Target is Target is Target…read more For the most part Target is copy/paste no matter where you go. That being said, of the 3 that we visit regularly, this has got to be the busiest. Granted, it's in an enormous retail megalopolis so foot traffic is going to make that happen. On a recent Saturday we were in the area doing some other shopping and Target was our destination. To be honest, after having been to 5 or 6 other retail outlets Jim was about wiped out. Into Target we went anyway. My sole complaint about this location is the parking/entry situation. The store is basically on the corner and right by the entrance from the street into what I'm suddenly going to call the Parking Village, so it can be a challenge for both the driver and for pedestrians. Keep your eyes open, people, and stay off your phone when you're driving in this area. For being inside the Christmas shopping season (Let's face it, it starts November 1 any more) the store, while busy, wasn't crowded. After stops at a few departments for some Targeted (see what I did there?) items (Brand New ABBA CD? Yes, please, and thank you!) we decided to browse a bit. I was glad that Christmas wasn't out in full force. It had a presence, but we weren't in full-hype Christmas mode. Thanks for not rushing it. Most of the shelves were well stocked and there was no clutter of pallets in any of the aisles (like some other retail establishments.) Paper products could have been replenished but for the most part things were in great shape. This is one of the few retail places I've been to recently where I didn't have to send out a search party for someone to give me assistance locating something. I looked around a corner and there was a young lady there who knew exactly where the self-sealing stem bolts were located. I'm still on the fence about the updated snack bar/Starbucks arrangement in some Target locations. Tonight the parking lot was busy as ever with the holidays around the corner. This parking lot is nuts - be careful coming in and leaving. The biggest thing I noticed was the bright lights of Ulta beauty toward the front of the store. We spent most of our trip in the toy aisles this visit. We found a gift amongst the options. Pro tip: make sure you scan the items with your Target app. Anything on sale online will show and you can request the discount at the counter. Several checkout lanes were open including the self checkout. We got out quickly and our clerk was super friendly.

I didn't have my…read morehandicap placard with me, but I was still able to find a parking spot close enough to the entrance to meet my accessibility needs, which I really appreciated. Once inside, I noticed they had multiple scooters available--three in total--and they were all actively charging and in great condition. That's not something you see at every store, and it made things a lot easier. The store was easy to navigate, I found what I needed quickly, and checkout was smooth and efficient. What really stood out, though, was the staff. As I was leaving and gathering my items while using my walking assistive devices, an employee stopped me and offered to let me ride the scooter out to my car and said she would take it back for me. I declined, but that level of awareness and care really spoke volumes. This has been my experience every time I go to Publix--they consistently go above and beyond. So for me, this is an easy five out of five.
