Getting an appointment online was incredibly easy and they even offer some great deals along with multiple backgrounds and even props. I haven't been to JcPenney since I was a child but this one wasn't any different. The store was huge, clean and packed with different holiday decor and gifts alike. When we entered, we had no clue where to go and this nice woman was at the front of the store assisting anyone who walked in and she guided us to the studio. The studio itself is soooo small! But I can't blame JcPenney, they probably didn't know that their photo sessions would go so crazy but, they have - time for more space. There were seats for about 6 people and our Doona stroller embarrassingly took up more foot space than expected. Business is definitely booming back there though! Despite our set appointment, we didn't actually get into our shoot until an hour later because there was so much traffic. Honestly, that wasn't ideal but we totally understood because when we got into our session with our 8month old - he showed out lol. Leaving us to take an extra 20+ minutes than most probably because we were feeding and bribing a baby to smile. Our photographer was AWESOME. He was incredibly patient, kind and did all he could to make our son smile. We left with a number of great pictures that we'll be able to share for years to come and with their special(s), we walked out paying a little over $100. Not bad at all, we'll be back to snap some shots in the studio again!

Thins are not stocked, messes on shelves and sizes are hanging everywhere. Usually stay clear of clothes shopping. I needed PJs for a sleep study. She totally transformed my very formal evening gown into the most stunning one-shoulder gown, perfect for my niece's outdoor summer wedding. She removed the long train, converted the buttoned halter neckline into an elegant one-shoulder design, and even added cups for shape and support - no separate bra needed! (Ladies!!! IYKYK!) The fit and finish were flawless, and the transformation was beyond my expectations. What amazed me most was that Amy made all these alterations the day before I was scheduled to leave for the wedding. I was really impressed with the variety in styles and sizes they had for wedding dresses. With the help of Amy and Brittany, I ended finding quite literally my dream dress. Though I did not end up getting any alterations here, I am certain that Pat would have done a fabulous job!! 10/10 would recommend going here. I contacted her mid day on Friday and she was able to hem my pants before the end of her workday on Saturday. There was a rush fee added to the price of the hem, which was completely understandable. She was very friendly, and her prices are fair. The pants look great, too. She even does custom design and embroidery work. I will definitely keep her in mind for future sewing needs.
