While this is not my go-to Walmart in the area, I do pop in on occasion when in Austell and I happen to need something only Walmart supplies. This Walmart is located at the corner of East West Connector and Floyd Road. It is the anchor of a small shopping complex that also features a Dollar Tree, shoe store, battery/bulbs store and a wing spot. Given the shopping center, parking is decent. The lot is not as large as other Walmart's but it gets it done. I have popped in here for several things over the years and have learned that this location is best to visit before 12:00 PM on Weekdays. Anytime after noon on weekdays and legit anytime on the weekends, this place is insane...so, I recommend you plan your trips here accordingly! Inventory has never been an issue at this location, as for the most part I always find what I am after. Service is hit and miss, just like any Walmart, however I usually receive better service during the AM hours...so just another reason to plan that trip at the right time. Overall, this is your standard Walmart. There is nothing that makes this location stand out in a good or bad way. When in need, I will pop by. read more

Walmart is a place where u will find something for your everything. If they make it they sell it at Walmart. From your home projects to outdoor living or sports and fitness , they have it all! While they do carry a reputation for low quality in the service arena, they do give you more bang for your buck particularly on products sold at other stores for more expensive prices. On my last few visit I was able to find less expensive kitchen items and tool kits for working on small projects around the house.The most recent was I was able to find 36-in x 84-in Clear Advantage All-in-One Screen Replacement Kit at a fraction of the price from places like Home Depot. These are used when your window screens on your home have weathered and rotted, or have been ripped from wear and tear. Very easy installation process. read more

The fact that they spent money to remodel this store to put in self check out before "Black Friday" but here we are on December 2nd and they have only 3 lanes open and NONE of the self check out lanes are open is the worse use of space and management. I've been in line for 20 minutes. We would just leave but my brother opened some Nuts soooo we are stuck. Walmart needs to have better customer service not just on #blackfriday. If I could give no stars, I would. I arrived at 6:45am to purchase an inexpensive ring ($15) in the jewelry department. I was told that jewelry would open at 7am. I opted to wait. At 7:05 an associate comes around and asks "can I help you?". I told her I wanted to make a jewelry purchase. She advised that jewelry opens at 8am. Thinking this was a mistake, I continued to wait. Another associate walked up and asked the same "can I help you?". I told her I needed help with jewelry. She kindly made a call and told me someone would be right with me. I was starting to feel hopeful. Another associate came by and asked "can I help you?". I repeated my purpose for being in the store. She told me that jewelry opens at 9am. Prior to leaving, I started this yelp review with a one star rating. While typing, the original person that told me 7am, came to the rescue and said someone would be right with me. I must have seen 20 different associates walk by me. Finally, the person who told me 8am came back with a frown. She asked "what do you want?". She was very rude. This Walmart has everything you need, except for cashiers. The wings are always super chunky here. I don't know where they find these big ole birds, but keep doing what you do. There is adequate parking, but this place stays busy. Trying to pull in a spot takes an act of Congress, but it's Walmart. They've got a good mix of what you need and what your kids need. If you go to the self checkout, they do eventually have someone to direct you to the card only line. It would go so much quicker if they brought that person closer to the middle of the line. So, I decided to go ahead and review this place since it seems l will be in line until next year. I love how Wal-Mart sucks you in as the consumer because they have everything you're looking for and the stuff you didn't know you were looking for. If only they can master the art of getting some enthusiastic cashiers then we would be cooking with grease. Normally I come to Walmart in the wee hours of the night or morning (however you look at it), but today I had to come. I only came for some Christmas wrapping paper and socks but you know I grabbed a lot more than that. I have a few other things but not more than 10 items but it seems I'm gonna have to wait a lifetime to get my stuff scanned and get out the door. Pray for me. Even with my stuff sitting on the belt it's taking forever. There are lots of ppl in here and I'm guessing this is taking the steam out of the workers...can I blame them. This store has a tendency to be disrespectful to customers more or less to disabled people. Me and my husband as we are both disabled can't walk far or stand for long periods of times we use the electric carts they have, when they are working. We have a small child so at times I'm not able to put her in the regular cart and walk around so she sits in the electric cart while we shop yes I know no child sign is on it but I'm not going to let her run around and get into to stuff. But from the moment me and my husband came into the store we were watched and targeted from the beginning of the shopping trip. We were there to grocery shop, towards the end of our shopping trip my husbands cart began to die and he went up front to find another and was approached by the door greeter in a rude manner and demanded my daughter get out of the cart I approached the door greeter and and the other associate I let them know we are disabled if something happens it on us not them the assiate who said her name was Angela proceeded to get in my face and scream at me and insault me in a rude manner we then 10 mins later checked out with our groceries, my