I just recently had a bad experience at Walmart. I waited for over 30 minutes in the pet section pressing the button to get something that was locked up and a worker never came. I waited so long that I was able to call the store and speak to a manager to inform them I was in the store waiting for a worker at the locked up pet supplies. I had to give 5 stars for this review though because it's the little things that matter. So I have been calling everyday to check if any of the scarlet red laptops are in stock but today I spoke to Fernando in electronics at the Redlands Walmart. He placed me on hold to go check, he then offered to scan the item to see when they expect to get a shipment in. I have been calling for about 3 weeks now and no one has gone that far to help me, I'm just told no they don't have any in stock and to call everyday. I myself work in customer service so I know things can get busy, so thank you so much Fernando for going above and beyond for me today! That was highly appreciated. read more

ZERO STARS. Needed to exchange a broken piece of merchandise. They refused because the item "looked old." It leaked all over my laundry room and is quite the mess to clean up. When I asked if their signage regarding customer satisfaction was incorrect (90 days to return with or without a receipt) I was told about certain policies said they didn't have to. I asked for a copy of these policies (which are supposedly found at customer service), I was told to check online and then the CSM Angie walked away. Had a good experience in the optometry department. However, today, I was on hold for about 30 min total - called to ask a simple question - whether they carried a scientific calculator. Purchased a mattress pad last night. When I got home it was cut in half. Took it back today. The manager, Gabby, was incredibly rude and basically told me I was lying and walked away from the desk. I had another manager, Donald, called and 20 minutes later he came to the front desk and refunded my money. A total of 30 min. Very poor customer service. The Walmart in Redlands is the worst one I have ever been in. Walmart is my favorite place to shop, however I will never make the mistake of going into the Redlands store again. We witnessed a woman picking cigs off the floor and light one up. There was a dirty poop diaper in the middle of the chip isle. Called here to get a price quote for a car battery...and I was on the phone with the guy for 16 minutes. It might not sound long but when the ONLY thing your asking for is a price quote...it's a pretty long time. I was able to google prices at multiple competitors, while I was waiting for him to look up one price. If this is a reflection of what installing a simple battery would be like, I may never see my car again. Like most people right now, its easier for me to have things delivered than to go shopping, especially with 3 little ones and a full time job. I've used the grocery delivery service a few times. I have never gotten more than half of what I order because they are out of stock. It seems to me they should adjust their orders to accommodate the demand. The last time I placed an order, I never received it! I got notifications, texts and emails stating my order had been delivered but that was not the case. I waited a little while just in case the driver was at the wrong house or something but it never came. The rep I spoke with was quick to refund me for the order but told me he was unable to refund the delivery fee...no. I did end up getting all of my money back but J had to fight for it. read more

PLEASE DO NOT HAVE YOUR OIL CHANGED AT THIS FACILITY. I drive my car to work Monday to Friday, it's roughly a 24 mile trip everyday. Because it such a short distance to and from work i always use the due date to change my oil rather than the mileage. My reminder sticker show that I am not due for an oil change for another two weeks. About a week ago i was driving hime from work and guess what? I blew my motor!! Fortunately, it happened close enough to my residence, so I was able to drive my car home. When i got home, i popped the hood and checked my oil level. IT WAS BONE DRY!! I mean dry, like it was a new motor before the motor oil was poured inside it. DRY!!! Long story short, took my car to the mechanic and $1800 later, she is in the shop for an engine rebuild. Looking back, it perhaps was partially my fault because i didn't check my oil level monthly like how I always do. But if they actually do their job this incidence shouldn't happen right? read more

The customer service here is AWEFUL!!! I needed to buy formula for my baby. Since it's behind a glass with a lock, I needed to ask someone to open it. Each worker I asked referred me to another worker. I asked 10 workers. The last one said they were coming with the key.... I waited 15 minutes and they never came! Not good! I never like going to this walmart. They always mess up my online pick up orders. 2 months ago I waited for over an HOUR because the clerk didn't know how to use the computer. Earlier tonight I went to pick up a shelving unit that my wife ordered online. In our email it stated that one shelf was there but the other was processing. The clerk in the online pick up area named Alexia/Alexis said that one shelf was there but was in the trailer. She went to the back with another associate and I waited for almost a half an hour. All the while the line behind me grew to about 10 people. They close the pick up area at 8 pm so they were rushing to push people out. When they finally arrived with the shelf I asked if the other shelf was in store. I told them if so I would like to get that one so I didn't have to make 2 trips to wal mart. The associates told me that I would have to look on the floor myself. No offer to have a walmart employee look. I told them not to worry about it. I then asked if we would be notified via email when the second shelf arrived. Alexia told me that I can call online to get info and that we would be notifed. They also kept saying that the shelf expired when we ordered it only a few days ago and the email said it was processing. They didn't give me a receipt when I asked but rather told me we would receive an email. So after all of this I get home and we check the order online it says the order is closed out and that I picked up 2 shelves when I only picked up 1! Too much confusion, a clear lack of training for newer assoiciates. Also rushing one customer out to serve another will never create a solid reputation with the folks who spend their hard earned money at your store. Lastly, To the management If you have any decency as a store or corporation you will disallow folks to hold impeach trump signs right in front of your doors. Like him or not he is the president. The employees at this Walmart I encountered were very unprofessional. I walked into the electronics department, wanting to buy some earbuds. The employee, Bella who works there unlocked them for me and grabbed the pair I had requested, asking me if I was ready to check out. I informed her that I wasn't ready yet. There was a woman next to me who requested an item as well. Bella went ahead and grabbed the item for the woman as well, asking her if she was ready to check out yet as well. The woman replied yes. So Bella took the two items to the cash register and me and the other woman followed her. Instead of putting my item into the anti-theft box, which would have taken Bella a few seconds, she went ahead and rung up the other woman's items instead, which took her 5 minutes. It was after that, that Bella finally took my earbuds and put them into the box. Next, I proceeded to the cash register to have my items checked out by the employee, Linda. Upon getting ready to leave the store, I noticed that Linda had double scanned the earbuds that I had bought. So I returned to the cash register and waited and additional 5 minutes for Linda to fix her mistake. Nice job employees of Walmart!
