I'm giving it a two stars because WalMart has cheap prices with other stores. First I don't care how ghetto you can get as long as it's not offending anybody. I went there to pick up my photos that I'd developed since they don't have an hour photo. I'd waited a while in the counter because I know they're busy and I'm willing to wait for my turn because I know how it feels. But when I got my pictures this man (I don't know if he's a assistant mgr) walked passed me and saying "I DON'T WANT NO TROUBLE" So I look at him and wondering who is he talking to 3 times he says that. And then finally I stopped and he went to the MP3's and still saying those words I wanted to asked him" Are you talking to me? ". I mean you can't even have a good phrase, double negative. Bad experience with the "store to store" shipping from Walmart.com to this store. Ordered a nice TV at a great price online, got free "store to store" shipping. Went to pick it up when it arrived the following week at this place.... waited for a good 25 min to get waited on at the service desk. After having a cashier call someone to help me and then asking worker from the electronics department to get someone, I finally walked into the big shipping warehouse area near the service desk and asked some mexican dude to get someone, the manager came out and brought my TV to me by sliding it across the floor of the walmart. Nice job. The store itself was nothing like the Walmarts that I am used to. This one's pretty shady. But I'm sure the prices are the same. They have groceries but no produce. read more

I've been in the area for well over 4yrs and I'm sorry to say Hilltop Walmart just isn't the same. The lines are always long, poor customer service, the escalator has been broken since the holidays and it takes forever to get help from anyone. This was a 4 star experience for me on a Saturday morning at 9am just as the parking lot was getting about 1/3 full. It was clean, the staff was fresh and friendly, I managed to return some stuff at customer service within 10 minutes. Granted I was only in the downstairs customer service, food and cleaning supplies areas I was generally impressed by the selection of my usual brand name stuff at great prices. Even the Walmart brand big package of peppered beef jerky was better than expected. Perhaps its best to hit this store early in the morning before the staff is worn out by the masses. Ahh Wal-Mart. It's like Target's poorly-marketed cousin. I had been looking for a full slip forever. I had bought a dress that I found was less-than-opaque. Since I am not a scandalous person, I figured a full slip would be needed. I wanted one without all the frou frou since that would be seen under the dress. I searched all my usual places and found nothing. I guess full slips are only for people who are poor or cheap. So, I decided to try my luck at Wal-Mart and found somewhat of an assortment in the lingerie department. It was less than $11, but more importantly, it was not full of lacy crap. The line was quick; the staff was not helpful, but it was an efficient experience. My partner likes the cheap tee shirts with the cheesy slogans. I would not walk around this store just to look around like I would in Target. It just does not have the displays for in-store marketing. It is best for just getting in an out with something cheap. Also, there are too many annoying people and not enough service to allow for a thorough shopping trip. Oh! And it's the only place I nkow to get these super-perfect Neutrogena oil-free face wash cloths. Every place else stopped carrying them, and I SO rely on them. Came here last night to check out some makeup products that was new and could not find it in the store! That is really shocking because the new makeup line was only sold at Walmart and I wanted to try it out...bummer. Decided to pick up a few other things while I was here and the line is outrageously long. I've been to other Walmarts and the lines are never this long. There was only 2 cashiers. I have always bee a Walmart fan until now. I have given the store 3 chances.. but it has continued to set a new low. The employees are rude and unkempt. They have little or no training. The management was selected on the basis of being politically correct choices rather than chosen by ability. A The cashiers are the only saving grace and very few speak any but broken english and have trouble understanding basic speech. The shelves are pooirly stocked. If it is on sale.. they will not have it, It is a truly ghetto store. I had a complaint.. I called the main office and was promised a call from the store manager, not once but twice. If I could give less than one star I would. They carry Fresh Pet dog food, needs refrigerated. First I could never find it in stock, then I complained 4 times and finally they stock it. today I went and bought it and found a bog full of dog food. I went back to the store and found and open can of soda and opened can of cat food the the fresh pet cooler. Gross and unsanitary. They did nothing. read more

I came here to buy some bbq supplies. Decided to buy some mesquite. When I checked out, the price didn't match the tag that was displayed. I asked the cashier if they could do something. She called a manager who then called another. This manager Chris appears. He's an obese male with a rotten tooth, very messy looking. On top of his sloppy appearance, he was was rude and extremely abrasive in his responses. When I asked what his manager's name was, he couldn't tell me, he said they're new. They? Good for Hilltop Mall to have a Walmart to fill the vacancy where Macy's was years ago, regardless of other negative reviews which may be more towards the location, which is not the fault of the store or the mall. I like how they're open until 12 unlike Target which is only open until 10 . I'm not a big fan of Walmart but I do like how the store is really big and fun to browse through . I noticed that their soda and body washes are cheaper than other supermarkets and drugstores . I bought a really cute and warm pair of sleeping pants from here a few days ago for only $10 ... how cheap ! I had to buy from the kids section but I still really liked it . This place is horrible. The customer service is not that at all, they do not know what they are doing. I was picking up a item that I ordered on-line. It actually took 45 minutes for someone to come to the customer service pick up area. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes for them to figure out where the item was located. 1 hour to pick up an item is behind ridiculous, I would never go back to this place again and I warn anybody that is thinking about going here, just go some where else the time you spend in here is not worth it. read more