card has a bad strip so it has to be typed in I do this at other Walmarts I go to as well. It was done twice before in this shopping trip when forgetting something in the store I proceeded to go back and get what I needed and pay for it. I ended up at a cashier who didn't know how to bring up the screen so I can type my card number. so she went and got the other manager who was also rude to me said they were not allowed to type in card numbers which was a complete lie, be in mind I had just done it I asked her to get the manager above her she proceeded to yell at me and insault me In A manner that an employee should not do to a customer she gave me her name as Jackie the third person came over was just as rude and refused to let me buy what I got his name is Dennis Holmes. All three plus the door greeter display a huge amount of disrespect and discrimination against me and my husband tonight as we were shopping as well tonight they thought it be a good idea to follow me and my husband around the store as we picked up what we needed for our home. I've come to this store during the day and have had completely different experience. So I would say if you come to this store plan your trip accordingly and don't shop at that store at night as I suspect the they try to piss people off my experience tonight was awful and didn't need to happen I've noticed they only target disabled people. I went in to the Walmart with my service dog. They kicked me out and told me dogs were not allowed. I told them she was a service dog but yet they kicked me out of the store made me take my dog home I went back and I told the manager if I have a seizure that would be on them he said he did not care the dogs are not allowed in Walmart, so I was kicked out of Walmart because of my service dog and I have severe seizures and they made me take her home. My husband and I visited this location to buy some electronics for a new cabin. When we saw a PAC Man Arcade, we were so excited! My husband after asking the associate in the electronic section unhappily came back saying they don't have one in the box. After 3 more times of having to come back to the same guy inquiring about the same arcade game; my husband was done. "Will you hold your horses man." This was the exact words from the associate , who is still standing behind the kiosk chatting with his coworker. I placed my order, picked my time slot, and they wanted me to get the Walmart grocery app so I can use it to respond to them when I am on my way. This place is pretty consistent for being average. Typically I will have difficulty finding people to help me and that's what I run into most Walmart's. I like the selection. It seems as if this Walmart has more demo products than the others. Things are easy to find with with the Walmart app letting you know where items are. The prices can't be beat but also know that they do not do the price match! Overall this place is average. Also the pharmacy is really slow and closes in the middle of the day for an hour. I started shopping at Walmart because their prices were light years cheaper than Publix, my all-time favorite store. Since I need a handicapped cart to shop, I accepted that only a few were available at any given time. But, there are never more than 4 or 5 in good working order. I have waited for an hour to get a cart sometimes. When COVID-19 struck the world, I had already switched to grocery pickup. It worked pretty well for a while. Then, more and more of my pickup orders had out of stock items. Sometimes for months at a time. As an added help to customers, Walmart created a prescription pickup service. A pharmacy associate would bring your prescription to the designated area and would read your credit card at your car. Which brings us up to my last prescription pickup encounter. Having been called several times to alert me to my waiting meds, I ventured out after promising to pick up my meds on Tuesday. I chose to go Monday instead. I parked in the pickup area, called the pharmacy and settled back to wait. I was told to hold on just in case of a problem. I was finally told the card reader was not working and I needed EXACT change to get my prescription. I had to drive to the bank, get $20.00, then buy something somewhere to get the correct change! I used up a gallon of gas for this because as I stated previously, I need a handicapped cart to get around in a store. I finally found an acceptable fast food place to break the $20.00. Walmart, you need to do better. Today I called the store to speak with the manager about the card reader, but no associate answered the call. You defeat the very purpose and efficacy of pickup with these actions. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to Target, it is worth the extra few minutes to get there. I'm personally a fan of Target but we decided to run to Walmart as it was closer. We had three items and waited in the 20 or less line for over 20 minutes. The other lines were long and with more items, but we watched with envy as they were cashed out a little quicker. In addition, not a lot of checkout lanes were opened. We were sixth in line and by the time we were fourth in line we put our stuff down and walked out. "Storm Watch" shoppers (like myself) are here to get essentials in case it storms and they didn't have the foresight to have more registers open. This Walmart is terrible. I just moved to town about 6 months ago, and where I'm from I used to love going to Walmart, however, this Walmart is nothing but a hassle. I get frustrated every single time I go in here. I only continue to go back because I love Walmart products. But the customer service sucks here, it is extremely unorganized and none of the staff seem to know what they are doing. They have about 10 self checkouts open and 3 actual checkouts open to customers, and half of the customers at the self checkout have no clue how to use it, so checking out takes at least 20 minutes. But I can't do so because they seem to not be able to have the right keys to open the area in which the iPad minis are stored.
