It's just not a good Walmart. We do grocery pick up. And there almost always multiple items missing like they forget to pack multiple bags full of items. We get substitutions we didn't approve of. Once I ordered a candle and when I opened the bag it was smashed into pieces(and the bag had been doubled & tied off to go in my car so whomever packed it knew about it) If you want or need to return anything from your order good luck. The staff there are so slow there's always a half hour long line no matter what, I usually skip and just eat whatever cost. Staff isn't friendly or knowledgeable. We only continue to shop here for basics & because it's the closet location to us by far but I can't wait to move. read more

Would rate negative 1 if I could. When you call the store, never get an answer and the auto center if a joke. I once called the auto center and drove 10 minutes to the store and let the clerk see I was calling when she was ignoring the phone and she laughed. That is the culture there and like Popeyes, McDonalds and Dollar Tree, the culture is "I could care less about customer service" because the people will still come. read more

This store has the worst management!!! I purchased a Christmas tree on clearance the day after Christmas and decided to test it to ensure it works before storing it in the attic. Long story short, the tree did not work properly due to some type of shortage whereas it would not stay lit. I tried to return the item the same day only 1 hour after purchasing it and the Manager Jason (has dreads) said he would not honor the return. He said once a customer checks out at the register there's no refund as the item is sold as-is. Note: This flea market type as-is policy is not posted anywhere in the store. The customer service at this store is HORRIFIC and the shelves are always empty. Its truly unbelievable that this store has remained open. There are other stores in the area that are better managed, better stocked, respects their customers and where I will be shopping in the future!!! read more

Never ever go here to have your car worked on. This place is absolutely the worst in the metro staffed by subpar employees that are dumb and stupid. Went in there at 1:30 yesterday because I needed a new tire. Went to the counter and dealt with a fat black lady who told me they'd replace it and gave me a ticket. Despite having a knee brace, I was forced to stand for 2 hours while they did nothing. They used to have places to sit but they took those away. I went and got a folding chair from in the store and sat in that and they took it away. So I had to sit on the dirty floor because i cannot stand up for that long. Also there was an older lady with a cane standing too. Then, after waiting for 2 hours, they come out and tell me that they don't have my tire after all. They don't even apologize or offer to find me another location. They just hand me my keys and say bye. Then, when I get upset for being treated like a piece of shit, one of them says I'm an "angry white man" (note that all the employees and all the other customers are black here). The Hiram store is awful. They never have cashiers.They only have self check out. Some elderly folk don't know how to use self check registers. I recently purchased a large roll of hamburger $20.00+, and it was spoiled. The staff is VERY, VERY NASTY. THEIR PERSONALITY IS SO UGLY MANAGEMENT INCLUDED. PLEASE DON'T ASK FOR ASSISTANCE THEY ACT AS THO YOU CALLED THEIR 2 WEEK OLD BABY UGLY. I shop at Ingels, Kroger, or Walmart on Dallas Hwy. I have to be desperate to shop at Walmart on Jimmy Lee Smith Hwy. Store# 1586 in Austell, GA. is the most cleanest and organized store that I have seen in Georgia. The Walmart in Douglasville, Hiram, and Lithia Springs aisles and shelves are not organized, clothes items along with other items are on the floor in several areas. When you enter the store you witness carts with boxes filled to the fullest in various areas throughout the store, there are rarely a cashier to check you out and the lines are very long and lengthy with customers. In fascination and curiosity, I walked through the Austell store twice looking for a small box to put items in and could not find one but during second walk-through there was a vendor stocking the candy aisle on the grocery side and I was able to grab two boxes off of his cart. I was so amazed and compelled to share the wonderful experience with the Store Manager, Tyrell Crumpler, who was humble and kind to include a lovely smile during our short chat. read more

I think they give away free food, lap dances, diapers or something at this Wal-Mart. I mean, there has to be some sort of incentive to shop here because the place is always crowded beyond belief. I've seen people pull up and wait 5-10 minutes for a random parking space towards the front to open, and then ZOOOM!, they take off to grab it before someone else can. Yes. It's that bad. It's convenient, I guess. It's Wal-Mart, so they've got what you're looking for most likely. It's never exactly clean, but it's not filthy either. Then again, they're open 24/7 and super busy all the time, so I won't be too harsh on them about the cleanliness. If you're buying any sort of boxed or packaged item, I advise you open it to make sure everything's in there. I've picked up more than a few items that were missing things out of them. If I'm shopping for food here, which is extremely rare, I'm most likely purchasing non-perishables last minute, such as chips, flour/sugar, cereal, canned goods and such. The reason why I can no longer purchase meat is because I've bought meat from here that spoiled the very next day on more than 1 occasion. I planned on making a meal with ground beef that went from red to brown (funky smell included) not even a good 24 hours later. My mom had the same issue with their meat. The fruit always has bugs flying around, even in the winter, and does not look like the produce I get from Whole Foods, Kroger, or Publix. With that being said, they probably have what you're looking for, so have at it. As for me, I'll stick to the lesser-used location on down the road. read more

This is my closest Walmart. I usually come here for my groceries. I feel the produce and all the items look fresh, and they have decent prices. I have no idea why or how, but they always seem full. They have a gigantic parking lot, but it looks filled to the brim. When you go checkout, there are queues a mile long. They have a ton of cash registers. Even with a ton of cash registers, it can't seem to handle the number of people who shop here. They have so many people, the express checkout lanes has a 15 minute late. Just like all Walmarts, you can get anything you want: groceries, clothes, electronics, guns and ammo, dishes, pillows, and more. If you need to pick up some Italian parsley with some 9mm hollow-points, this is a great place to go if you're too lazy to make 2 trips. You can even catch some dinner at the McDonalds inside here. Other than goods, you can buy services here too. You can get an eye exam or get a portrait photographed for you and/or your family. Man Walmart is one stop shop for everything. Walmart (1133 East-West Connector SW, Austell, GA 30106) overall store (especially Auto Center) was a horrible experience and the associates are so rude, which is far from their customer service fundamentals. I've called the auto center at less 10 times between 12:30-2pm and they purposely left me on hold and PURPOSELY hung up on me after I stated my needs. I then called the customer service department requesting to speak with a store manager and the young lady stated "oh shit" before actually putting me on hold and again hanging up on me. I called again, asked her name and she stated she comfortable providing her name but stated she'll transfer me to store manager and hung up. I called again and they wouldn't answer the phone and again place me on hold and hung up. This is poor customer service and very rude practices by uneducated trained associates. I called the corporate office and the experience wasn't even better. I'm so disgusted with Walmart auto center and Walmart (1133 East-West Connector SW, Austell, GA 30106) as a whole. read more
