I think this store does things to make people Angry on purpose. To show their complete and total disrespect & disregard for the community at large. The fact that they spent money to remodel this store to put in self check out before "Black Friday" but here we are on December 2nd and they have only 3 lanes open and NONE of the self check out lanes are open is the worse use of space and management. I've been in line for 20 minutes. We would just leave but my brother opened some Nuts soooo we are stuck. Walmart needs to have better customer service not just on #blackfriday. Serve the community that comes here all the time!!

This Walmart has everything you need, except for cashiers. The wings are always super chunky here. I don't know where they find these big ole birds, but keep doing what you do. There is adequate parking, but this place stays busy. Trying to pull in a spot takes an act of Congress, but it's Walmart. They've got a good mix of what you need and what your kids need. If you go to the self checkout, they do eventually have someone to direct you to the card only line. It would go so much quicker if they brought that person closer to the middle of the line. Just my suggestion.

This store was beyond awful. There were so many out of stocks up and down the aisles, you could take a nap on the shelves on just about any aisle. The lines were ridiculous with very few registers open. I took a pic of the line I had to use to buy my two items in self checkout. When I got to the self checkout register, they told me, "This one is broken." That statement could go for the entire store. This one is broken!

Housewares has all kinds of s...tuff.

It's a clean store, the maintenance team works hard to keep it that way. Depending on the time of the day you will either get help or not.

The employee in question is a fairly light-skinned Black man with reddish-brown hair and I think what appeared to be freckles. My first negative experience occurred last week. I noticed the rotisserie chickens and planned to grab one before leaving the store. However, when I returned after gathering my other items, the chickens were gone. I then noticed this employee wheeling them away in a cart toward the deli. While swiftly walking towards him, I called out "Excuse me" approximately five times, projecting my voice, before he finally turned around. I find it hard to believe he did not hear me. I asked if I could grab a rotisserie chicken, and fortunately, he allowed me to take one. Unfortunately, my second interaction with him occurred last night. My daughter and I approached the deli, and I asked her if she wanted ranch wings. When I noticed there were only about 10 pieces of chicken remaining, I decided against purchasing any. As I was preparing to walk away from the counter, the same employee abruptly stated, "Closed." No greeting. No acknowledgment. No courtesy whatsoever. He did not say, "I'm sorry, ma'am, but we're closed." He simply said, "Closed." When I asked him, "Did you just say closed?" He responded, "Yeah." I then advised that a more appropriate response would have been, "I'm sorry, ma'am, but we're closed." What bothered me was not that the deli was closed. I understand that businesses have operating hours and employees have schedules. My issue was the unnecessary rudeness and lack of basic courtesy in the way this information was communicated to me. I've grown increasingly frustrated by the lack of professionalism and communication skills I encounter from some employees from most places. Basic manners, communication, and customer service should not be difficult concepts to understand, regardless of age. We are living in difficult times, and I believe there are people who would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to have a job. Employment comes with responsibilities, and one of those responsibilities is treating customers with courtesy and respect. A simple acknowledgment, a polite response, and a professional attitude go a long way. This is the very type of lack of work ethic and accountability that my brother Abraham, also known as Da'Vinchi, has spoken about. His commentary has sparked conversations about professionalism, personal responsibility, and how we conduct ourselves in the workplace. Experiences like these are exactly why I believe these conversations are necessary. I am requesting that management address this employee's conduct. Customers should not have to tolerate dismissive, discourteous treatment when they are simply shopping and asking reasonable questions. Respect, professionalism, and basic courtesy are not too much to ask. Additionally, I regularly notice several employees standing around with their heads down, looking at their phones while I am checking myself out. This, too, is unprofessional. They are on the clock and at work, and they should conduct themselves accordingly. There is no excuse for employees to be standing around distracted by their personal devices while customers are checking out and may need assistance. This should not be normalized. Being employed means being accountable, remaining attentive, and taking your responsibilities seriously. Customers should not have to question whether employees are paying attention to their jobs. Management needs to address not only how employees communicate with customers but also how they conduct themselves during work.

After I waited for 15 minutes with other items roasting in my car in 90° weather, the Customer Service with authority to help me (who had told a fellow employee that she would help me) returned with three or four boxes of 12 mini diet cokes. I reiterated that I only wanted 2 six packs of the mini cans, none of which were on the shelf. She told me there were none in back. I asked her if since there weren't any of what I needed, I had to pay full price for the larger box that I did not want or if she could give me a discount (maybe the same price as 12 would cost in the BOGO?). She dismissively told me that I had to pay full price if I only bought one box. I consider that neither "working with me" as a customer nor Customer "SERVICE." frankly, I was shocked and appalled at her attitude and lack of desire to help a customer. She had no apparent desire to help me as one of her customers. Her attitude does not reflect the customer orientation that I have known in any other Publix in any state in my life. I am grateful that there are now two Publixes in LaGrange and I will do all that I can to shop at the Publix at Merganser Commons instead of the one on Commerce in the future.
