I was looking for a serious jewelry repair in Santa Clarita. First time I checked Yelp. My best decision was choosing Gold Time. Edward is a very friendly and kind person. I felt very confident leaving my jewelry with him. His work was fast clean and I think it was a fair price. Thanks for your work Edward.

My husband got me a paper clip link silver bracelet with three freshwater pearls for our anniversary. So beautiful! So delicate and so feminine. I just love them. I also had a broken gold anklet chain soldered as well as a broken-off piece from a gold-plated hoop earring. The final item was a rare high-grade sugilite silver ring I had purchased back in August that needed gentle polishing. Everything was perfectly done. I had come in the week of Thanksgiving and all of it was done by the second week of December. Make sure to say hi to Dalia while you're there. Here's the pricing: $150 for restringing pearls and replacing the clasp and tongue; $40 for soldering the earring part; $35 for soldering the gold chain on the anklet; $50 for tightening the diamond on the engagement ring (they added more platinum to help secure the setting); and $70 for gently polishing the sugilite ring without scratching it! I will never (ever ever ever ever) shop or use Zales' services again…read more I'll try to keep this short. I really should contact their corporate office. It's been over a year and I just couldn't get myself to continue working with them after they completely messed up my wedding ring. I originally took it in for a repair. No idea what I did, but the middle band was bent pretty badly. They quoted $50 (which was way less than I figured) so I went ahead with it. When I got it back, the gold spacer had been removed, the 3 bands didn't line up vertically or horizontally, and the prongs were crooked. Now, I'm a pretty easy going person and typically not one to complain when something isn't "perfect", but this is my wedding ring- I want it done right. I wanted it back looking like new, or very very close. Spoke with the manager and she agreed it wasn't a good job. She said they'd put on a brand new prong and return it looking like new. I should add I was without my ring for months throughout this process. When I got it back, apparently the jeweler had done a "repair" to the inset diamonds on one of the outside bands. You could see the soldering marks (I guess that's what they do). Very sloppy job. They tried to pass off the "fixed" prong as the new prong they promised. The solitaire somehow must've gotten chipped as well because it is *so sharp!* I constantly get scratched, my young daughter gets her hair caught on it, etc. I told them I wasn't happy with the repair and I just wanted my ring back! Months go by and my husband bought me a sapphire ring- from Zales. Ugh. I had told him to stay away from that place, but bless his heart! I had to get the new ring sized at Zales. I wasnt going to say anything, but I did. Of course they remembered me. Even though some time had passed, they remembered how bad it was. The manager said they'd get it all fixed up, the new prong etc etc. I gave them another chance (and spent $500 at this point). When I got it back it was still so sharp! I told them that before- it kept scratching my daughter, who was 5 at the time. She even chimed in and said it kept hurting her! The manager said I could bring it back for repairs, but I haven't- I am still just so angry and honestly, terrified of the jeweler's incompetence. Anyway, I'm sitting here with a daily reminder (every time I get scratched, my daughter gets scratched, a shirt gets snagged etc) it's a reminder of the crappy job they did. Totally messed up my wedding ring. I need to go get it fixed, but it won't be there!!!!!!!
