This was the 4th Snooty Fox I went to on this day. I was on a paid bus tour of Snooty Fox locations. Look on their website and you can join in on one of these tours from there. I was with a group of 12 ladies. This store had a lot of nice home decor pieces and I thought the prices were not too bad here. I found a couple of clothing items I took home from here. I stick to the sale racks because I am an avid thrifter and this is a consignment shop not a thrift shop so the prices are typically higher than what I paid for clothing. this place treats you TERRIBLY!!! I just witnessed someone purchasing over 40 items, and the women up front were shaming her and talking down about her! A very slender middle aged woman working, " this is ridiculous ", etc. NOT encouraging her or thanking her for shopping; but disrespecting her right in front of other customers!! HOW awful I could see the young woman was feeling very badly and offended.... This should never happen!! This same woman with the nasty attitude, has disrespected me before at another store! WHY do you work here if you don't like or enjoy people? Shaming someone while making a purchase is cruel. I felt badly for her!! read more

Great for selling clothes! Good value. Employees must be overwhelmed because they are not as friendly as they used to be. Furniture - I sent a truckload of furniture, all good & only received $300. No accounting of what food for what but everything sold very quickly! Disappointing at best. read more

While on a hunt for a desk and patio furniture, I stumbled upon The Snooty Fox. From everything I had read/heard I was expecting a full furniture store. What I found was a boutique style resale store. One side of the store is clothing. The other side is dedicated to primarily furniture, and home decor. There is an area towards the back that has clearance clothing. Want to visit both clothing and furniture? Don't worry, the two stores are connected. I did not look at any of the clothing. What I did look at was furniture and home decor. Furniture is a limited selection. I was not able to find the items I was looking for. Furniture they sell is indoor not outdoor, so no patio furniture. I'm not sure if items at The Snooty Fox are on straight consignment, or if they operate similar to stores like Once Upon A Child; where items are purchases outright from the public, then sold in the store. I did overhear an employee talking to someone about items they wanted to sell. They are "snooty" when it comes to condition. "No scratches, dents, or imperfections may exist," as the employe said. They try to sell items that appear to be brand new. Prices seemed generally reasonable. There were some items I expected to be less. That is to be expected at resale shops. There being a $1 area did take me by surprise. I am unable to speak to their level of customer service. The only employee was engaged with a customer when I arrived. She was then on the phone by the time I left. No interaction with employees occurred during my visit. read more

They need to change the name of this store to rude instead of snooty. Employees can't be bothered to answer questions and when they do it's as if you are bothering them. Don't waste your time or money here. Their limited inventory is not worth being talked to like this by employees read more

This weekend I was on a mission to find a sturdy piece of furniture for under $20 that could hold a filled aquarium. My wife loves Snooty Fox for their clothes. I'm not into clothes shopping though. She and I have an understanding. She likes to shop, so she buys the clothes, brings them home and if I like them I keep them. Otherwise she returns them. She doesn't mind. That way she gets to go shopping again... So this Snooty Fox has probably the 2nd biggest furniture selection of all Snooty Foxes. I think the biggest collection is at the Harper's Point store. It was easy to browse, and the lady behind the counter was helpful, not that I really had many questions. I didn't buy anything here. In the end I found an great hardwood tv stand that was the perfect size at a Goodwill store. However, it's still fun to browse this store. There are lots of good deals on good furniture as well as all sorts of decorative knicknacks. Yes, it is all consignment , so it may look a little used, but everything seems to be priced accordingly, and sometimes a little used has more of that warm and inviting look than brand new. read more

This review is for the Beechmont store. Good bargains at the 3 stores I visited( Westchester, beechmont and forget name of location). Decent used Pottery Barn kids furniture among other stuff. I would have rated this 5 stars however the employees at this store are lazy. I visited November 12-13th, 2014.When I asked if I could hold a piece of furniture at the counter the woman with a snooty attitude told me the counter was full. There were no shopping carts. Like I am supposed to walk around with furniture while I shopped? There were two older women working there and both were too busy talking and didn't have a friendly attitude. Fi I hope the owner reads these reviews. The Westchester store employees are way nicer. Otherwise, I am happy to shop at Snooty Foxes and got the Platinum card. Have fun shopping at this store which had amazing goods when I visited but don't expect any service. read more

I took in a really nice (faux) tree for which I originally paid more than $150. These people sold it for $10, which netted me $5! I would've been much better off to sell it myself in a yard sale or perhaps off of Craig's List. So, if you have something of high value, I would recommend that you not trust Snooty Fox to make you any kind of profit. I'm actually appalled at the stupidity of the pricing on many of their things -- way too high on low-value items and way too low on high-value items. I'll never take any of my things in there again. But then, if you're SHOPPING for (rather than trying to sell) something of value, I'm sure you'll get a real steal at this place! Just at someone else's expense.... read more

I consigned lot's of designer clothing with Snooty Fox clothing stores and literally received no more than $5.00 on each item sold. Pants & Tops purchased for $150.00 on up sold in their store for $8.00 to $10.00. Great value if you are SHOPPING for sure! Needless to say, I won't be consigning there again!! read more

Hate, hate Snooty Fox in Anderson. The store has nothing but crap and I have never received anything for the nice things I have brought in - some still had tags. Unbelievable!! People who work there are rude and unprofessional, I am talking about the clothes store not the furniture den although I wasn't too impressed with that section either. I have read other reviews and they are mostly negative. I think the store and the people who work there need a reality check. It was a very disappointing experience and the people who work there need to take courses in how to deal with the public. It should be called The Snotty Fox. read more

This review is with regards to the clothing store; doesn't necessarily reflect the furniture den. I have been a consigner with many shops and I never speak to anyone in person or on the phone that makes me as mad as this shop does. They aren't computerized yet so the effort needed to answer questions is greater than others. They get short with you and "snooty" if I do say so myself. Not a good thing if you ask me. I was talking to a lady there and she said, "I can't answer that for you." over and over. What the heck? I think it is in an effort to hide details from the consigner. They usher you in a way that you just want to say, "forget it" and leave your unsold items behind....so that they can continue making money on your things. Think about it...if they accept your items, they are worth picking back up if they don't sell. They claim to donate your items to a good cause but who really knows? I don't get it, I can't ever get the answers I need. Picking up my things because I am not appreciated as a consigner. If you think about that...they are no one without their consigners. Recently became a Consignment Customer with Snooty Fox. Some of my items sold within one day. I stopped by to take a few more items and also to check on other consigned items. I was told that many of the items I brought in were not up-to-date. ?Frames were outdated. These were very expensive pieces of Artwork and the frames would never go "Out of Date". I also asked about a pair of lamps that were brought in the day before, when I was there. They had been priced, but, had already been marked with a 50% off tag. When I asked why that would happen when the items were only there for one day, I was told that the Store Managers come through and mark down the items that they do not feel are sellable or are not "Up to Date". These were beautiful hand painted lamps and would easily sold for the original price, had they been given the chance. I have read so many complaints, just recently, about Snooty Fox, that I am seriously wondering if the store can be trusted. We consign to make money. We do not consign JUNK. And, yes, the accounting system is not to be trusted. And, yes, you can literally be accosted by an employee, just for asking for information about your account. However, I will admit and give Due Credit to the employees who are nice and very helpful. They do exist, you just have to know who they are. AND AVOID THE RUDE, SNOTTY AND NASTY ONES. BEWARE, BE CAREFUL AND MAKE A LIST OF ALL ITEMS OR ASK FOR ONE BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE, WAIT FOR IT TO BE DONE. IT IS YOUR BEST INSURANCE. read more
