With all of this good, I have recently noticed an increase in expired items in the store. Over the past month or so, I've come across several items in the dairy department and on the snack shelves that were past their printed expiration dates. Last time I was there, I mentioned it to the cashier as well. Hopefully, they will start to be more diligent to get these items removed.

I've been overcharged 3 times on butter and eggs, and today I bought 3 items that were either spoiled or smelled funny. The fresh fennel smells like fish emulsion. I bought lamb neck stew meat- absolutely disgusting smell. I didn't notice the smell in the grocery but once I got home I could smell it through the bag. Also a drink I bought that stays refrigerated was very foul. I'm not sure if the refrigerator trucks bringing the items in are not working properly or what but that's a lot of items to be bad in one day. Customer service is always top notch and I appreciate how hard everyone works to make you feel seen and welcome.

It was refreshing to walk into a small town shop that is not run by global corporate giants who have never heard of the town or met the people who call it home. It reminded me of my childhood of going to the local grocer or hardware store. They do have a decent selection of items from produce to meat, and all of the dry goods you may need, but as a small independent grocer, the selection is not as large as your chain stores. We were able to find everything we wanted and needed. The cost per item was higher than other retailers as to be expected since they cannot purchase in the quantity the big box people do. But, what I spent extra at this IGA was easily saved in fuel costs of making the drive to Gainesville. We were greeted when we walked inside the door and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful during our shopping trip. If we lived locally, I could see us making this a stop for those small shopping trips or one-off needs and visiting frequently. When in the area and finding ourselves in need of forgotten items, we will be returning.

Stopped here because they advertise that they have Sephora in their location - absolute waste of time . no one there working with Sephora and they just as well close the section because there is nothing there to buy. The Kohl's Cash rewards program is a nice feature and keeps Kohl's as an option when looking at running to Kohl's for an item or ordering from Amazon. I understand the expiration date on your Kohl's Cash but wish they stayed active slightly longer. Returns have always been an easy process when items do not fit properly. During the pandemic when dressing rooms were closed, we never had any issues with making a return. The dressing rooms are now back open and my wife and the few times I have used them have found them to be well maintained, private, and secure.

Review on Mountain Haus Treats in Helen, Ga:…read more The supposed owner who said her name was Darlene Lujan was the worst interaction I have ever had going into a store. I have traveled to a lot of places in the world and this lady took the cake! Hands down worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. Walked into the store because I am a huge beef jerky fan and one of our friends said they had awesome jerky (found out they don't even make it , they buy from a mass producer) asked if I could sample just the original style before purchasing an entire bag as most jerky stores have little samples. This lady blew up and has the audacity to tell me that jerky is to expensive of a product to be giving out samples of rather than just saying no we unfortunately don't do samples. When I asked her, her name this is when things imploded. She started screaming and yelling and threatened to call the cops on me for pointing out her awful customer service and told me that I just wanted "steal" free samples Told me that I was just in there to steal samples and that I had no intention of buying anything. Oh but what was even more awesome was that she offered samples of her assortment of nuts that were under a heat lamp (I did not eat them so her previous statement I was just in there to "steal" samples made absolutely no sense and shows how incompetent she was). My husband and I were infuriated as we had our daughter with us when this happened. Not only was it embarrassing to be treated like this it made me very upset that it was the store owner who did this. I am going to post everywhere I can of my experience as a warning to others before entering this awful store. Oh and Darlene said that she didn't need our kind of people in her store whatever that was supposed to mean????#mountainhaustreats #downtownhelen #helenga #helengeorgia #mountainhaustreatssuck Located @ 23 Chattahoochee Strasse Helen, Ga 30545
