I found everything that I was looking for but this store is in need of a remodel. I haven't been in this store in at least a decade. I've moved back to the area and needed to stop in here today. It wasn't busy at all and I found what I needed quickly and was on my way. The inside of this store hasn't been remodeled in years and it shows. The parking lot is filthy. There's a lot of garbage and giant pot holes. And nearly every cart corral that I saw was busted. It's obvious that corporate has forgotten about this Walmart. It's a shame because the people in that area need that store and deserve it to be remodeled and the parking lot safe. And the workers deserve a better store too. read more

Yesterday I ordered a pickup order at 1pm to be picked up between 6pm-7pm. At 7:03 they hadn't even started picking the items so I cancelled. I tried today to a delivery order, which they started promptly. however within 3 minutes of starting they had marked half of my order as "not available". so I cancelled it, and drove up to the store only to find every single item I ordered was not only available but stocked fully. while in the store I was struck by an employee coming around the corner of an isle with their pallet full of items. no excuse me, no sorry for hitting you, nothing but a blank stare. conclusion this walmart is full of lazy, inconsiderate, degenerates. cancelled walmart+ and will not step foot in here ever again. read more

This store has been remodeled and the parking lot has been fixed. The store looks great! It seems they have more help and the produce looks great as well. Hopefully it stays that way. It will last as long as the management stays on top of it and doesn't allow it to fall into the familiar way Walmarts usually look. The previous way it was drove me away from the store always looking disheveled, the employees just there to kill time and no sense of pride in the place is run and looks. Right now it looks great. So now I don't have to drive 8 miles further to Krogers. I genuinely hope it continues. read more

Of any Walmart in my area, I have the best luck at this one (inside). I believe this is because it is less busy and more off the beaten path. It is usually somewhat organized, mostly clean, and has decent inventory. I have found some good clearance plants in this garden center. Overall I am not fond of Walmart, however during this stay at home time, I have turned to them for their Grocery order online, drive up pickup service. It is free, their inventory is the most up to date, and they offer perishable and non perishable items. I tried this for the first time several weeks ago. It is easiest to download the app, although you may use your computer too. Search through items, add them to your cart, then choose a pickup time window. Right now, despite how busy this service is, I was able to get second day scheduling. You have until 12hrs prior to your pickup window to add or delete items. Once the order is picked, you ahead of time receive a notification with any items out of stock. When you arrive, if you have the app, you can use it to check in. If you do not wish to get the app, there is a phone number listed to call for check in. My order was brought out and loaded into the car within 5 mins. The lady offered to sign for me so I didn't even have to touch the ipad! Of everything they were only out of 5 items! I hadnt chosen substitutions but the lady told me I should always choose that option because they will usually give you something more expensive for the same cost. They notify you ahead of the subs and you can decline or accept at pickup. I will definitely allow substitutions next time! I will for sure use this service again as everything was correct and in good shape! read more

I have lost my mind, went to Walmart Amelia today. I hate this place due to horrible/ no service. I'm always at Kroger for this reason. On sat afternoon, can you guess how many lines were open? Yep-1! I was considering leaving my cart of groceries. A second lined opened, she had putty on us. She could not find the manager to get permission. The manager came by moments later and said " turn your light off"! On the way out I spoke to the manager, she said the typical, no help, I would have left my groceries too. Back to Kroger's where they take pride in customer service/ experience. read more

I love shopping at the Amelia Wal-Mart. I travel often and this Wal-Mart has the friendliest and most courteous associates/employees. This store is the cleanest and most organized I've been in from coast to coast. They've always have what I'm looking for in stock and on the shelf. If I'm not able to find something, I just ask...the associate is right there to assist me with a smile. The cashiers are quick and accurate and there is little wait if any, when I am ready to check out. When traveling to the Cincinnati area, as I do often, I choose to shop the Amelia Wal-Mart and highly recommend this location to other shoppers. read more

The place is so gross. Shelves are a wrecked mess and you and clearly tell nobody takes care if anything. Open items on the floor that people have stolen out of. Place needs to close for a week and be cleaned up. read more

This supercenter grocery will often be out of products and during certain times of the month they will sell most of their meats ... they don't restock during the day. You must watch the fresh produce because they are not on top of pulling bad produce off the shelf. This is a bland supercenter. They have always lacked the nice displays and more like the others I have been at. Leaving much to be desired. The deli counter has much help but they won't wait on you. They will actually look at you and walk away. However, the bakery is a delightful surprise ....great service and wonderful work. Very seldom will you find many check out lanes open. Even on weekends you will be lucky to find 4...then they are backed up. But they will have some one standing there saying she is directing the cashiers. Beware....this store often displays one price on the shelf and it will be another at check out. You basically have to take them back to show them ....sometimes it is a few dollars. Something is missing in this store.....employees lack pride. read more

Went to Walmart today to get school supplies! A lot of items are out of stock (example: 24 count crayola crayons). So many counters but none is open. Then you get the only counter open she was complaining the whole time!! I just don't get it!!! If your so miserable on what you doing then leave instead of making everyone feel that she's doing everybody a favor for doing the exact job she applied for!!! Walmart has really dropped the ball this time. I live across from it so I usually shop there but I have been trying to get a few basic things to get through my 10 hour a night work week and was starting to run low on food. I realize it isn't their fault that people are very inconsiderate, but at the point of really needing to eat and Walmart looks like a nuclear site that took out all the food and paper supplies, unless you can live on a diet of Easter candy It is not the place to go. Kroger is limiting quantities of basic food items so that you can buy some food there. I'm totally done with Walmart. read more

Terrible service. We waited 45 minutes at the fabric station and nobody came even when they announced it over the intercom three times. We ended up cutting our own fabric. Then the lady at the cash register didn't know how to multiply 3.97 by 2.5. Crazy. I looked everywhere for employees and there were none!!! They were all outside buying girl scout cookies. read more

I've been going to this Walmart for almost a decade and have zero complaints. If you buy produce from this store, you'll soon notice that other grocers produce isn't as as fresh or tended too as this one. You always see employees working the stands checking for the quality. I love this store not only for the cleanliness (bathrooms are always clean too!!) but also for the nostalgia and low prices. read more

This is the closest grocery store to me that sells most national brands. Unfortunately I will have to stop shopping here. Yesterday I stopped by for some soda and some grapes. While I was walking down the isle I was on Walmart's Wifi and attempted to search the weekly ad at Jungle Jims, and was welcomed with message that said the website was blocked. So I turned off wifi, reloaded the website for Jungle Jims and found the weekly ad. I searched for 12 pack of cokes sale price, great 4 for $11, so $2.75 each I thought! Grabbed my 4 packs of Coke and then grabbed some grapes. Went to self check out, called an assistant over to the register so I could show her the ad for the price match. She pointed to a blue sign at the register that says they no longer accept any price matched items at their location. She said we don't price match any longer here. WHAT?!!! I've been shopping here for a long time, I buy groceries every week and have always pulled up the Kroger or Jungle Jims as as they always have sales on Coke products...it's the ONLY thing I ever price match while I buy produce, meat, and frozen items that I normally buy at regular price. So this really irritated me and so I told the lady she can have someone else put the shit back that I'm leaving. They charge an outrageous price for Coke products!!! $4.68 or more for a 12-pack (not as bad as Dollar General or Convenience Store but close). I will never shop at this location ever again, I will drive the extra 7 miles to Jungle Jims, screw Walmart...their ONLY advantage was price match and location. Nothing else is good about them, it's a terrible corporation that competitively puts out local grocery stores and pays people slave wages while the CEO's bring home the bacon.
