People are extremely nice! I can get my prescriptions whenever I need them and now I understand they are open until 9:00.

Just to hear the name Walgreens turns my stomach. We moved away 7 years ago and just came back and…read morethey are even worse if that is possible. They are horrible. So I get the ok to get my meds on phone from them and it says it on web site ready. then it started. They kept lying to me continuously, so I was supposed to get meds today and they wouldn't give to me. They said to soon and it is only 1day early. so in the morning I won't have my meds. For every excuse she tried to sell me I had proof she was lying. I asked for manager and she's like that's me. Go figure, right. So now end of the day, my insurance calls and says I can go get them. So I call greens and oh no that's not the reason I can't give you and then she said by state law she couldn't, wrong again I cked and then she says dr put hold on it, another lie because i talked to them earlier. So I asked her how is the reason for me to get the meds keep changing. Now i go for it the following day and now it's not filled which it was. So I had to do more waiting. Something really needs to be done about that pharmacist they need to clean house and start new. It's a nightmare. And all I got was hung up on. I'm fit to be tied. God forbid you really need your meds, they don't care. STAY AWAY! If you're looking Alitons. There great.

This is a neurological medication that you can't lapse on. TODAY is the 22 and I still haven't received word on my script. I call. Speak to someone . They confirm my script they say let me get the pharmacist . On hold for over and hour. I end up driving there from the city and they are playing dumb like they aren't aware of my script and not understanding what happened. What's happening is incompetence and dangerous. So your job correctly and efficiently. This is ridiculous.

The other one star reviews speak for themselves…read more For context, there used to be a locally-run pharmacy down the road for like 30 years, which closed last month. So now, Walgreens is the only game in town. The pharmacy part has been closed all week. Apparently one of the pharmacists just quit and they were understaffed. We were told they'd be reopening on Friday, but when I called I was informed that the only remaining pharmacist had a family emergency, so they would not in fact be open. Fine. It happens. Not mad at the pharmacy staff, they're people too and things happen. However, I think it's a little ridiculous that a large corporate chain with the resources of Walgreens has no better solution in this circumstance than to drive 30 miles to the next closest location. I would think they would pull staff from a different location temporarily, or offer a courier service. Nope. Just sending folks to the next town over. Which, considering the current gas prices, is not ideal. I don't know about the regulations, but there just kind of seemed to be a lack of concern and not a lot done on the part of management to bridge the problem in the interim. The community this location services has a high amount of older folks with limited means. The person I was picking up the prescription for is wheel-chair bound and doesn't have her own transportation. If I hadn't been visiting from out of town and able to make the drive to Milford, she would have run out of her medicine, which could have caused severe side effects. Have to give a shout-out to the pharmacy tech I spoke to on Friday, she was super sweet and gracious and understanding. Have no qualms with the staff who man (or try to man) this location so far, but the higher operations seem to really have dropped the ball. Considering that there's no alternative and you can't simply drive five minutes and go to a different pharmacy, I absolutely hold them to a higher standard. How do you just not operate for most of a week when you have a whole community depending on you? How do you assume that every one of your customers will be able to make a half hour drive for meds, and not offer any accomodation or alternative for those who can't? Not feeling great about the fact that my family has to rely on this location given the circumstances. Really hope they improve.
