Not even a "Hello I'll be right with you." When we finally did I was told piercing stops an hour before closing. That was the 20 minutes we waited!!! Second time same thing. I rushed to take my daughter there after work. We got there 5 minutes after. Just 5 mins after the hour and was told the same thing. We just had our daughter's ears pierced for the first time, and was she excited. She couldn't sleep the night before in anticipation. That afternoon we meet Levi and he was really easy going and good with our daughter. After picking the earrings she wanted, he explained that if anything happens to the earrings we bought (lose the backing/stones or any damage happens), just bring it back and it would be taken care of. The actual piercing went really smooth, after marking the spot for the earrings, both Levi and Daisy tandem pierced my daughter and took a second and it was done. Afterwards, Levi asked if we wanted to buy a second set of earrings for 50% off, which my daughter picked another pair and bought for her. Again, Levi stated that the second set of earrings we bought would be covered if anything happens/damage to them. They even put a bottle of ear cleaner to clean the new piercing! We paid and left. (I should have checked the receipt) After we got home I checked my receipt because I thought it was a little more expensive than what I calculated in my head (about $25 ish more). Here is where it kinda annoyed me. They made it sound like for the price of the earring/piercing ($50+) it came with a warranty if anything was wrong with it. I was charged an EXTENDED SERVICE AGREEMENT for the first set of earrings without being told that (1) I will be charge (2) not given an option to decline. After looking down on the receipt, I saw I was again charged for an EXTENDED SERVICE AGREEMENT for the second set of earrings without being told that they would charge me. And on top of that, the small bottle of ear cleaner that they put in my bag which I thought came with the piercing, was also charged EXTRA......my daughter was so happy with her new piercings that I didn't want to bother going back and ask about the extra charges that I wasn't informed about, but we're charged after the fact. So this was my experience with the Piercing Pagoda, Levi and Daisy were super cool in piercing my daughter's ears, but I was not happy how I was charged extra and not informed of those charges prior. I would have liked to be given a chance to decline or accept those charges. read more

I just got my piercings last week which was done by Daisy. All earrings looked gorgeous despite the price! But that's not why I gave it 3 stars. I'm satisfied with how patient Daisy was when she pierced my eyes. I am freaking horrified with needles but she waited for me to calm down and assured me that I'll be fine. I used headphones to calm me down which was alright for her :) The subtracted 2 stars as I informed her that I would need to take off my piercings when I have work. She then recommended me to use the clear retainers they sell so that my newly pierced ears are not going to close while I work. I asked her if I can take my earring off and if it would fit through the holes, and she said yes. I took 2 of the earrings 6/7 days after and tried putting the retainers on but it wouldn't fit and caused my holes to bleed. IT HURT LIKE A LOT. I didn't have a choice but to just leave it without any earrings when I worked for 7 hours. When I got off, I tried putting the ones I took out but one of them unfortunately closed already. I went back to the store and asked if they have thinner retainers or if she can put the ones she sold to me but she said I can only put it after it heals. I never recall her telling me that. Because of that, I need to wait until I have a really long work vacation so that my ears are going to recover after getting pierced again which IDK when will happen.. I'm just disappointed I can't wear one earring I just bought.. read more

We had a bad experience at Claire's a while back so I was apprehensive. I got my ears pierced unevenly as a baby and came in for my second piercing. I told them that I eventually wanted to repierce my original holes since they were uneven, but for now I just wanted my second piercings. Jenny and Daisy kept in mind the fact that I wanted to repierce my first holes and made sure that my second holes were even. They definitely know what their doing, Jenny was the one who actually pierced my ears but she always asked daisy on her thoughts about wether my ears were even or not which made me feel super comfortable because a second opinion is always good. You can tell they want your ears to look perfect. They even considered what type of earrings I wear to decide where the piercing would be so that my ears wouldn't droop as I got older. My piercings came out great, I would 10/10 recommend. I plan on coming back soon! read more

The girl at the register was nice and helpful. Minus one star for manager being overly persuasive to make me buy their insurance for each piece of jewelry. They have pierced my ears on two different occasions. The first time was in May to re-pierce my third holes. Sydney (whom I am told no longer works there) was very nice and professional. It has been many, many years since I had my ears pierced, so I was a tad nervous. She made me feel really calm and relaxed and ready for the re-piercing! She went over ear care with me (which has changed a little in the last 20 years). The second time was this past weekend. I have wanted my upper cartilage pierced for over 20 years and I finally did it! Lisa, the piercing specialist, worked with me on what earrings to use and even helped my friend. She was very professional and informative. The piercing was nothing, didn't hurt at all. And again, they went over ear care with me. I have called them twice since the ear piercing because our account was charged twice. They were very nice and patient with me. I also told them that I was allergic to the ear care product (I am allergic to pretty much every thing, so no big surprise) and they gave me options to take care of my ear. If I were to get another piercing, which I'm thinking about, I wouldn't hesitate to have it done here. I am also looking forward to buying cute hoops for when I can change my earrings, I will do that here too! They have great sales and friendly and knowledgeable sales people. read more

One star because I can't give none. I bought the warranty for the $50 screw back earrings I got for my daughter. I was told that if the earring or back was lost it would be covered. Lost the back not too long after I bought them, came to the store and the girl asked if it was just the back or the whole earring. It was just the back and she said sometimes they're defective so if I ever lost the whole thing they would replace it because sometimes the screws on the posts are defective. Sure enough, the whole earring ended up lost, so back I went. This time according to Levi, the condescending store manager, he can't honor what I was told by his employees because he can't give away free jewelry. It was hardly free. Aside from being upset that I was uninformed/misinformed about the warranty, Levi was rude and dismissive. He did refund the warranty charge but what's the point as the whole reason I bought it was just in case this happened...and now girlfriend has only one useless earring. Due to Levi's inept customer service, I will never purchase from Piercing Pagoda again and will let my friends know my experience as well. read more

I drove all the way from Pasadena, literally through smoke and ash (due to the wildfire), to get my little one's ears pierced by the talented Mr. Levi, after receiving countless recommendations from families across Los Angeles... seriously! And it was totally worth it! This charismatic young man was so efficient, he had a great demeanor, was so patient with my 3 year old, and with her perfectionist mother, and was very meticulous himself, making it super easy for everyone involved! I have always had a good experience with Piercing Pagoda. I bought earring on January 4th to wear in my wedding. I was very excited because my ears didn't react and get infected when I wore them. Less than three weeks later I noticed that my earring fell out of my ear! I was devastated. I spent the extra 10$ to get a warranty...turns out it is an extended service fee. I went back to see if they would replace my earring (which I was told that PP has the best earring backings and they never fall out). The manager was so rude. I have worked in costumer service, and I have never been treated so rudely. I told her (Lisa, I think was her name) that it fell out, and she told me "You must have done something to make it fall out. If earrings just fell out, then we wouldn't have a display." (I informed her of the stupidity of that comment since they are all resting in a display case with no where to go.) She then proceed to demonstrate that their earrings don't even come out if you pull on them. She then tugged on her earring, and of course it fell out. I understand that she was upholding company policy not to replace lost earrings (even though their backing failed), but I honestly was shocked by the rudeness of her answer. I was taken back by her, and I actually started crying. I called the customer service and informed them of this incident because I don't think that sales associates (especially managers) should ever talk to customers like this. I was not mad when I came up to her. I didn't even get frustrated with her until after she was blatantly rude. So after 108$, I am out of a pair of earrings. read more
