What a fantastic portrait studio experience!…read more After deciding to buy into the ads from JcPenney on the clock app, I figured that my little family and I could see how a session went there before paying double for a local shoot. Getting an appointment online was incredibly easy and they even offer some great deals along with multiple backgrounds and even props. I haven't been to JcPenney since I was a child but this one wasn't any different. The store was huge, clean and packed with different holiday decor and gifts alike. When we entered, we had no clue where to go and this nice woman was at the front of the store assisting anyone who walked in and she guided us to the studio. The studio itself is soooo small! But I can't blame JcPenney, they probably didn't know that their photo sessions would go so crazy but, they have - time for more space. There were seats for about 6 people and our Doona stroller embarrassingly took up more foot space than expected. Business is definitely booming back there though! Despite our set appointment, we didn't actually get into our shoot until an hour later because there was so much traffic. Honestly, that wasn't ideal but we totally understood because when we got into our session with our 8month old - he showed out lol. Leaving us to take an extra 20+ minutes than most probably because we were feeding and bribing a baby to smile. Our photographer was AWESOME. He was incredibly patient, kind and did all he could to make our son smile. We left with a number of great pictures that we'll be able to share for years to come and with their special(s), we walked out paying a little over $100. Not bad at all, we'll be back to snap some shots in the studio again!

I've been coming to this JCPenney in Hiram for years, and it's one of those stores that feels like…read morea steady part of the community. In fact, this is where I first signed up for my JCPenney credit card many years ago when I was just starting to build my credit. Over time, I've never had an issue with this location, which says a lot about their consistency. The store has moved things around over the years, and while I've noticed the clearance racks seem to shrink every time I visit (and I'm not a fan of the upcharge on XL clothing), the savings on their regular sales usually balance things out. There are always solid deals to be found if you take the time to browse, and the app plus the store card can help stack even more discounts. What I've always appreciated most is the staff. They're consistently friendly, quick at checkout, and always go out of their way to find extra savings. I also always get a warm welcome when I walk in and a thank you when I leave -- small gestures that make a big difference. The store is usually busy, but not overwhelming except around the holidays, and it still manages to feel well-run. For a chain retailer, this JCPenney has always delivered a dependable shopping experience, and I'll keep coming back.

Kohl's has been one of my go-to stores for years, and this location is a big reason why. I've…read moreshopped here multiple times over the years and have consistently had positive experiences, whether I'm running in for something quick or taking my time browsing. This is actually where I originally opened my Kohl's card some years back, and the staff made that process straightforward and easy to understand. Since then, shopping here has always been smooth--from finding what I need to checkout. The store is well-organized, selections are solid across clothing and home goods, and the frequent discounts and rewards make it easy to feel like you're getting good value. Employees have generally been helpful and approachable when needed. It's a dependable, well-run store that keeps me coming back, which says a lot after this many years.

My teenager worked for Kohl's in Hiram, Ga. as a seasonal worker and they only worked for two weeks…read morethen got taken off the schedule for three weeks because my teenager had to miss one day of work due to unforeseen circumstances. My teenager tried to call the scheduling manager, but could not get through to a manager to advise them of their circumstances. At first, I figured it was due to less work available, but later I found out that there was still a labor shortage. With the Economy in the state that it is in now, there need to be better managers and leaders with good people skills, organizational skills who value their Employees! Horrible Management and Horrible Employee inclusion!! I called the Hiram store location several times over a month and could not get through to a manager and when I got a chance to speak with the scheduling manager it got worst! I asked what happened with the schedule and they said they needed to speak with my teenager, so I got my teenager on the phone and then they said my teenager needed to come to the store. So after we spoke with both managers, they said again my teenager needs to come into the store, then I said okay after a few minutes of frustrating conversations. So I asked, when will the manager be available, then they said they could not give the information out. What! I had agreed with them, then they said they could not give me that information. It sounds like they had no intentions to resolve this issue. So here we are. Why are we wondering why we have a labor shortage? It is clear that we need competent leaders and managers who know how to manage people and treat their Employees well! I have reached out to corporate because this was one of the worst experiences I have had to see my teenager go through. No parent wants to encourage their children to be independent and learn good work-life balances and work ethics when the people in leadership do not understand it.
