A retail aisle at Dollar Tree in Pinole, CA, features various school supplies and stationery items. The shelves are stocked with notebooks, coloring books, and art supplies, including Crayola crayons and colored pencils. Price tags are visible on the products, and the aisle extends into the background with additional merchandise. The store has bright lighting and a tiled floor, with a green sign indicating value deals.

Pretty basic Dollar Tree. Something new to me was that you can pick up Amazon orders at this location, according to the sticker on the door. The store was decently stocked but it's the holiday season, so I wonder if that's why it isn't fully stocked. The workers were efficient and got the job done!

Side of store where a parking lot is. - The image shows a store window at night, decorated with numerous red balloons and streamers, likely for a celebration or event. The window is illuminated from inside, revealing some of the store's interior. A hedge runs along the bottom of the window, and the building's exterior features a sloped roof and a small light fixture above the window. The scene is dark outside, emphasizing the bright decorations and interior lighting.

There's so many Valentine's Day things right now !! Get them before their gone ! Balloons , gifts , chocolates , bears , etc ! Nice workers most of the time! They change out so often so if they aren't the nicest they won't be there long usually anyways. They have a great parking lot situation there's one on the side of the store as shown in the picture, and in front of the store they are both shared parking with other stores nearby ! I hate how early they close it's a bit hard to get your shopping done before closing if you're a procrastinator like me LOL. Thanks for reading hope this helped !

    Everything a $1.00.

Halloween, Christmas, 4th of July, they've got you covered for all the things you need but really don't want to pay full price for.

This place is OK. I say that because it is the smallest Nordstrom rack I've ever seen, and…read moretherefore it doesn't have a very large selection of things to buy. Usually in other places when I come across a rack, I can spend hours perusing the store . This is not my first time coming here to buy something. However, I noticed that every time I buy something I leave empty-handed. The most successful thing I have managed thus far is to return some thing without any problems. But I could've done that anyway. The selection isn't fantastic. It isn't comprehensive. And right now I'd rather go to Emeryville and risk actually finding some thing I can buy, rather than come here and look around. Actually, I'd actually go to an actual Nordstrom store because I know they're gonna have what I want. It may not be at the price that I want, but it will be there!

Last night, 12/16/25, I was very disappointed with my experience at this store…read more I was looking for hosiery and asked a staff member who was restocking if they carried thigh-high tights. The associate responded with visible irritation, looked at me as though I was inconveniencing her, and handed me knee-high tights in a dismissive manner while saying, "Is this it?" I clarified that I was looking for thigh-highs, not knee-highs. Rather than engaging further, I chose to walk away. When I reached the checkout area, there were only two employees present. One was assisting a customer with an issue that ended up taking approximately thirty minutes to resolve. The other cashier was juggling a long line, around seven customers, while also helping someone who had returned to the store to have a security tag removed from their purchase. Eventually, the associate handling the unresolved issue asked for help from a manager, Joey. I assumed this was to assist with ringing up customers and reducing the growing line. Instead, the associate explained she was unable to provide a gift receipt despite trying multiple solutions. Joey, the same manager who had been dismissive during my hosiery inquiry, responded rudely to her employee, gave her an unpleasant look, and instructed her to repeat steps she had already attempted. Rather than stepping in to resolve the issue herself, Joey walked away entirely. As a customer, this was shocking to witness. The associate had been trying to resolve the issue for thirty minutes, and as management made no effort to take over, support their employee, or acknowledge the long line of customers who had been waiting patiently. Instead, the associate was left to try the same unsuccessful steps at multiple registers. Management showed no awareness of the situation on the floor, no urgency to assist customers who had been waiting for an extended period, and no respect toward their own staff. Especially during a busy weekday evening and the holiday season, this lack of leadership and efficiency was unacceptable. Nordstrom Rack, effective management should be able to read the room, support employees, and keep the store running smoothly. Experiences like this negatively affect not only customers but also staff morale, and ultimately reflect poorly on the company as a whole.

They play fun music that sometimes makes people spontaneously break into song and dance in the aisles. Okay, maybe I'm painting an exaggerated picture here - it's not like a musical - you need to go to the Oakland store for that level of engagement ;) The Richmond store aisles also feel a bit more spacious than other branches of the GO and staff members are usually friendly. Anyway, the Grocery Outlet is becoming increasingly useful for anyone on a budget (check out Ethical Bargains) and especially anyone who's trying to adopt a more sustainable, plant-based diet. Meat and dairy substitutes can be expensive, so this is one of my main reasons for going. The other is red wine - it can be a lot of fun trying to find excellent wines there and some are on sale for a fifth of the normal price. Current wine tip: Sebastiani winery. Overall, I think that the Grocery Outlet deserves 4/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on these factors: * Stocking food that would otherwise be in danger of being tossed out because of packaging changes, overstock, imperfections, or looming expiration dates, is part of a solution to the huge problem of food waste. Around 30% of food is wasted globally, contributing 8% of greenhouse gas emissions. * GO stores have been trending towards stocking more plant-based and organic food. * The Grocery Outlet stocks a good number of brands that rate well, ethically. For example, Miyoko's, Cascadian Farm, Dr. Bronner's soap, Treeline vegan cheese, Beyond Good chocolate, etc.) * The Grocery Outlet brings plant-based food (meat substitutes like Beyond Burgers) within reach for those on a budget who want to live a more sustainable life.

After having dinner at one our regular place, Google maps directed us north this time to get onto the freeway. After traveling two blocks, we came across this Grocery Outlet and had to check it out. It was a stand- alone store and it had its own large parking lot. This store is large, spacious with wide aisles compared to typical stores. Large displays of items and there were many hot buys and deals. The refrigerated section of produce, meats, deli and dairy covered the back wall of the store. The store was well stocked and carries a lot of inventory in each category, so you get a lot of options here. Scored on mangos at $.50, Guinness pretzels at $.50 and 22oz organic granola for $1.99. This is one of the better GO stores that I've shopped. A good store choice for you Grocery Outlet shoppers if you're in the area.
