What I loved most v about this farmer's market was that the gifs being sold were made by the artisans. With so many of our gifs made out there country, it is something to be said about goods being made in America. There were artists seeking water color painting and another one selling jewelry. When was the last time you've eaten a homemade pickle. They were there for sale. This farmer's market was charming with sweet country flare.

Got the marrow bones and some knuckles and some specialty sauces to try. Plenty of frozen homemade stuff to try at a later date. Cajun foods. What I did not see much of was big beautiful fresh red meat-steaks-hamburger-etc. There were just a few choices and not very appetizingly displayed.

Since my mother couldnt afford the expensive of expensive fruits and breads and meats, we would shop at piggly wiggly and still be able to eat good. This is not a bad store at all. In all fairness, I found all the employees professional - extremely helpful....to the point they walk you over to what you are looking for.....friendly and knowledgeable..... COMPARED TO MANY OTHER WALMARTS! The store was always well organized and neat- checkout was usually fast moving. No complaints only compliments to all the hard working employees there.

I had no problem finding the few things I wanted so that I have good snacks in the RV. Sliced cheese, eggs, sausages, even a two items from the "Aisle of Awesomeness" that I didn't realize I needed. Quick checkout and I found a cardboard box for hauling my stuff back to the RV. Yes, I forgot to pack reusable bags on this trip. But I did manage to bring my quarter for the shopping cart deposit.
