We had…read morededicated a month to shopping around and learning everything we can about what we should be looking for in a ring. Ro Ma was the first place we went to. It was funny because Noelle was our Sales Associate and I remember her saying "Feel free to shop around, you'll be back" and she was not wrong. We shopped around mainly in Orange County, but this place had our heart from the very beginning. They walked us through EVERYTHING. It was very education forward and did not feel sales pushy at all. We figured out what size my finger was, we looked at what kind of bands I liked, and they put the stone over my finger so I would get an idea of what the ring would look like. Of course, they had the chart out that showed us where certain stones were ranking in terms of color, cut, and clarity. When we were done browsing, they set my partner up with a profile and provided notes on every little thing that I liked so that he would not have to remember when it was time to make the purchase. While I'm not too sure what went on between the time I went in and I got the ring, I do vaguely remember my partner telling me the jeweler (Eli) had a whole mock up of the ring on his computer to show him how it would turn out. My partner proposed in November, and I'm so obsessed with my ring. I get so many compliments on it. However, the story doesn't stop there! We went back to look for wedding bands in February and Eli introduced himself as the man who made my ring and he remembered EVERY LITTLE DETAIL of it. He even remembered the size of my finger! I was thoroughly impressed. He was very honest with us and said we could come back in August to buy the band because he wouldn't need 8 months to create the wedding band. I appreciate the honesty and it's not about making a quick buck here at Ro Ma. We ended up purchasing my wedding band in August 2026 with Eli and Tania. I'm shocked after a whole year later, they still remember us, my finger size, and the specs of my ring. Tania also told me to come back in before my wedding to get the ring cleaned up and she also said it's a good idea to have it looked at to make sure that the prongs are still looking good. I really appreciate that they genuinely care about their products and their customers. I would highly recommend coming here for any jewelry needs!

Without reviewing the local shop, let's just say he did a terrible job adding 2 links and a new (dead) battery...no wonder he insists on cash. When I got a good look at the workmanship (not) and saw 2 link pins sticking out the side of the watch, I asked around for other referrals. I was NOT going to take it back to the same guy. That's when I heard about Valencia Time Center. From the time I walked into Valencia Time Center, I could tell I had found the right place. I was immediately greeted by a friendly associate. After explaining to him what had happened with my watch, he gave me a fair estimate. After a minute, Duane came over and discussed with me his ideas to fix and realign the links to where they should be placed. It appeared to me the 18k gold had been bent by the other guy, but Duane was able to make whatever magic alignment adjustments in a way that corrected the mistakes and made the watch look perfectly set again. He knows his craft well and obviously carries the right tools to fix what is brought in for repair. This watch is very special to me. I thought it was damaged forever. I will never (ever ever ever ever) shop or use Zales' services again…read more I'll try to keep this short. I really should contact their corporate office. It's been over a year and I just couldn't get myself to continue working with them after they completely messed up my wedding ring. I originally took it in for a repair. No idea what I did, but the middle band was bent pretty badly. They quoted $50 (which was way less than I figured) so I went ahead with it. When I got it back, the gold spacer had been removed, the 3 bands didn't line up vertically or horizontally, and the prongs were crooked. Now, I'm a pretty easy going person and typically not one to complain when something isn't "perfect", but this is my wedding ring- I want it done right. I wanted it back looking like new, or very very close. Spoke with the manager and she agreed it wasn't a good job. She said they'd put on a brand new prong and return it looking like new. I should add I was without my ring for months throughout this process. When I got it back, apparently the jeweler had done a "repair" to the inset diamonds on one of the outside bands. You could see the soldering marks (I guess that's what they do). Very sloppy job. They tried to pass off the "fixed" prong as the new prong they promised. The solitaire somehow must've gotten chipped as well because it is *so sharp!* I constantly get scratched, my young daughter gets her hair caught on it, etc. I told them I wasn't happy with the repair and I just wanted my ring back! Months go by and my husband bought me a sapphire ring- from Zales. Ugh. I had told him to stay away from that place, but bless his heart! I had to get the new ring sized at Zales. I wasnt going to say anything, but I did. Of course they remembered me. Even though some time had passed, they remembered how bad it was. The manager said they'd get it all fixed up, the new prong etc etc. I gave them another chance (and spent $500 at this point). When I got it back it was still so sharp! I told them that before- it kept scratching my daughter, who was 5 at the time. She even chimed in and said it kept hurting her! The manager said I could bring it back for repairs, but I haven't- I am still just so angry and honestly, terrified of the jeweler's incompetence. Anyway, I'm sitting here with a daily reminder (every time I get scratched, my daughter gets scratched, a shirt gets snagged etc) it's a reminder of the crappy job they did. Totally messed up my wedding ring. I need to go get it fixed, but it won't be there!!!!!!!
