I'm very picky about my eyebrows and admittedly had doubts about a student's ability. My uncertainties were put to rest when Laney brought me back to the room. Her warm demeanor and smile immediately brought a comfort to the appointment. We ended up having a great conversation while she painlessly pulled the hair out of my face. (Seriously though, this was the least painful wax job I've ever had!) My eyebrows are really thick and it's not uncommon for them to end up slightly uneven after being waxed. Not this time! Laney did a beautiful job and truly put care and effort into her work. Though small parts of my face did still have wax on it when I got into the car (I didn't notice until later), I don't really have anything bad to say about my appointment. Each person working was kind, accomodating and professional. The building itself was very clean (one employee was even spot cleaning between customers) and did not have a strong hairspray/chemical smell like some places. However, I was treated like one by techs J and N, who were far more interested in talking to each other than in acknowledging my existence or making even a modicum of effort to see that I was as comfortable as possible while they were working. The tech who finished the job, J, seemed utterly oblivious to the fact that she completely soaked the back of the t-shirt I was wearing, with cold water, while rinsing out the neutralizing solution. When I declined a blow-dry with diffuser, she declined to offer even the most basic comb-out, once the rinse was done and the rods were removed from my hair. I was so disappointed in her utter indifference that I plan to seek further cosmetology services elsewhere in the future. It was a particularly bitter disappointment given the excellent service I got in January and the good service in April.

I felt bad for her but I also felt bad for my kid The owner was v nice and sweet though and offered to fix it after 3 weeks but I don't think my kid would love to come back here. It's not worth the stress that I am dealing with right now. My kid was very upset that I brought him there and does not want to leave the house because his hair is choppy and uneven.
