I place an order online for a sound bar for my TV and for a swiffer wet jet. The sound bar was canceled because they said it was out of stock. I just had to go in and look for myself. After talking to an associate, they went in the back and found the sound bar I had purchased online and was cancelled from my order. I bought it using the firm, but then I had to buy it using my debit card. I went to the customer center to get the swiffer jet refills, but the customer service said I had to go to curbside to get that. She wasn't going to try to find it. I go out to the curbside area and all 15 spots were blocked with crates as you can see in the picture here. No one was answering the curbside pick up phone number. Since I couldn't pick up the item that I've already paid for by curbside and Customer Service wasn't going to do pick up orders, I just canceled the order completely for the swiffer wet jet refills. This is a hot mess! Waste of time doing their job for them. Walmart is Trash! This is why I like going to target. I don't care if it's considered a more "bougie" version of Walmart because at least you get your stuff and don't deal with employees who hate their life. read more

Today they delivered an open package of bacon to my house and for the return had to bring it in. Omar Gonzales is the manager for orders and grocery that trains them to do this sending rotten food home to poison children so he can keep his bottom line and make $$. Walmart is Walmart, true. BUT, not all are managed as well as others. Namely, this one seems to be run smoothly. Makes me a little ticked off when I visit other Walmarts and see how nice customers are treated there compared to the one in Valley Ranch. How is it the employees actually smile and speak to you here and at the Carrollton Walmart, but they all look so miserable in Valley Ranch? Perplexed on this one. The entrance to the super center is a little odd and narrow but once in the parking lot, it is easy to find a parking spot and go to work. This one has a larger self-service registers to get in and out quickly, which was another plus. Oh, the employees here also seem to have a dress code and adhere to it. I swear, I have seen my local WM employees wearing sweatpants and what appears to be pajama bottoms, hair in curlers, and dirty clothes! read more

On Jan. 1st, I witnessed a very unprofessional behavior from a team lead towards his associate in the electronics department. It was also witnessed by a female associate. I was able to obtain the names of the employees from another associate so that I can address this review properly. Komi is the ²team lead, and Jansen is the associate. I was nearby, Jansen was picking an oversized online order when Komi came up to him with a rude attitude and condescending tone, saying to Jansen, "Do you have a problem moving fast!?" Jansen tried to explain to him that he has an oversized order that is taking some time. Komi's response, "That's no excuse!" As I watch them, Komi also mocked Jansen behind his back with the way Jansen was walking while he was struggling a bit pulling a big load. This type of behavior is unacceptable. I hope this guy Komi gets proper training on how to better deal with his associates in a more constructive approach. Hoping that the Walmart management team will do something about this. Shaming and bullying another employee is a form of harassment. This is appalling! KOMI is representing WALMART as an employee. This is HARASSMENT and causing harm to the individual. read more

Typical Wal-Mart. I've been here at least two times and nothing new about them. It was nice to find groceries here that I couldn't find at the other Walmart's in the Irving area. This location does seem cleaner and I've been here during the morning or early afternoon so it wasn't too bad. I visit this location on my lunch break, at first it wasn't very crowded, but that has changed. One thing that has not changed is the cleanliness of the store. When I was here last Wednesday, a few produce items that were on my list were out of stock. Bummer! I think this location has a pretty good produce selection that includes several organic choices. I find that Wal-Mart produce seems to be hit or miss, but I like what I find here. Additionally, all Wal-Mart stores have the same basic floor plan that makes for easy store navigation. This store is big, and I find a bigger better selection on most items here including the meat, dairy, and a special gluten free section which is absent from most stores. I do not always shop at Wal-Mart, but when I do I like the way my receipt looks when I leave. read more

This place is HUGE! Don't expect anything different from this Walmart from others except the size of the place. Same prices, same employees... same Walmart. Mammoth chains such as Walmart provide the luxury of familiarity - you know what to expect! This location is convenient right across 635. Parking is well lit with cameras. The groceries section is nicely laid out and typically had good selection. The store overall is clean. But rest of the items - boy aren't they difficult to locate. The low height makes it difficult to read all signs. But a friendly Walmart associate is always nearby to assist. Self check-out line are way too cordenned off - so it's difficult to see if any machines are open. Cart returns are located conveniently. Overall - good experience. Associates have been very helpful and cheerful. read more

