Nope! I love love love me some Aldi, but NOT this location. I was in the area and had some time to…read morekill before my take out was ready, so I was psyched to check out a new location. If you don't know what Aldi is about, its a no frills discount retailer, that does carry high quality items from food, to stuff for around the house. Theres no music, no bags, no cart retrieval, and minimal staff.. all ways that they keep prices so low despite the products being great! During these ever changing times, they had a cart cleaner outside and the normal requirement of a quarter for a cart was waived. Inside aisles were clearly marked for one way and 6ft social distance. I thought KY had a rule in place for 1 member per household. Sadly while the employees were themselves being safe, they were not enforcing safety throughout the store. There were multiple families of 6 with no masks touching their faces then touching nearly ever item in the specialty aisle (straight up thought I was going to vomit). No one was following the clearly marked one way direction aisles. The store stock was ok, but the specialty aisle was fairly bare. Compared to many other locations I have been to, the flow and organization here was also super odd. I think ill just stick to my home store, which is clean and safe.

Big Lots always has a great selection of things from cleaning supplies to furniture. You can find…read moreinexpensive things here but there are also some products where you're like "oh okay...I can get that somewhere else for cheaper." I would definitely come here for some decorations and random things like socks or a hair tie. Check it out! You'll never what you'll find.

And the values are extreme, alright...so much so that I have often found myself here looking for a cheap item or two. Accessibility: I've seen better but I have also seen worse. If the buttons on the door don't work, it can be a pain to get in or out. Do bear that in mind, and if you use a wheelchair, make sure your foot doesn't catch any displays. Aisles could stand to be a tad wider in spots. Price: Well...it's Big Lots. They have some nice deals, some of which on things I have NEVER seen at Remke-Biggs across the street (Larry the Cable Guy branded seasonings, anyone?), but also some standard brands you'll find in other stores. Nice. Experience: I've not run into any flat out unfriendly employees, but at times have had the vibe that some don't really want to be there, they just are to pay the bills. Maybe that's me catching an employee or two on a bad day. Finding things I want can be a hassle, but once I've got them, I get through fairly quickly. Overall, Big Lots gets a 3/5 from me. Maybe the next time the store gets a makeover, whenever that is, make the aisles wider and make the front doors truly automatic, and this will get a better rating.

This is my fave TJ Maxx location in all of greater Cincy. They tend to have the best selection and…read moredeals. It is much bigger than it appears from the outside. It is always well organized, well stocked, and staff is friendly. If you don't know about TJ Maxx, they sell brand name items for crazy discounts. There is clothing, purses, jewelry, bath and body, shoes, house wears, kids, gifts, and a HUGE homegoods section. My favorite is the astronomical pet section. There is an entire aisle of just pet beds! Be warned, come in here looking for one thing, and leave with a cart full of others. I don't think I have ever left without purchasing at least 1 item.

There are a variety of flavors of hard scoop ice cream as well as shakes and sundaes. The prices are low (can get a double scoop on a waffle cone for less than $5). I have friends that are cautious because it's "gas station ice cream". They're just missing out. In comparison, their competition Graeter's does have a creamier consistency. The service is wonderful. Love the workers here, they're always quick and kind! I also stop here at least once every couple weeks to fill up gas and they consistently have low, if not the lowest price in the area. The parking lot is not ideal, however there's always an open station to fill up.
