Even though you do have to deposit a quarter for a cart here a lot of times people and do the good pay it forward move and leave a cart free for you to use hoping that you will do the right thing and pay it forward in the future. yes the selections can be small and you will not find a bunch of the brands that used to seeing at some of the big box stores but the money you save shopping at this location will more than make up for the lack of brands this place is perfect if you are trying to pick out certain grocery items regardless of what brand they are I will continue to shop here and gratefully pay a quarter to use the card and I will definitely be happy to bag my own groceries here

What I have just realized is that this company doesn't seem to care about allergies or honoring their return policy. I bought a Neutrogena face wash on March 1st, 2021. I used it ONE time and had a major reaction on my face. At first I was told that it wasn't within the 14 day window to bring it back. So I asked Kitty to just throw it away for me. Then I got to thinking and realized today would be the 14th day and decided I needed to talk to the manager. I spoke with Joe about it and he was sorry I had a reaction; but because I had opened it, he could not return it even though it was within their 14 day policy. Sure it was only $8.49; but still. This is a local grocery store that my husband and I frequently buy from. I almost NEVER return things. But this one time I did, and I got turned away. And never once did I see anything about that on their return policy. Attached is their policy that i had found. For a lot of good this company does, I'm upset that there isn't a clarified response on this; but I wanted to warn others before they decide to buy hygiene items from Kroger.

My wife's ribs were huge and the sides generous. The ribs were smokey and very meaty. These are not baby back ribs, they are very big. Our only complaint is the ribs were enveloped in a pretty tough crust. Quite chewy. BUT once you broke through to the meat it was tender and very tasty. Her sides were Mac and cheese and green beans. My wife thought the Mac and cheese was just OK but the green beans were seasoned very well and she loved them. My brisket came with two thick slices with a nice crust on the fat side. I really enjoyed the brisket. My sides were the Mac and cheese, and pinto beans and cornbread. I agreed with my wife, the Mac and cheese was OK, but the pinto beans and cornbread was very good, seasoned nicely. There's no real handheld menu. You walk up to the counter and there are big pieces of paper taped to the glass case that serves as the menu. So you get in line, and as you move forward staff comes out and takes your order. You grab a seat and your self serve fountain drink if you want one. They bring your food to you. Other than ordering and food delivery, everything else is self serve. Desserts and soft serve ice cream are also available as self serve. All staff are very friendly and accommodating. They were extremely nice and patient with me walking through the whole process since this was our first visit. BTW, be prepared for communal dining. Very few single tables and they go fast. You pay once you're done eating. Nice small town folks and good food.

The BBQ was outstanding. The brisket had a beautiful smoke ring, was incredibly juicy, and had the perfect bark. The ribs were exactly how I like them--tender with a slightly sweet, sticky sauce that complemented the meat instead of overpowering it. The macaroni and cheese was good, but honestly, I'd make the drive again just for the BBQ. We've tried BBQ all over the Louisville area, and B & N Food Market is now our favorite. If you're anywhere within driving distance, it's absolutely worth the trip.
