    This is based on the online/pick up order I placed. I was in the market for a single electrical burner and anything I found everywhere else were not priced within my limits. (Some even went up as high as over $100!!!) I found it here for less than $15! I had to grab the opportunity. Located at Hilltop Mall, parking was never going to be a problem. Although I opted for a curbide pick-up, I decided to just claim it myself inside since there were a couple of things I wanted to get for the house. (I realized I wanted them after putting in the online order. I figure I could use the walk.) And I found everything I needed as well as wanted! There were a couple of bargain buys I ended up with. I walked up to customer service and told them about my online order and it was given to me in less than 20 seconds. Service with a smile! Good first run! And I'm glad - my experience with other Walmart's are mediocre at best. So glad I finally found one that's above par! Will most likely return!

    June 5, 2021 Excellent customer service! A young lady with beautiful pinkish red hair went to get the manager for me. I thought I left some clothing June 2, 2021. She went over and beyond to help me. I never met a manager so calm and friendly! This young lady went though ever Avenue to help me. I told her if she couldn't get to the camera person. I would come back another day. I told her I wasn't positive if I left my item plus I had no receipt! She made it happen! Unfortunately I didn't leave my items. Now I just need to figure out where they are! They had no more of the items shame on me!

    Place is unorganized and dirty customer service is horrible. Long lines always no cashiers and not friendly.

And right now I'd rather go to Emeryville and risk actually finding some thing I can buy, rather than come here and look around. Actually, I'd actually go to an actual Nordstrom store because I know they're gonna have what I want. It may not be at the price that I want, but it will be there!

    Last night, 12/16/25, I was very disappointed with my experience at this store…read more I was looking for hosiery and asked a staff member who was restocking if they carried thigh-high tights. The associate responded with visible irritation, looked at me as though I was inconveniencing her, and handed me knee-high tights in a dismissive manner while saying, "Is this it?" I clarified that I was looking for thigh-highs, not knee-highs. Rather than engaging further, I chose to walk away. When I reached the checkout area, there were only two employees present. One was assisting a customer with an issue that ended up taking approximately thirty minutes to resolve. The other cashier was juggling a long line, around seven customers, while also helping someone who had returned to the store to have a security tag removed from their purchase. Eventually, the associate handling the unresolved issue asked for help from a manager, Joey. I assumed this was to assist with ringing up customers and reducing the growing line. Instead, the associate explained she was unable to provide a gift receipt despite trying multiple solutions. Joey, the same manager who had been dismissive during my hosiery inquiry, responded rudely to her employee, gave her an unpleasant look, and instructed her to repeat steps she had already attempted. Rather than stepping in to resolve the issue herself, Joey walked away entirely. As a customer, this was shocking to witness. The associate had been trying to resolve the issue for thirty minutes, and as management made no effort to take over, support their employee, or acknowledge the long line of customers who had been waiting patiently. Instead, the associate was left to try the same unsuccessful steps at multiple registers. Management showed no awareness of the situation on the floor, no urgency to assist customers who had been waiting for an extended period, and no respect toward their own staff. Especially during a busy weekday evening and the holiday season, this lack of leadership and efficiency was unacceptable. Nordstrom Rack, effective management should be able to read the room, support employees, and keep the store running smoothly. Experiences like this negatively affect not only customers but also staff morale, and ultimately reflect poorly on the company as a whole.

But I won't go into detail but a return I needed to do...not money back, just exchange but since it was a fry pan I used Once ....i was told at another store, I couldn't bring back! As an 83 yr old woman....i wouldn't give up! I called another DD's and an asked for a mgr! Well, an absolute amazing man named Caesar took my call & heard my problem & didn't hesitate to rectify & do an exception...understanding the defect in the pan! He is what a mgr is all about!! He really cares about his customers & they come first! I hope he is appreciated & he definitely saved a good patron of DD's!! Kiddos to Caesar!! And the security guy was excellent too, but didn't get his name! I miss Laray, other secutity on vacation! I know I spelled his name wrong...sorry! You guys made my day!!

Prices are much lower than Ross, with lots of handbags in the $5.99-$10.99 range. The other clothes are of the cheapest possible quality, as opposed to Ross's odd lots and close outs, and crammed onto the racks. Then again, prices are very low: $5.99 for a turquoise velour hoodie. Fitting room is clean and staff are very friendly.

    The service at this location is lacking…read more I arrived 1 hour before closing. There was only one other customer and 3 sales associate. One associate was helping a customer at the register. I browsed and grabbed shoes I was interested in as I waited about 10 minutes for the transaction to finish. Neither of the other two associates asked if I needed help, while I waited for the primary associate. She asked to assist once she finished and I showed her several shoes I was interested in. She began looking up shoes in my size. The previous customer returned because he was given two different shoes. The associate who was helping me stopped helping me and began helping the previous customer. I waited another 10 minutes and kept browsing selecting other shoes, while they sorted things out. The primary associate eventually came back to me. Once she came back to me she told me the price of one set of shoes. I informed her that I was interested in several of the pair I placed on the counter. She looked for the shoes but didn't have the sizes. I went to try and find more shoes. Instead of continuing helping me she casually started working on a store matter (not helping another customer). This is when I decided to leave a review.... One of the other two associates greeted me and asked if I needed more help. I asked her if she could have helped me the entire time and she didn't respond. Instead, she begin helping me but she didn't know how to work the store's system, the two other employees didn't know the store address to set up a delivery for ordering shoes, something the primary associate offered. The primary associate did not offer any help to associate who tried to assist me. Eventually I gave up. This location has a nice layout and probably a decent selection when not impacted by holiday shopping, but the service is severely lacking. I DO NOT recommend.

Workers seem clueless to what's going on seems like somebody hired all their friends not one person has any customer service skills.
