I took two rings over, one to get resized from a 7.5 to a 8.5 and another ring to get stones set. They said it would take around 2 weeks to finish but did it in just 1 week. We were a bit taken aback at the quoted price, but it made sense after a brief explanation from Caroline. My request for a clean and polish was added at no charge. It was promised to be ready in 4 hours. Conveniently located in the Valencia Mall, passing the time was very easy. We went to have lunch and did some shopping. We returned just under 4 hours and her necklace was ready. The clasp was perfect, like it was part of the original necklace. The diamonds and chain sparkled better than new. The repair has a 3 month warranty. The necklace is old and very sentimental to our daughter. We're grateful to Fast-Fix for taking great care of it.

Thankfully I found it, but the prongs needed to be replaced. They repaired everything on-site (which I really appreciated--they don't send your jewelry out), and the turnaround was fast, efficient, and done with so much care. They did an exceptional job. My ring looks perfect again. On top of that, they were by far the most reasonably priced option I found, which made the whole experience even better. They also recommended bringing my ring in every six months to check the prongs and offered free cleanings, which shows how much they genuinely care about their customers and their jewelry long-term. If I ever need anything repaired again, this is absolutely where I'll be going. Highly recommend.

I spent months researching the ins and outs of silver, what made things valuable, what hurt their value, what percentage of silver different types of coins were... But I was still way in the weeds on how the process works. What I really needed was a "silver guy." Someone who could look at what I had and give me an honest assessment of its value. I read reviews of multiple precious metals sellers in the SCV, and I wasn't really pleased with what I was reading. One, in fact, apparently used to be really great and then then got sold, and the new owner left a bad taste in the mouth of many of his most recent customers. Then I came across Bryon and SCV gold & silver, and his reviews were, forgive the pun, sterling. Everyone noted how nice he was during the process. No one talked about feeling like they were being taken. And that's the thing I've learned during this process, silver has a value... It's a pretty set value... So the thing you are looking for when you are selling is what percentage the house takes from that value, and whether or not the broker feels trustworthy, makes you feel comfortable while doing the transaction. I 100% got that from Bryon. I felt like I didn't need to count my fingers after we shook hands. He's a genuinely nice guy and it was a pleasure doing business with him. He was honest and upfront about what the current weighted value of silver is, he had absolutely no qualms about me checking to make sure what he said was right, he even found a gold coin among the silver and identified it as such and paid me going rate for it. Someone else would have taken advantage of me not knowing what I had. I cannot recommend Bryon and SCV gold & silver more. They are absolutely trustworthy and good people to work with. And I can't stress the value of being nice in a business like this. If you have precious metals to sell, I wouldn't hesitate to go and see these guys. If I could give more than five stars I would.