It's always an adventure when you walk into a Walmart. Sometimes you feel like you are in an underdeveloped country because of the service (or lack of I should say) and the customers that shop at Walmarts. I just find it annoying to be checking out my shopping cart when there are 5 employees standing around and doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except stare at you struggling to check out. Walmart needs to get some tips from Costco. Employees at Costco look happy to help and actually do help check you out when you are in the self service lines. The pick-up service here is broken. About 30% of the time there is a problem. Today I had an pick-up order to be ready from 2-3PM. I approved a couple substitutions from the super duper text service. But then I never got a text that the order was ready for pick-up. I called the number on the "orange signs" around 4:20 PM. Someone said the order was ready and come pick it up. I got there around 4:25PM and then waited another 20 minutes before the order came out. When I got home I discovered I was charged for a Great Value quart and half Vanilla that I didn't get. Not as clean as the other Walmarts I've been to, and the morning staff treated me like I was a ghost. Made me question if I was for a moment because a few of them saw me pass by and didn't bother to drop a "hello" or "thank you for coming here and helping make sure this place stays open so I have a job." Update on my vacuum...I only used it 3 times and the rubber band inside broke and the motor burned out. I took it back without a box and without the actually receipt and only proof I had was my bank statement, customer service still refunded me the money. I've been here twice and even though it is a brand-new store, the only things I was impressed with was: -it is very large and clean and -every shelf was well stocked The one thing that will probably keep me from going back is that service is horrible. There are hardly any employees to help customers. It looks like they have about 40 cash registers, but only open four or five at a time?! On my last visit, I waited 20-25 minutes in the sporting good section for assistance and no one came. I requested help from about four different employees and each said someone would be on the way. I got so irritated, I had a basket full of groceries and just left. Also, like most other Walmarts, their selection of ammunition was pitiful. This is a new Walmart located just south of I-635 and west of Midway. The store itself is new and improved from the old location. However, the store itself has a strong smell of fried chicken that can ruin your shopping experience. Make no mistake -- you can get everything from groceries, to electronics, to sports equipment, to garden supplies, but the strong odor of fried chicken will be with you for the entire shopping trip. read more

Been to this Walmart sometimes, but during a Sunday evening it was TOO crowded. Getting to this Walmart from EB I-635 was actually pretty easy, but parking can be difficult. The meat at this Walmart looked pretty nice and items that I needed were always never out of stock. The layout of this Walmart, especially around the clothing and food aisles were very confusing and we needed water to fill in our water tanks, but it wasn't working at all. Moved from the other side of LBJ to the East-Bound side where the Walmart Neighborhood Market used to call home) It is a large store, and like other walmarts as of late the entry/exit driveway designs are horrible. This store anchors a SAMS Club and has a gas station island. Inside the store, you have your standard deli, produce and bakery sections.. the store is nicely spread out and the shelves are always well stocked. Also, the registers available to open ratio is still off. There is a large self check out area that is usually manned by an associate in case you get someone that still doesn't get the concept. read more

I'm updating because they got the problem solved yesterday. This is specifically about the pharmacy. It was a big issue for me today when I went to pick up my prescription. It had been called in two days ago but Wallmart moved the pharmacy. Evidently Walmart forgot that doctors are calling in prescriptions to the pharmacy at the old location which was approximately hundred feet away. So people trying to fill the prescriptions at the new location found that their prescriptions had been lost by Wallmart. So I'm having to go back to my doctor and get my prescription for high blood pressure medication called in again. Causing a three day delay. I wasn't alone there were many people trying to get their prescriptions filled. All of this with long lines at the pharmacy and I spent two hours in an unsuccessful attempts to get my prescription filled. read more

I use to love this store, but as if the last 4-5 months, I find it difficult to shop there. 1. Their shelves are empty. I can only find about 1/2 of the items I need. 2. The same type items may be in 2 or 3 isles. Like chips , they were on several isles. 3. I went today and saw an item that had a clearance sign underneath it. Because I wanted to make sure that I was getting the right thing, I had to go back to automotive, and asked for a sales associate. After 30 minutes somebody finally came then left said I had to go speak with the manager waited another 15 minutes they never came back. Went back to automotive to call for a supervisor in again stay there for about another 30 minutes and nobody came. 4. No one answers the phone. 5. the automotive shop says it opens at 7:00. I've now waited for someone to open the door and its 7:08. And someone was inside, getting checked out. Had to bang on the door for someone to Let me in and Then took another 20 to get in. read more
