The workers were not very friendly nor helpful. I asked questions and they couldn't answer them. Good prices though were there.

I'm a 2008 alumna of Miami of Ohio, and while I was an undergraduate I happily parted with some of…read morethe money I earned working on-campus on clothes from this boutique. I didn't buy new clothes that often, so when I did, it was a very special occasion. I have so many fond memories of the beautiful, unique items I bought here. I have a great memory for what I wore during special events in my life, and many of the items I bought here I associate with looking fancy on certain dates and for class presentations. Last year I returned to campus in the summer because Oxford was a stop on a week-long cycling and camping tour. This meant I brought very few cute clothes on my journey. As I wandered about uptown, I saw in the distance one of my favorite professors from undergrad getting Starbucks, which meant that she'd eventually be back in her office for me to stop by and say hi. But one can't catch up with important people looking like a scrub who's just cycled 50 miles! So quickly I dashed into Juniper, bought a fabulous summery casual dress and a striking hair tie, changed my outfit in the store, stashed my athletic shorts and tee into my purse, and headed over confidently to Hall Auditorium. Juniper did not fail me in having excellent options and reasonable prices even with the passing of the years! The selection of items for sale is so wide for such a modest store: tops, bottoms, dresses, swimsuits, fancy underwear, jewelry, and beauty products. The fitting rooms in the converted elevator shaft are a unique touch. And the location in uptown couldn't be better!

Cute, trendy, affordable clothes/shoes/accessories from off-the-beaten-path designers. I've gotten…read moreso many compliments from people all over the country on things I've worn from there. They're well-made and different enough to stand out from all the Gap/Old Navy, Express/Limited and Pacific Sunwear/Wet Seal clones. They have great end-of-season sales, too! The shop owner is friendly and helpful, but the college valley girls that work there are a little less than that. Oh, well.

This 5-Star Review for Sassy Shannon!…read more I was shopping for a nice pair of black shoes at Roderer's when I came across a style I liked -- unfortunately, the last pair and was a half size too small. As I continued browsing, I found two pairs of loafers I really liked and went to look for the male salesperson who had initially helped me. While he was engaged in a discussion with another staff member, Shannon noticed me and kindly stepped in to assist. She was friendly, attentive, down-to-earth, had a great attitude, and made me feel like a valued customer right away. I showed her the shoes I wanted, and she took it from there with professionalism and a smile. It turns out my feet have actually shrunk -- I now need a half size smaller! Shannon went to the back to get another size for me. In the meantime, I decided to try on the first pair (the ones I thought were too small), and to my surprise, they fit perfectly. When Shannon returned with the smaller size loafers, they fit well but slipped off my heel. Without missing a beat, she added another layer to the insole, and just like that -- they fit perfectly too! Sassy Shannon turned my shopping trip into a fantastic experience. I left with two new pairs of shoes and felt as excited as a kid with brand-new kicks. Thank you, Shannon!
