This dollar tree is crowed and full of merchandise, it spills off the shelves. The pluses: the merchandise seems well priced; there is a large parking lot. Parking Lot is hectic. A small parking lot with little space to go through. I figure how to enter the parking lot but getting out I had to use the exit on the other side. Dollar Tree in El Sobrante isn't small. A bit bigger than Pinole location. I have gotten good service from this location. Shopping at Dollar Tree can be hectic. Plenty of people love shopping at Dollar Tree. It is a hit and miss on finding Alka 65 Alkaline Water. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the Dollar Store. I had never been to one. While the parking lot was trashy, the inside was orderly and clean. The staff were helpful and I emwas able to get the balloons and snacks to add to the birthday gift basket that I was making for my friend. read more

Dollar Tree's personnel is very helpful in locating goods i wanted. getting in and out is another matter. oncoming traffic moves fast, one lane signals ok to cross, other lane is gunning engine. so had to gun engine to get in buys: fly ribbon (1) -name brand only has 4 rolls, generic has 6 notes: -would come here for the service, fast check out (2 cashiers) -heavy traffic inhibits fast entry and exit. -large parking lot. read more

I have visited all (5 total) Dollar Tree stores between Pinole and Berkeley. Of the five, 3 suck, and this is one that is pretty nice. The store is clean and orderly. They have a lot of the basics, I buy a lot of cleaning supplies and small toys from here. The store is smaller than my other favorite Dollar Tree, which is to be expected considering its location and proximity to another Dollar Tree that I pass to come to this one. My only complaints are the small parking lot; and not being able to take the shopping cart out of the store, which sucks if you plan to buy a lot of stuff. read more

Probably one of the nicer locations I've been to. Very clean, organized, and the staff are nice. Parking is a little tight, but mainly because there's construction going on across the parking lot. They have a lot of selections of various things, from home items to food to basics. I usually come here for their seasonal and gift wrapping items. Return policy.. exchanges only, no refunds. They prefer having your receipt for the exchange. They've always exchanged mine but they keep reminding me to make sure I have a receipt for next time. Lines tend to be long when it's busy, but most dollar trees are like that anyway. read more

What a joy it was to walk into this store. I had just fled the San Pablo store (horrible place) and this was a delight to behold. It was clean, quiet, the customers were orderly (spaced apart and wearing their COVID masks properly) and the shelves were tidily stocked. Sections are labeled so you can easily find the item you're looking for. Parking was easy, too (on a Friday afternoon). I did not stay long or buy anything, so I can't comment on the check-out process, but everything seemed calm and everyone in line seemed pretty chill. I will definitely be returning to this location. read more

I've been here plenty of times. The store offers more than the Pinole one and I'm usually able to find what I need. The last time I went in I couldn't find a product. I asked the cashier about it and she informed me they have it in stock but it is not put out on the shelves and to come back in a day or two. So instead of making multiple trips I called the next day. I was informed that it wasn't put out yet but it will be later today. So I opted to wait another day. I called again to make sure it was there, but the person who picked up was so rude! She kept saying she couldn't hear me and instead of asking me to spell the item, or telling me to call back she hung up the phone on me! Mind you she only couldn't hear what product I was saying but heard everything else just fine. Rude and unprofessional! Her name is Ameila by the way. Went here Wednesday (3/27/19) after learning the Dollar Tree at Del Norte Plaza was closing. This store is sort of across San Pablo Dam Road from Thrift Town in the building where Goodwill was. It is a nice store, clean and well stocked. It was my first visit so I had to go up one aisle and down the next because this was a 'new to me' store and I didn't know where anything was. There were a few things I did not see that were on my list; White Out, Kleenex ( well a generic form of 'facial tissue'), and my favorite note pads. The cashier, Sheeren (sp? apologies if I'm wrong), was friendly and accommodating when I needed a separate receipt for some items I was buying for a neighbor. Went to one of my favorite Goodwills for vintage slips and found a brand new Dollar Tree instead. Not as large as El Cerrito, but much bigger than downtown Berkeley. Brand-new clean, spacious, and well -stocked, particularly paper goods. Good-sized parking lot and not too crowded. read more

I love Dollar tree to being with, amazing finds all the time. Today I walked in for some holiday decorations and walked out with everything I needed, but also a smile on my face. I witnessed an employee offer to buy food for a person in need. To deter this person from stealing and potentially end up getting into trouble. It's the kind of humanity that's needed in these times.
