I had my new Camaros oil changed here about 2 months ago. This is where I have gone for years. I will never go here again. By the time I got home after the oil change, all of the oil had leaked out because this WalMart did not put my filter on right. They did not resolve my problem properly when I contacted them. I was put on hold for way too long and disconnected. Too many times. When I finally was able to speak to someone from the oil change department. The manager wanted me to have the car towed back to them at my expense. So they could investigate why all my oil spilled out. I finally just had a neighbor mechanic put a new filter on right and new oil. Anyway when I went to this Walmart the oil change department would not refund my money for the oil change. They did reimburse me for all the gunk oil degreaser that I needed to clean all of the oil off of the bottom of my car. And for the oil on my driveway. I feel I should have been reimbursed for all of the oil change. They caused me a lot of hassle and waste of time. And costed me money in the end. This oil change department treated me as if this situation happens a lot. Like It was normal and no big deal. Who knows what kind of damage this caused to my engine. My mechanic said there were metal shavings in the oil filter that they wrongfully placed in my car. I will never go here again and would not recommend it for anyone else. read more

As stated in my previous review, Santa Clarita is like the bane of my existance. I feel like Reese Witherspoon's character in "Sweet Home Alabama," whenever I tell people where I grew up. Hoping maybe they won't be nearly as appaled as I feel ;) Anyway, while on our Wickes excersion, my boyfriend wanted to stop at Wal-Mart. I took him to this fancy pants new one because it was closest to where we were at the time. I have to say, major kudos to this Wal-Mart. This is a Super Wal-Mart, with food and an eye exam area etc. Also, what really impressed me about this one is that they have sky lights all throught the store, so during the day, they use natural light instead of electric lights to light the store. The store is neat, organized, and easy to get around and check out. I was plesantly surprised. read more

Made a pick up order that was supposed to be ready by 11 am the next day. The next day comes, it's midnight. Still not ready. I cancel, and place another and set a time to pick up. Still nothing. I guess nobody works at the pick up department and nobody answers any of the phones. read more

The good number of associates seem very willing to help you with a smile on their face on the sales floor. However having the break room by internet pick up is not such a great idea. Especially when you press the "help" button and it takes 10 minutes for an associate to come. Meanwhile at least 20 employees are wandering in and out offering no assistance. Not to mention, when I pressed the button, I got cut in front of by a old lady with no pants when I was in front of her. read more

Whatever happened to good-honest customer service? This is going on for almost three weeks now that I've wanted to buy two pair of Khaki George pair of pants but seems to me nobody wants to lift a finger! I've approached Bernard and he told me that next time to ask his store assistant manager's to help me out. Nobody seems to want tho assist me! Ok, I usually have great experiences here at this Walmart, unfortunately yesterday was not the case. I was returning something without a receipt and the Customer Service Manager, I believe her name was Debbie or Denise (a blond/lavender haired woman) was helping some associates, all while listening to her ear piece and complaining. Stating she's the only one that can do anything around there, with a horrible tone and even worse demeanor. So when the associate helping me needed her help to override something, she looked at the register and states "this is the last time I'm going to return anything for you" all the while while addressing me. So I asked her how many things I had returned as of lately and she said 3, but that she would do this 4th thing, but that's it. I believe the total of the items I previously returned were under $10 dollars, but she made it seem as if I was taking the store for all they had. However, that wasn't the worse part, as I was shopping for the items I needed, I later saw her talking with another associates who needed coverage at the door for when customers leave, to have their receipts checked. She then proceeds to start mumbling, am I the only one who can do anything around here this place, seriously? I'm sorry Walmart, if this is who you have representing your store as a CSM, I would rethink your choices and really look into the people you have representing your store. They are the face of Walmart - Stevensons Ranch, and I wouldn't want someone outright complaining, where customers who are spending their hard earned money can hear them. Ok. This Walmart is kind of understocked, and minimal variety. It's weird...customer service and everything else is pretty average, No complaints. But seriously whoever runs this store and the buyers for this store are terrible. I heard most people that live in that neighborhood drive to the Walmart on newhall ranch anyways...its much further away but at least the Walmart isn't depressing. I had a great experience here yesterday (3/13/19 4pm). Julissa helped me right away as soon as I stepped up to the online pickup counter. She located and processed my order quickly and efficiently. Then she even personally went and found someone to help me out of the store with my mini fridge. She found David to help me, who not only brought the mini fridge all the way out to my car, but loaded it inside my car as well. Both employees were cheerful and helpful. read more

