It seems legitimately old and worn, if its a reproduction someone has some serious skills. I read that a lot of items come from Asia (I saw a lot from India) and apparently they have buyers that just go out and look for this type of eclectic furniture in bulk and one offs. Rugs are some of the best deals I have seen (good quality and good price). If you need a piece to really stand out (and no one else has) this is the place to go! They also have free popcorn and fruit drink in the front for customers!

The customer 'service' is a total joke at the corporate level. I've been trying to get my items replaced for 406 days. This is what I have to show for $11,000. ** extra funny - they blocked me on Facebook for conversing with other patrons about similar experiences I guess, otherwise it was just from sheer embarrassment of their products and have been working hard to delete my yelps too, if you need proof of purchase I'd be happy to provide it, this review is totally legitimate, like it or not.

I called the store a few days later and asked for Beth. She wasn't there. Taymee is who I spoke to instead. Taymee was unpleasant. She treated me like I was a burden. Her tone and sighs clearly indicated she was uninterested in answering my questions or helping me place an order. She put me on hold at least 5 times, tried to rush me off the phone, and said she'd send the quote to my email and I could just call back and deal with Beth later. I never received the email. Beth contacted me a few days later, and again was lovely. I wanted to see some chairs I was considering in person so Beth said I could come to the store to see them, but she'd be on vacation so Taymee could help me. I reached out again asking for the quote via email and Taymee did not respond. After a few days I sent another email which Taymee did reply to saying simply "I sent the quote. Here it is again". No greeting, no let me know if you have questions... I noticed on the terrible picture she took of a printed quote my email was incorrect. I replied with a friendly message to let her know. I again received a short, unfriendly reply "Okay. Thank you." Your customers don't care who gets commission. We expect kind, friendly, courteous, helpful customer service no matter who we talk to. And at your price points you should offer nothing less than exceptional customer service. I'd be happy to forward the email correspondence. Just provide an email address. I expected much more from your company. In the next 1-2 months I'll be spending up to $20k in furnishings and it's unfortunate it won't be with Arhaus.

It looked like it had some very unique pieces, so we ventured in. We were instantly greeted by a very friendly, genuine lady. You could tell from the start she was so enthusiastic about the products and loved her job. She begin by telling us about their outside product lines which include customizable couches, and then practically gushed when she got to telling us about the things they make themselves. After seeing the gorgeous urban live edge tables I could see why. I am now dying to have them make me a table, and maybe some shelving, and more. Also, all of the artwork featured on the walls for sale is by local artists! After chatting with her for a bit she directed us to the 7 floor sister store 2 doors down. Urban Timber, located in an even larger store next door sources salvaged logs from our area, as well as Upstate NY (my home!). They involve the customer in every step of the process from picking their piece of wood, to measurement, shape, and even the base. The wood is completely dried and finished on every side making it a lifelong lasting product. While the prices are not inexpensive, you are truly getting a value for the high quality you are receiving. It is an investment. At the time of our visit a nice gentleman gave us a tour and if we had the time he wouldve taken us upstairs to where they make the tables. A sign out front mentioned free delivery. Super impressed with everything at these two locations!

Legacies has a reputation of being a high end consignment store. It has some very nice pieces…read more That said, customer service and accounting accountability are lacking. I sent several photos in of rugs, picture, and houseware goods for consideration. Legacies took the rugs and picture. A rug and picture sold. I was told they had too many lamps on my first visit; the second visit they were taken. I received one check and cashed it. When I checked in person to see what else had sold, Donna told me I was to expect another check in the $40 range the first week of November. That was inaccurate. I talked to Stephanie Aldridge, the manager, who tap danced around my issue. I asked her to talk to Donna about the mistake. I asked her for an accounting of what I had sold. She thought I asked about cashing of the first check; that was not the question. I knew the first check came in and it was cashed. She made a mistake and didn't acknowledge it either. She said checks are mailed the first of the month, but to expect them when the mail delivered them. I have one more check for $15 to be delivered in December. Stephanie finally agreed to send me the accountant's statement of date, piece, cost, payment, which should have been sent as a matter of course. This is basic business. One has to keep business transactions straight and accurate. Legacies doesn't contact the customer when anything sells. You have to wait until you receive a check or ask in the store. There is also a $2 charge for every check sent, which is unnecessary, particularly with relatively small payments. I asked Stephanie to let me know when the last date was to sell the remaining rugs. She didn't answer that question. I told her I didn't want the rugs donated and that I would pick them up on the last date. She decided to simply put the rugs in her office and I could pick them up, which I will do. I have done business with a reputable consignment shop for years. They take everything I have because they know it is quality merchandise. I am hardly the only person who has had trouble dealing with Legacies. I suggest you find somewhere else to consign your items.
