As soon as…read moreyou walk in the store the first thing your tempted with is a ton of local goodies from Sisters and beyond. Ton of specialty items I usually would have to trek into Newport Market for. The bakery had marionberry pies, there is a deli section, and they have organic options! Lots of fruits, veggies plus plenty of gluten free choices too. The store was really really clean with a nice atmosphere and similar aesthetic to Market of Choice but seems to provide more value and less stress. The best part was my cashier Judy! She was genuinely nice to me, I had a great customer service experience with her. She really made me feel that local true community feeling, honestly how it should be. She was so nice when I mentioned it was my first time - she truly authentically welcomed me with such a kind tone and even walked me through signing up for their points system (much better than Market of Choice coupons this actually adds up toward your grocery bill)!!! We chatted about the store and its history a bit which was cool. I walked away feeling like wow, that was a nice experience! Rare these days even in Bend. This is a sleeper hit for me and is going to be my new go to. I told her I will definitely be back and I will. Highly recommend, customer service means a lot to me and I truly had a positive experience.

The meat section was okay and can goods, but again no seafood section! Drinks from soda and alcohol items they carry a good variety. Besides grocery items. Parking is shared by all retailers in the shopping complex.

We have businesses where we second hand as much as possible with regular turnover (we do not sell the products, we use them). In the past we spent so much at this store that one time the person ringing us up commented about it. They saw something in the system (connected to our phone number) about our total spent YTD and their eyes got wide, so we explained what we do for our business and that what they could see was just for their location. What I am saying is... we have a pulse on what is a good and fair price for these sort of things. I looked at a couch not to long ago at this location. It was half off. The price was still, with the discount, over $1600. When you pay 0% for your inventory you should not be charging consignment prices. Full stop. It is a poor business choice. The idea is to turn over the inventory because more is coming while passing on a lovely savings to your customers. Not hang on to it while it collects dust because you've out priced the new items being manufactured. Know your customer base and price accordingly. We have left empty handed from this store every single visit this year (2026) because the prices have skyrocketed. For reference, we were looking for a washer and dryer...found one brand new at Lowe's cheaper than this Restore had (used no less). That is why I am writing this review. If the free inventory you receive is higher priced than the brand new inventory from the original store...well...here's your sign. So, we will likely have to drop this store from our rotation because time is precious and we cannot waste trips when we could find a better resource to take its place. That's just how it goes, I guess, but it saddens us because we like to support good causes and keep things out of the dump.

Mixed feelings about this place. Visited recently and found a wonderful lady at the checkout who…read morewas courteous, professional and patient when navigating the coupon discounts offered. Seems signing up for emails gets you 20% but they already offer 15% to anyone in store, but you cannot combine the two so that means you only got 5% for offering up your personal information and allowing them to pepper you with their marketing baloney. OK. At least the great lady at the checkout made up for that gaffe by corporate. Next, felt the general store quality had improved. Good. Wanted to buy more there but the prices were higher than elsewhere. Noted. Did find a few things. Next, tried to exchange a defective item (pillow) less than a week later. It developed a hole in a seam. Talked to a younger manager, who pushed a lot of questions at me suggesting it was my fault the seam had failed. NOT GOOD. Patiently endured her questions. Then she told me there could be no exchange without a receipt. Told her my charge would be in the system. Not good enough. (WHAT?) Offered to show her the charge recpt in my VISA app. Not good enough. Turns out the pillow I saw there during my original visit was too expensive anyway and I had decided to purchase elsewhere. I purchased it at Wal Mart, so I did not need to exchange it at World Market after all. OF COURSE WAL MART TOOK IT BACK ON EXCHANGE HAPPILY WITH NO QUESTIONS OR ISSUES - and it cost me half of what World Market wanted for the pillow!!! Word to the wise. Don't shop with World Market if they cannot support you after the sale, no matter how nice the sales clerks are at the time of purchase. Who needs the extra cost and hassle?

Kind people in the store, but they do not honor the online rewards that are sent via email.read more
