This Kroger is really big, especially compared to my regular Kroger back in Ohio. It is one of the nicest Kroger's I've ever shopped in. Bright, clean, well organized and well stocked. Not being familiar with the store, I stopped a guy wearing a Kroger "personal shopper vest" and he not only told me when to find the bread aisle but actually walked me to it. His name tag said "Jackie" and he's a credit to the Kroger staff. Great place to shop. read more

The reason I shop at Kroger's because of the high quality of food stuffs offered, fresh produce, excellent bakery, deli, sushi bar, & Starbucks! The staff go out of their way to help find products, checkout, and answering questions. The stores are clean, well stocked shelves, and offer specialty items. No squire nor maiden could I find to aid my cause, to open a path to freedom. Translation from the above: I visited Kroger and spent a little over an hour meticulously selecting groceries. I focused on choosing healthy options that adhered to a specific diet prescribed by my doctor, particularly important as I had recently been discharged from the hospital. Upon reaching the checkout area with a full cart, I was dismayed to find no cashiers available. The self-checkout option was impractical for several reasons. The limited space in the bagging area makes it impossible to unload a full cart without using multiple carts, which often triggers the anti-theft system. This necessitates frequent assistance from an attendant, defeating the purpose of a 'self' checkout and creating an overall frustrating experience. Because of not finding help to check me out and feeling too weak and tired to bag my groceries my self. Due to this unacceptable situation, and my physical limitations after my hospital stay, I was forced to abandon my fully-loaded cart at the front of the store without being able to explain my reasons to anyone. My primary complaint is the lack of available cashiers. I am deeply disappointed that customer service has deteriorated to this point. This used to be my preferred store. It is close to my home. This experience was, frankly, pathetic. Kroger's staffing was unacceptable, and I am seriously reconsidering whether I will shop there again, despite its convenient location. I believe in maintaining a certain level of self-respect, and this experience was simply ridiculous. Thank you for nothing, Kroger; you were once my favorite store. read more

I'm not sure why I've never reviewed nor checked in to this Kroger. I always go here when I'm in town. Anyway, I love how it's organized and it's fun to see high school kids working here. Some of them seem tired while others seem to enjoy it. Customer service is pretty good. Sometimes they greet you, other times not so much. It's a busy location though. The parking lot can get really chaotic. I try to park over by the spirits, since most people park near the other entrance to the building. It's so noticeable to me now seeing that we keep the spirits in a separate area in which it has its own entrance. In some states, wine and any kind of alcohol is out in the open. There's no separate room. Anyway, If you come early in the morning, it's not so busy. I remember coming after work on weekdays and it would be slammed! So many people! Always check the expiration dates on anything with an expiration date in this store. They are getting very lax with that. I just returned microwaveable potatoes that had an OCT 2023 expiration date (today's date is DEC 6th 2023). Because of the covering, I couldn't see they were already growing. Customer service just shrugged. Many times, all of the bakery bread was at least two days out of date. read more

Terrible customer service. I was supposed to have a pick up order ready at 8PM. My Kroger app was not allowing me to check in, so I called the number to check in. As they were looking for my order, I see on the app my order is cancelled. The pick up department employee tells me the system went down and must have cancelled my order. I was never called to be notified my order was cancelled. She tell me I can have $5 off my next order. (I don't see $5 coupon anywhere?!?). I talk to "management" employee didn't say her name, so I can relay this to corporate. She tells me the system went down and that's all. I still ask why I was not called or texted about my order being cancelled. No answer on that question either. Sounds like laziness and lack of care for customer service. Kroger is not our favorite place to shop for groceries because the prices are high but, we were right across the street and just needed a few things so we thought we would run in. Sundays must be a popular day to shop for the folks in this area as the parking lot was full and store was packed. They must have had a big sale going on. We navigated through the masses and found the few staples we needed and checked out. They had the express lane open so we took advantage of it and we were on our way. For 20 years I shopped at the Highlands Kroger but recently moved out to the east end and the Brownsboro at Snyder Kroger. I have to say I love this location just like my old one. It is very easy to shop in and the staff has always been friendly. The store is always stocked well. The meat section and the staff is friendly. Plenty of space to walk around in. Always fresh. I can't say enough good about this place. I am there weekly. I suggest checking them out. read more

This Kroger is near to where we live on the northeast end of town and I am truly impressed by the store and how convenient it is. I am not a fan of this daylight savings time change, but it's part of life and needed to get creamer for coffee this morning along with a few other items that we needed. Upon walking into the store, to the left, there is the floral department and right near to the floral department is a Starbucks which allows shoppers to get their favorite cup of Joe and walk around the store. I think it's a pretty neat idea to have a coffee shop in grocery stores as that enhances the shopping experience. The store has a nice deli/cheese area with the Murray Cheese and that area was fully stocked. Coming in on an early Sunday morning, I noticed that the associates were busy restocking shelves or doing resets. Also, some associates were helping fulfill orders for ClickList (the unique feature Kroger offers to better assist busy customers). The store recently underwent a renovation and it looks great. Customer service is top notch and just wanted to give a shout out to my cashier (Gloria). She was very pleasant and I admired how she wished every customer to have a Blessed day. I think many times we get caught up in the busyness of life that sometimes we forget to just be humble and give thanks to God. Recommend this Kroger to anyone in the Northeast corner of town and make sure to shop well to get Kroger points which can be redeemed for fuel purchases. Also, their gift card selection was quite impressive. As it is March and the NCAA tourney is coming up, they had a display of Coach Calipari in the entrance for all the UK basketball fans. read more