One of the closest Walmarts around with a massive section of everything one could need for your home, office, kitchen, camping, fishing, sports, electronics etc! The main reason I come here is because they sell ammo at great prices! Heck, they are only 1 of two Walmarts that sell ammo within LA. All the other Walmarts around here don't, which blows. Hard. I don't get it. This is still America, and what's more American than a Walmart? Probably guns, ammo, alcohol and BBQ. No matter, Walmart has you covered on every single aspect of how to be an American. Great camping section as well. Tons of good knick knacks from lanterns to tents, sleeping bags, cots etc. This is our go to stop before heading out to the desert for some camping, they pretty much have everything a man (or woman could ask for). Need to blow even more money? Hit up the tool section! Tons of great tools at great prices. This aisle is also a must on any stop to Walmart for me. They recently started to sell alcoholic beverages as well which is nice if you want to load up before said camping trips or if you just happen to be an alcoholic living in Santa Clarita which I'm sure accounts for about 74% of its population. So either way it's a win win. Yes you have to pay for a bag but get over it. If you're THAT LAZY then drive up to the 126 interchange five minutes way where they don't charge you. Doesn't bother me. I now have an huge stock pile of reusable bags that I would have never bought in the first place. Love me some true American mass consumption. God Bless Walmart. read more

The Walmart experience keeps getting worse and worse. It seems like every time we come here something that we're looking for is out of stock. They never seem to have enough checkers anymore. They want you to do self checkout which we hate. And now they have locked up the pain relievers. Not opiates but ordinary stuff like Tylenol and ibuprofen. You have to push a button to get someone to come unlock it. To get Tylenol. And when you push the button all of the employees get notified and everybody thinks that somebody else is going to help you. Took 10 minutes to get someone to get someone to unlock the cabinet for a bottle of Tylenol. And did I mention that they don't have enough checkers. read more

The pay online and pickup store thing is a joke. In the time it takes you to stand around and wait after you use their touchpad to call an associate (about 10 mins), to the time it takes them to find your order and bring it to you (another 15-20 mins because no one can actually find it where it was supposed to be in the back because "someone must have moved it"), you could have found it yourself in the store, stood in the checkout line and been home. Twice. Do yourself a favor, don't do it. Another "why do I even come to Walmart" moments. No thanks. read more

we forgot our toothbrushes, paste etc...basically everything other than clothes. this it directly across the street from the fairfield/residence. no worries...we got toothbrushes for 50 cents! and they are colgate brand...not some crappy offshoot. i tend to forget my toiletries often...i am so not a girly girl. as long as i have clean underwear, comfortable shoes, and a hairbrush (which i keep in my car)...i am good. oh ya...and i can't forget my purse that keeps all my theme park annual passes. that is the most important thing in my purse. read more

My review is of the photo center. Today I went in to print out vacation pictures from my phone. I had no idea how to do this via the kiosk. Luckily for me, Carol was working in the photo center. She was very nice and patient and helped me through the entire process. I am very grateful for her help today. I hope Walmart is aware of what a great employee she is. read more

I knew they wouldn't going in have the paint they USED TO HAVE but is it asking too much that the paint shaking machine work? I bought a paint that was as similar to the Consumer's Reports CR rated best value one (Kilz Casual Colors Semi gloss interior and Exterior paint) so I'd get close to the white in the can as to what I bought years ago and true to CR lasted for 15+ years. I knew more about paint than the Walmart worker and while he was to his credit actually in the paint area (a rarity) he did not know anything about the products. Surely Walmart provides training to their employees. He could not figure out how to make the paint shaker turn on. Why have a paint mixer if no one knows how to turn on the machine?! At least this Walmart (Old Rd.at the south end of SCV, Stevenson Ranch) had a decent paint area unlike the one on Newhall Ranch Road at the north end. It should not be so hard in the USA to find competent employees and the product one is looking for. At least unlike Home Depot, Walmart had a 15 year semi gloss exterior paint with which to touch up my porch. read more

If you go in after 11:00 pm, there is usually long lines at the checkout because there is 1-2 open checkouts even though they've got plenty of people on hand to put goods on the shelves. Fix the problem. We've complained before and they don't seem to care. Poor management. Go to the other Walmart on Old Rd. in Stevensons Ranch. I gave an extra star because when we finally got to check out, the clerk, Lori, was very nice. read more

Husband and I are not from this area, but last night during our spur of the moment venture to LA, our car overheated and we found refuge in the Walmart parking lot. This morning we went inside around 7am and found everything we needed, used the restrooms which we super clean, and overall found our experience to be very pleasant. The store was nice and organized, clean, and the staff were friendly! Not sure why they have only a little over 2 stars, but if you'd like to relocate to the Bay Area, we'd be happy to shop at this particular branch. read more

I never use self check out either, but when I do, I expect for the computer to be honest. I didn't realize until I got home that I was charged $12 for a $7 bathroom rug. That is highway robbery! I wish I could give this pharmacy a negative five stars! The level of incompetence at this Walmart pharmacy is UNBELIEVABLE! I really can't even believe that they let these people handle prescriptions !! I've wasted at least two hours at this place trying to fill one prescription !! To top it off the pharmacist never even told me how to take the medicine, she spent 10 minutes with the customer ahead of me telling him how to be a pharmacist ( WTH) and less than a minute telling me that she didn't have a clue as to why they charged me ( and not the insurance company) for my medication . Then I had to get back in line to get a refund for the pharmacist error, which took another 15 min. UNBELIEVABLE read more

