We came to Fast-Fix to have the broken lobster clasp on our daughter's diamond bar necklace replaced. We were a bit taken aback at the quoted price, but it made sense after a brief explanation from Caroline. My request for a clean and polish was added at no charge. It was promised to be ready in 4 hours. Conveniently located in the Valencia Mall, passing the time was very easy. We went to have lunch and did some shopping. We returned just under 4 hours and her necklace was ready. The clasp was perfect, like it was part of the original necklace. The diamonds and chain sparkled better than new. I brought two designer necklaces in for repair involving three different solder points. The necklaces were originally 16 and 18 inches, and the original designer does not offer 19-inch versions. After the repair, one chain was one inch longer and the other three inches longer. I have before-and-after photo references and receipts showing the original lengths. When I asked questions about how my necklaces could have grown inches during repair, the staff became defensive and rude. I was even called a "psycho" for questioning the length difference and told I was harassing them for mentioning I would post online. They also refused to connect me with the jeweler who worked on the necklaces to explain what was done. Even with a police officer present as a neutral witness, they refused to answer basic questions about the repair or explain how the chains became longer. I do not recommend this business due to poor service, lack of transparency, and extremely unprofessional behavior. read more

I did not plan on staying at the mall, but it turned out to be a very pleasant impromptu shopping session. Needless to say, I came back around 6:40pm the same day (a bit of a cushion as a courtesy). I dropped off my Tissot watch last Sunday for a battery replacement. I mentioned to the lady who took my watch (and showed her) that the watch is almost brand new and I'd like someone with experience to replace the battery to avoid any damages or scratches on the watch. She mentioned they'd wait for their watch expert but I need to wait longer. I said no problem, as it's not something I use daily. I received a call the same day, stating that my watch was ready. When we got there, a different lady (I believe her name was Sandra) was there who gave me my watch. When I looked at the back, I saw a few scratches on the back plate and a few scuff marks on the side. When I mentioned the scratches, she immediately dismissed my comment, and responded that, "if you have any problem, talk to the owner" with an unpleasant voice. She mentioned the owner would call me which they never did. I called and explained the situation and long story short, they told me the issue is fixed. I picked up watch today and it looks exactly the same. Whoever, the gentleman on the phone was very polite and that's why I didn't give them a single rating. I won't be going back to them which is not great for us since we have been a customer the 5 years and it seems like the management/quality has gone down. read more
