Heres a hint BEG FOR GAS AT A GAS STATION! Try to shop here when the sun is up. On September 27th, 2014 at approximately 12:30am, I went into the 24-hour Walgreens located at 6807 Evergreen Way, Everett, WA. With me I brought a plastic shopping bag that I received after making a purchase earlier in the day at my local Fred Meyer store. In this bag I carried an empty box of Neutrogena skincare, a full container of Neutrogena self-tanning spray and a small container of travel-sized hairspray. Accompanied with these items were two receipts from Target showing proof of purchase for all three of these items. I brought these items with me, along with the receipts, to help me locate the exact products again to purchase. After I did some shopping I collected my items and brought them to the register. At the register there was a young woman whose name I did not catch. She appeared to be in her mid-twenties, had dark brown hair, wore glasses and had a number of visible tattoos (including some on her chest). Before ringing up my purchase, she told me that she would need to see what was inside the bag I had brought in with me. I told her that was no problem at all and presented her with the receipts for the items inside the bag as well. At this point, she told me that because she 'only saw the boxed item in the bag when I came in', despite having proof of purchase for the other two items, she would not allow me to leave with them. I told her that I brought the receipts for all items in question with me into the store to avoid this situation exactly, and asked her how she could prove those items were not actually in the bag when I first walked in. She repeatedly declared that she didn't know and that she "doesn't need to know", apparently because her opinions about customers and their actions are completely valid despite having no evidence at all to support her claims. I tried asking her why she thought I would attempt to lie about those three items, which totaled less than $30 in cost, when I had brought nearly $75 in merchandise to the register to pay for. Her verbatim response was "I don't know why some customers choose to steal the things they do, but they do." At this point, she has openly (and very vocally) declared that I am actively stealing the items I came in with, and refused to allow me to purchase the items I came in to buy or to leave with the items already in my possession. In addition to being openly labeled a thief and absolutely mortified in front of every customer in the store at that time, I was forced to allow her to keep merchandise I had ALREADY PAID FOR, despite having provided her receipts showing when and where I had paid for those items prior. This entire situation does not revolve around the fact I am now out over $30 and that I had to leave and go to a different store to RE-PURCHASE the items she made me leave there - it centers around the basic treatment of your customers by your employees. I did nothing to deserve being so aggressively accused of theft by this employee.. I never raised my voice to her or behaved inappropriately, and I tried my best to explain to her through my emotions and my embarrassment that I was NOT stealing from the store and have never intended to do so. I myself I have worked in customer service/retail for over 11 years, and have never, ever come across an employee as rude as her. I am very sad that I now am no longer going to be shopping at Walgreens. I have been a customer since I was 16 (I am 28 now), and had intended to remain a life-long shopper. Unfortunately, because of this one employee and the interaction I had with her on Sept 27th, I will never be returning to another Walgreens ever again. I will also be encouraging others to do the same and will have no problem telling them why. It's hard for me to understand why Walgreens would employ someone like this, but I'm sure the reasons are there. It was my fault for expecting better. read more

This location opened In the early 2000's I don't recall what this space used to be. I came to Everett in 2005 and back then this store was immaculate, you could eat off the floors. Like any chain of stores there were new management changes and new employees and with the changes this store took a turn for the worse. In 2014 Walgreens lost its contract with Boeing employees for prescription medications which caused business to drop in sales, especially filled scripts, so when that went into affect March 2014 the pharmacy hours were reduced and that is why this locations' PHARMACY is no longer 24 hours. With that being said the store is 24/7 they NEVER close, every major holiday, all the time, their open. In the daytime this is a 4 out of 5 stars but as soon as the sun sets; stay the hell away from this place. It's infested with panhandlers, tweakers, dumpster divers, there's constantly drug deals going on with no discretion and btw if you come here after 8pm the restrooms are closed, so in conclusion, great retail store to shop; but unfortunately there's a lot of riff raft at night. read more

I go here regularly, like, every other day or so. It is the closest Walgreens to my house and I have a Walgreens card. Most of the time, I go in, grab my things, and head out with smiling faces and needs met. But for some reason, when I'm here during the day, I am followed around, asked if I need help finding anything, if I need help checking out, and whenever I claim that I am okay, I continue to be followed. It's frustrating when all I'm trying to do is go in and grab things I need only to be interrupted by employees who for whatever reason think I am stealing anything. I understand that Everett isn't known for its law abiding citizens, but when I'm in there as often as I am, I'd like to avoid being hassled. read more

I think that this is one of the WORST customer service stores I've ever been to, I unfortunatly I go there because of it being 24 hrs and up until recently I worked graveyard. However I've had people comment on the books I'm buying, have them talk bad about other customers right in front of me, I'm talking they went as far as saying she wanted to lick the perscription because she thought the lady at the drive thru was rude. ...she was saying this RIGHT in front of me, I couldnt believe it, what do you say to something like that. I've had to wait in line for up to 30 mins for prescriptions, the last time I went in and called it in 3 hr prior, she said it still wasnt ready, yet its a box that she slaps a stupid sticker on, theres not counting out pills, I mean really, its just rediculous. This is so not just a once or twice thing, this is a very consistant thing that they as a whole group of employees do, even the managers are rude. Save yourself some heart ache and go somewhere else.