It's a Walmart. It doesn't exceed or fall short of any expectations you'd associate with any other Walmart store. It doesn't have a produce or fresh food section, which helps cut down on the crowd if you're not altogether interested in doing your grocery shopping at a Walmart. I will say, the self check out aisle is extremely beneficial and helps for purchases that are only a handful of items (particularly since the people waiting in the express line can't seem to count and exceed the maximum number by double). read more

It's Wal*Mart. If you're expecting a thrilling, luxury shopping experience, you've been living on another planet. The service is so-so, and I've found that the most helpful employees also tend to be the creepiest. Because of this, I usually just wander until I find what I need rather than asking for help. The People of Wal*Mart website also applies here. There are some things I just can't unsee. I guess it's clean, but again, it's Wal*Mart. I certainly wouldn't eat there. They are very close to my home base, though. And sometimes, their prices and convenience are unbeatable. Like mostly everyone, we've gone through our rough times and have had to clip coupons and pinch pennies. I prefer to go elsewhere, but when it's 11:30 PM and I'm in the death throes of a flu, I will go to Wal*Mart and get my NyQuil and get the hell out rather than driving the extra distance and spending the extra money. It sucks when their lines are long, but usually during waking hours it's not too bad. Especially if the garden center is open -- use that checkout, apparently no one in Valencia goes to Wal*Mart for plants. read more

I came in the store tonight looking to buy a pair of black pants, easy and simple. Pants have varied on how they fit, you got slim, straight, and so on. So I needed to try on the ones I picked which were only 3. Headed over to the fitting room, no one there. Found someone in the men's department asking her if she knew why no one was a the fitting room. She didn't know but did look for the person who was working there. Couldn't find the person. She asked for help from someone else. She said that the fitting room was closed but there was not sign posted of it being closed or what the hours are for use of the fitting room. She found a supervisor but was not available because they we getting the money. She also looked for the Assistant store manager but was no where to be found. His name is Bryce. Communication is very much lacking at this store. No one in charge is ever available. Not sure what they are doing, but from my experience tonight they were just not there. read more

This review is for 05/17/2012. It has been over a month since I have written a Yelp Review. I've been so busy lately that the only thing closely related to doing anything Yelp was CHECKING IN. Since my Dodger Games have been occupying most of my life lately, I had an opportune time to get an autograph from past and current Dodgers at FanFest 2012. So, I had to get a bucket of baseballs at Walmart. This Walmart can be easily seen on the I-5 when you are headed to Valencia, off of the Lyons Exit. This location opens at 7am and is very convenient for those who want to do a quick shopping trip before getting stuck on the I-5 or 405. There is plenty of parking spaces...ESPECIALLY at 7am. The parking lot is not as big as the Carl Boyer, but much cleaner than the Panorama City Walmart. There was only a few customers inside and no employees in sight. I've never been to this Walmart and I have no idea how I got to the sports section without looking at any signs directing to me. I saw sporting good section. Apparently, there were only two buckets of balls left (Eight balls a bucket for $14.97 each). There was a gap. I guess someone in the area is going to Dodger FanFest. As I was walking out, I still did not see any employee. I even used the Self-Checkout. My total was $16.28. I noticed that there were no bags, but I am not sure if it is because the City passed no plastic bag rule or just no one stocked. Again, I didn't see any employees. As I walked out, I was getting hungry for ice cream. I kept thinking that I was walking out with a tub of strawberry ice cream, but all I had were 8 Balls.....to sign, not tell my fortune. It's wal-mart. What more can you ask then for simple convenience, large selection and cheap prices. This place is definitely convenient, and definitely cheap. They have everything from stationary to kitchen items to protein shakes to lawn chairs to electronics galore. Just be careful of what you buy, because the quality is not always that great. Otherwise, this wal-mart has a redbox for rentals and also a McDonald's inside. read more

I hadn't been here in many years since there was a Super Walmart that had opened a few years ago nearer to my home. I forgot how darn HUGE this one is. I didn't even look at all the isles. There was a much more extensive selection here as I was looking for vacuums with hepa filters and ended up buying one here. Of course because it was Sunday the store was packed and there were gobbs of people clogging all the isles making navigation with my cart that was veering to the right super difficult. I really dislike crowds and may have perused further through the store if it weren't so mobbed. The lady who checked us out was super rude and dismissive of us but what do you expect as I'm sure she deals with tons of annoying patrons non stop all day long. There was a selection of desk air purifiers that I will go back to look at because I haven't seen them any place else. read more
