Walmart. A necessary evil. I shop here at night. Weird stuff happens here at night, and the night workers are slightly crazy. They're also paid like garbage, so I cut them a break. Overall, the store is clean. Bathrooms, too. It's a typical Walmart. Would look the same if it were Oklahoma. Except for the kayaks. This one has kayaks. And a McDonalds. read more

I read some of these reviews, I wonder how many of them are just haters or an individual bad day for them. We shop this store on a regular basis and have never felt unsafe here. One review is upset with a challenged cashier, get over yourself dude, who else hires challenged people but Walmart. The Bend area is a resort destination and retirement area for the most part, if you shop late in the day or around the 1st or 2nd of the month the shelves may not be fully stocked. I have never been treated poorly here as are most of the people in Oregon very polite. I don't do many reviews and have come to think that only bad reviews get posted. read more

I watched a female latino manager yell at an employee in front of everyone. The store is always dirty, and the construction is horrible. There are pieces of the floor missing in spots where they already laid new flooring down. I asked an employee about the heavy gas fumes in the store one day and she laughed and said management didn't care about them. No one seems to care about the store, and most things are always out of stock. I will go to the Redmond Supercenter before coming here. read more

Worst Walmart that I have been to. I have been to many Walmarts and this is far below the level of just alright.. Limited inventory in everything. Unclean, unorganized. The Walmart in Redmond is well worth the drive. read more

OK. A review for a Walmart?? Really? Well yeah, I normally don't shop here but when I need some stuff quick and not from around the area I knew they would have it. A very well staffed store and they are friendly too. Had to visit customer service the day after and that only confirms my initial experience. What more can I say....it's a nice store. read more

This Walmart Pharmacy is by far the best I've used in the country (from Portland OR all the way to New York). There service has out performed Walgreens, Rite Aid, Costco and Safeway. They are organized prompt and take the extra time to help with complicated processes (like insurance, prescription transfers and contacting my doctor). I decide to use their pharmacy because they have the best prices and that was just the beginning. I'm really grateful to all of the staff. Thank you read more

LOVE DR TONI DECKER!!! she's amazing! She is the first eye dr I have gone to and has always kept my eyes in great condition. She really takes the time to thoroughly explain everything to you and makes you as comfortable as possible. All the girls who work in her office are also really cool. Tammy the Drs assistant and April the receptionist are two of my favorites. I would definitely recommend them anytime you have eye needs! read more

For an older store this isn't that bad. They are in the process of expanding the store in to a supercenter and adding around 100 new jobs. Too bad they won't ditch the floor tiles and ceiling tiles and add skylights. Now that would really dress this place up. read more

Just left the store and I am seriously pissed. I wanted to return a hook thin for your bag that goes in the car. Looked at the back of the receipt to figure out what the return policy is and it just has information about possibly winning $1000 gift card to Walmart. So I go in and explain that I would like to return. Lady looks at the receipt gives me a nasty look and says I bought it in may and the return policy is 90 days. I explain that it says nowhere on there 90 days and how am I suppose to know that. She keeps the same nasty face and with attitude tells me it's always been 90 days.... I never really return anything. Legit the thing I bought was like $5 dollars. It wouldn't have been a huge deal if this chick hadn't been a complete bitch. Don't work customer service if you don't have people skills.. read more

