Found what I needed, however I had to press the assistance button several times and then flag someone down to open the case. That person grabbed a damaged box and handed it to me. I asked for one that was not so beaten up. Rolling eyes and sigh later I was handed a different box and told "there's nothing wrong with the first one". I explained it was not for me and the person I was buying it for would not appreciate a damaged box. I stated I was not trying to be difficult when she asked " does this meet your standards?". Parking is terrible. The first 30 or so spaces closest to the store are for "pickup" for online shoppers which means people shopping in person are on their own and park a lot further away. Disgusting filthy store. It is obvious that they have no manager or if they do he is working from home, really, even one of the Walmart employees commented on how unclean and cluttered the store is. I visited my local Walmart today... A store that is often sort of... So-so. These are huge stores with great prices, drawing in all sorts of interesting characters as shoppers! I honestly don't expect a fancy froufrou experience. Today I was happily surprised by super service and great attitudes at every turn. Every employee seem to be in a good mood, trying to be helpful. So today I went in for a oil change and after being there for 30 minutes a technician came in and asked where I got my last oil change ? My response here at this same Walmart I said why he said because I'm having a hard time taking off the part to change the oil , and saying O I thought maybe someone took your car somewhere else . I said no each time I get an oil change it's at this same location and never had a problem . After another 20 minutes another technician came out and said were not going to be able to perform the oil change due to it being so tight that we're afraid it might break and you be leaving in a tow truck . Then blaming me for them not being able to loosen the part . And advising I take it where they have the part just in case it broke . replaced a car battery less than a year ago. battery wil not now hold a charge and after a jump and while charging from the alternator the battery emits an oily discharge that smells like rotten eggs. holds charge for ten or fifteen minutes then nothing...walmart equipment says the battery is good and will not honor the warranty. don't buy a battery from walmart read more

I shop here relatively often and it seems like there is never an employee to be found when you need something. I can't tell you how many times I've wandered around in various sections looking for somebody to help me with things. When I do find somebody, they tell me they will send somebody and then I wait forever and nobody comes. Seems like the cosmetics are ALWAYS unstocked until recently when they put everything behind lock and key. I understand this department has a LOT of theft, but I waited almost half an hour after pressing the button for assistance and then wandered nearby to see if I could find ANYBODY to help me in order to purchase my item. I heard Walmart has lost millions in the cosmetics department due to theft and damage of product, but if they keep this up they're going to lose the same amount due to nobody being able to buy it! read more

Let's get something straight right at the beginning. I really do not like Wal-marts. It feels like they don't try because they are usually the only game in town. Always crowded, no parking, and I think the place irritates people because everyone shopping there looks like they are in a sour mood. I prefer Target (better lighting, the employees seem to be happier, looks clean) but no matter where I am living, Wal-mart always seem to be closer to me. I mean a lot closer, where a Target would be going out of my way. I try to avoid Wal-mart whenever I can, but really what other options do you have? I mean you have specialized options... When I want a TV I go to Best Buy. If I want games or gaming systems I will go to GameStop, or Best Buy. When I want groceries I am going Vons, Stater Bros., any other place then here. But sometimes you still see yourself coming back to Wal-mart, and you hate yourself for it. Kind of like that girlfriend you broke up with and you have other chicks you hang out with, each that does something you like... but your ex, she isn't great at anything but can do everything. I guess that is Wal-mart. I hate this Walmart. Everything is self checkout. Maybe one actual person working at a register. Last time I was there, literally all the cosmetics were locked up. Then I had to wait an agonizingly long time for an employee to get a mascara out for me. In a pinch I got an oil change here. When I got my vehicle back my check engine light was on. I should have complained to the store right then......but I had to get to my next appointment. Once I got back to my garage I check the code and it said the distributor system was not working and possible back Knock Sensor. Looked at the Knock Sensor.....which is within 5 inches of the oil filter.......the wire was ripped out of the bolt. I was able to solder it back on and all is good now. However, not everyone has mechanical skills and it could have cost quite a bit for a garage to look at it. I learned my lesson......I'll be doing my oil changes myself as I always do. read more

I recently got an oil change after 1hr 30min. The young kid Austin without a uniform wearing street clothes pulled my car out of the garage as normal, and then sped quickly into a stall stepping on the brakes hard to stop. As I paid my bill I went to drive off, I noticed he didn't turn my maintenance light off. I pulled back up to the garage to let him know, well there we have it. It'll be a few minutes. Bad experience and not going to any Walmart at all. I purchase a $80.00 CHI Iron Saturday 8/4/18, opened it Sunday Night and to my surprise it was a Con-Air steamer. I tried returning it but they thought I had tampered with it and didn't believe me. They said it had " a spider" wired around the box so one had possible tampered with. If I wanted to buy a steamer, I would have. Could not returned it, could not exchange it and won't ever again buy something at Walmart. The employees at this Walmart I encountered were very unprofessional. I walked into the electronics department, wanting to buy some earbuds. The employee, Bella who works there unlocked them for me and grabbed the pair I had requested, asking me if I was ready to check out. I informed her that I wasn't ready yet. There was a woman next to me who requested an item as well. Bella went ahead and grabbed the item for the woman as well, asking her if she was ready to check out yet as well. The woman replied yes. So Bella took the two items to the cash register and me and the other woman followed her. Instead of putting my item into the anti-theft box, which would have taken Bella a few seconds, she went ahead and rung up the other woman's items instead, which took her 5 minutes. It was after that, that Bella finally took my earbuds and put them into the box. Next, I proceeded to the cash register to have my items checked out by the employee, Linda. Upon getting ready to leave the store, I noticed that Linda had double scanned the earbuds that I had bought. So I returned to the cash register and waited and additional 5 minutes for Linda to fix her mistake. Nice job employees of Walmart! This Walmart has THE most difficult parking situation I have ever experienced. There are probably 50 handicapped spots and I've never seen even half of them filled at one time. They also rely almost completely on self checkout which I am totally against and I normally have to wait at least 5 minutes in line because they only have one or at most 2 actual registers open at a time. This Walmart is completely under staffed. We came in today to get fishing licenses and we waited in the outdoor/fishing area for about 10 minutes for someone to come. I then walked up to the front and asked if we could get someone paged to go back there and after another 15 minutes no one came. We asked the tire services ladies twice and one said "I can't do it, she has to" but no one came. My dad tried to call the store to speak to a manager and he kept getting transferred to different departments so he hung up. We decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. I went in looking for shoes, and the first thing I noticed was how small their shoe department was, all squished into a little corner. However, I found exactly what I was looking for (brown flats), which I hadn't been able to find at Kmart or Payless! I had found some at Target, but they hurt my heel. Employees are extremely rude and never want to help. I had to return a child's bike that I did not realize had a flat tire when I purchased. The only person to help with the bikes was the man in the auto zone who could not leave his post. The only other bike in the size I needed also had a flat tire. I always had walmart on the top of my list but after the experience i went thru today and far most treated the way i was treated by a assistant manager "Christian " i will stay as far away from that store as possible.. Maybe before making someone an assistant manager they should get trained on good customer service skills and how to talk to customers and reminding them that they should never assume something and be so stern about it because they could be wrong about it and as managment you should be better then that..
