Jones did a great job with the hair wash and checking in on how I was doing. When I asked for more off, they were more than happy to oblige! They did exactly what I was asking for and did so with a high level of professionalism! Couldn't ask for a better price either! I'm a Platinum Beauty Club Member, and one of the perks of that is a free haircut. However, haircuts are only between $10-$15, including wash and finish (blow dry). If you're looking to support students starting in their cosmetology career that provides fantastic haircuts for an incredible price, make sure to check out EBC North Seattle!

I had one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had!!!…read more I came in specifically for highlights and lowlights and waited two weeks for an appointment with someone experienced. When I arrived, I was told the person I was scheduled with wasn't available and was instead given someone new. That alone felt incredibly unprofessional. The service took 3.5 hours, for highlights and low lights before she even started to dry my hair. I left with my hair wet and when it was finished, my roots were still visible and my hair honestly looked worse than when I came in. It was extremely disappointing, especially after waiting so long. What made the experience even worse was the interaction with the instructor, JACOB. He was condescending and dismissive when I raised concerns, which made an already frustrating situation feel even more uncomfortable. If someone is in a teaching or supervisory role, professionalism and respect should be a given and that was not my experience. This is now the second time I've had an issue with scheduling and being assigned someone other than who I booked with. That kind of disorganization is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend that this business improve both their scheduling practices and the level of oversight and professionalism from their instructors. I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and unhappy with my hair.

I had one of the worst salon experiences at Evergreen Beauty College in Renton. In the…read moreconsultation, both the student stylist and the instructor told me they could dye my hair brown. No limitations were mentioned. I spent five hours in the chair. My hair was bleached (they called it "lightening," which was misleading) so harshly that it became dry, brittle, and broke off in places. It was then dyed two separate times, further damaging and both times the color was completely wrong. I left with bright orange hair instead of the brown I requested. The instructor was extremely sassy and blamed me for the results throughout the process. The student and instructor argued openly in front of me about what to do. Behind the instructor's back, the student repeatedly said the instructor didn't know what she was talking about when it came to the color. I later learned from a professional who fixed my hair that Evergreen puts absolute beginners with no hands-on experience on the salon floor, but advertises them as if they are near the end of their program. The student who worked on my hair had never done this on a real person before -- only book work. This was not disclosed to me before the service. At the end, they charged me $90 for severely damaged hair in the wrong color. The service was unprofessional, misleading, and damaging. I am requesting a full refund and do not recommend Evergreen Beauty College to anyone who values the health of their hair or expects honest disclosure about who will be working on them. Edit: they left my bleach on for an hour and a half as well. No instructor or stylist in sight the whole time they left me at the heater.