This is the best Walmart, with the best customer service I've ever been too. For the out of-town folks who criticize it....get over it. It might take repeat visits like we local folks do to learn how to appreciate their beyond-the-norm customer service. I can not count how many times a staff person has literally walked me to a part of the store where the item I was looking for was located. I don't mind walking, the directions alone would have been appreciated, but no, they left their working area to make sure I found the right spot with the right item. NO OTHER STORE I frequent makes that effort now. They are always courteous. I also thank them many times over for preparing that store for COVID19, and limiting the number of customers who are allowed in there at one time. They have also added a full time security service in the parking lot, thank you for that although I personally always felt safe there. For those of you who don't like the homeless, go somewhere else and try to not find that. That is not Walmarts fault, that is a problem for many cities everywhere. Don't come into a town as a visitor with your big expectations then criticize our stores. Look for the good and appreciate it, stop looking at the bad which is everywhere. Worst customer service that I have ever experienced, and this wasn't the first time! The cashiers are rude and must not be retaining their training. The cashier I had today wouldn't sell us a six pack because all the bottles weren't the same (someone else had swapped two of the other flavors out for two of the cider flavor that was in our package). We explained that this wasn't a big deal to us since it was the last package but she insisted that she could not sell us the six pack. This was irritating, but if that's the policy that's okay. The worst thing about it was her attitude towards us. Then she spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to ring up a life proof case without asking for any help. Her attitude was negative and extremely rude throughout the entire transaction. We ended up leaving without paying for the item due to frustration and lack of respect that was shown. This is now the second time I have had less than satisfactory service at this location and I have only lived in this area for a month. I will no longer be spending my money at this store, I'd rather spend the extra fifty cents somewhere that values their customers. read more

Very dissapointed that every time we go in there the employees are very ill informed and unhelpful. I might as well work at wal mart because everytime we go in there it seems like they are just searching the same as us. If they dont know they should not waste our time sending us on a wild good chase. I know they hire handicapped and that is very kind and humanitarian but the managers should tell them that if they dont know tell the customers they dont know. read more

I'm a recent transplant to Bend and thought the first time I visited the Bend Walmart Supercenter it was just an off day for them. I've only ever shopped at 2 other Walmarts; a Marketplace Walmart in Portland and the Grants Pass Walmart Supercenter. Both of those ALWAYS had the freshest produce and selection, grocery shelves and dairy cases fully stocked and enough checkers to help keep lines to a minimum. Bend's Walmart is a JOKE in comparison! Particularly it's grocery department. Just by walking through the produce department you can tell what will be fresh. Its the massive quantities of one particular fruit or vegetable on display. You know that one is fresh. Everything else is suspect and often starts molding within a couple of​ days of purchase. Grocery shelves are completely out of many products (especially canned goods), and where-oh-where is the YOGURT??? On one visit I literally saw 1 quart-size carton of yogurt in their 20' dairy case. W-H-A-T??? All the other times its been a very scanty selection. I see stockers in aisles every single time I go, so why aren't the shelves, produce bins and dairy cases well stocked?? I don't get it. I so miss shopping at Winco. Will there be one in Bend soon??? read more

My partner is physically disabled, and this store is atrocious for ADA compliance. We tend to shop at night when there are less crowds. The stockers throw their supplies in the middle of the aisles in a haphazard fashion, making it impossible to get a scooter or a wheelchair in. When we mention this fact to staff, they repeatedly tell us "Oh we were just told to do it that way for tonight." But, it's EVERY TIME WE GO TO THIS STORE! The aisles are set too narrow for mobility assistance gear, and some have a damn pillar in the middle. As mentioned in other reviews, they are routinely out of stock of things we consider essentials. I will continue to drive the extra distance to the Redmond Walmart. read more

This place deserves no stars. Well the Doctor is awesome, and the cute girl that works during the week and the senior lady are all top notch. No stars because one cow with a control freak, snarky attitude works Saturdays. I went there today (1-28-12) to buy a box of contacts and schedule another appointment. The super nice senior lady was going to sell me a box and schedule an appointment for me but the cow interrupted, ignoring her own customer and said they would not sell me anything as my prescription had expired yesterday. The Senior Lady tried to ask the Doctor but the cow made it known who was boss. She clearly has an attitude problem and is terrible with customer service and does not deserve her job. The vision center was the only reason I ever shopped at Walmart. Because of the horrible service from one cow I will NEVER spend another dime at ANY Walmart for ANYTHING.