It is ridiculous that I have to go in the grocery entrance, walk through the store, exit by pharmacy and then enter the liquor store. Can the the first exterior set of doors be open to the public for the liquor entrance only? Not sure what mandates have been set thanks to Covid, so maybe this is out of Kroger's control, but I will not be purchasing my liquor here anymore. I want to get in and get out. I will pay a higher price at the corner spot by my house and be in and out in under 5 minutes. read more

I shop at this location because the shelves are generally fully stocked, they have the absolute best produce, and checking out is extremely quick. The store is clean and well laid out. Terrible rotting produce. I bought a bunch of cilantro and it was black inside after I opened the bunch. A bag of frozen broccoli and cauliflower had no cauliflower and several pieces of broccoli was brown. This store, while having a good product selection, exhibits an inferior management team. Kyle is consistently rude, abusive, and frequently just plain wrong about store policies. He makes up his own rules as he goes along, and presents them as fact. Nate lacks supervisory talent and thus represents a profound embarrassment to Kroger. There is no excusing their sub-standard performance and behavior. It is best to avoid this store for another location, or better yet - shop at a competitor. read more

I am from Western Kentucky, I come here every weekend to work. It takes every bit of 3 hours to drive the distance. On the 15th I enter the Kroger store #13, I wanted a container of your chicken salad and to no avail, forgetting the hour time difference the deli was closing and I was told I could not get any. Well I continued to shop, and then an employee approached me seeing I was lost. He asked me if he could help. I had explained what happened, and with a call on the walkie talkie, I was on my way back to receive my chicken salad free. I had told him that free was not necessary and he explained how important customers are. I have never felt so welcomed and satisfied with customer service has I had on the 15th. Eddie was his name he is the manager. I will continue to shop here every weekend I am here. I have worked in customer service and even in a managerial position. I have tried to work and teach this kind of work ethic. I can not thank you enough Kroger's for seeing what Eddie had to offer your company, so please when it can be done. Give him, what he deserves as a wonderful manager and employee. I am not the type to give a review but Eddie really impressed me and I hope you will recognize this. read more

I keep coming back to this Kroger not just because it's convenient and near my home but because, since the latest renovations, I really enjoy shopping at this Kroger. There is another Kroger down the street but I choose to come here because I really enjoy this store. I know it sounds weird but I'm serious.... I really enjoy shopping here. If you're looking for a local Kroger that has a little of everything, come here. Their selection of different brands seems to expand every week and I haven't had a problem finding ethnic foods. The demographics in this area appear to have provided a demand for food that crosses many cultures and it shows in the way this Kroger stocks it's food. The recent renovations were tedious for shoppers but I think the wait was well worth it. read more

The liquor store entrance is located at the store exit. To get in you must walk all the way down to the entrance and through the ENTIRE store to get in, exposing yourself to far more people than need be. Whomever set this process up used ZERO common sense as other Kroger's don't do this. Poor management at this location. read more

LOVE this Kroger. They've recently expanded and renovated. It's extremely clean and very well organized. I know I can come in and get what I need and get out quick. I especially love their deli sides and cheese bar. If you find something you might like but don't want to commit, they do offer samples. Even with the cheese. The cheese bar encourages samples and they staff is friendly and knowledgable. I went there once to get cheese for summer sausage and their recommendation went PERFECTLY with our sausage and crackers. The only issue I have is getting in and out of their parking lot. There are a couple of entrances, but during certain times of the day, it can be slightly gridlocked, so I prefer to go later in the evening or on weekends. read more

I shop at this Kroger because its close to my house but too often I have to go to the Westport Road store on the way home because this store is out of the items I came to buy. This morning I went to the store at 6:30 am thinking I would beat the Thanksgiving rush and items would be available. I was wrong, the store was in a shambles. Carts at the front of the store overflowing with items that needed to be returned to the shelf. There were carts of boxes waiting to be restocked all over the store, the lights in the frozen food section were turned off making it difficult to see. The man stocking the yogurt had every door open in the aisle all at once letting all the cold air out. The frozen vegetables were all picked over and there was no frozen corn. The Kroger brands of cream cheese and butter were not available. The bakery section had not restocked the fresh rolls. The people working at the store were very nice and helpful but this happens all of the time at this store. So I went to the Westport Road location to pick up the rest of the items I needed that were out at Brownsboro Rd Store. Westport Road Store had all the items...the store was in perfect order, all the stocking apparently completed during the night (no carts and boxes all over the store) and all the lights were on in the frozen food section so I could see what I was buying. The people at Brownsboro are very nice but shelves are consistently bare and not stocked in a timely manner. read more

Very often out of stock: Organic Fat Free milk, both in the front and in the back. You'll never see a bottle of Martinelli's Sparking Apple Cider in this store, although there is a place for it. You'll see lots of white rice, but no wild rice. They are often sold out of popular bread brands. The cherries should be in season right now. They are mushy. Went back 2 other times; mushy. Just stopped by after work today to get stuff for a salad. ALL of the tomatoes were soft, some were rotting and bugs were flying around. This Kroger USED TO BE one of the better stores. However, those days are gone. I can pick through rotted tomatoes at any grocery store. I was hoping for better. I expect better. And I think management knows how to make it better. They need to pay attention to what the department heads are ordering and how they are maintaining their produce. Maybe they just get enough business now that they can afford to let stuff slide. Won't be mine much longer. We do have choices, nice thing to remember. read more
