They are the worse pharmacy in the area ! The people who work there don't care "if they show up for work" I've seen them closed because of no employees! To be honest I believe it's Walgreens fault and the employees. I'm sure the employees aren't treated very well. It's not too complicated. They simply don't care the least bit about you or your need to get a an important medication. There is zero urgency along with a total lack of empathy. Its just business and they're not very good at that either. They'll tell you they're getting your meds together and then you'll find out that they don't even have it in stock, leaving you zero time to get it elsewhere. The little work they do is done by a computer that sends inaccurate texts. They'll tell you to come back in twenty minutes in lieu of literally walking ten steps and grabbing your eye meds or whatever may need. If you have a regular monthly medication, I suppose they are okay to use but should your doctor call in something important when time is of the essence, please dont rely on them to to put in the very least amount of effort. The other Walgreens aren't too good but this one is so bad, you might think you're on a hidden camera prank show. If anyone opened up a pharmacy nearby, they would be out of business immediately. Congratulations walgreens of milford pennsylvania. I don't care to and Its very rare for me to leave a review, but you've earned this one. But don't worry. After you read this review, you can go back to your lackadaisical at best, job and get paid and nothing is going to change. I went here to make photos for my son to take to summer camp. The person at the front was not that helpful. In any event, it was taking so long that we finally had to leave. The prices are a bit high and not a lot of choices-we also had to buy some candy for my son to take with him. Not such a great place. read more

I came here under not the best circumstances, because my family's typical Walgreens (and the only pharmacy near where they lived) closed for a week due to staffing issues, and the solution was to drive half an hour here for meds. That being said, the staff was great. They were patient and friendly on the phone when I had questions, even though they were getting like a million calls because of the circumstances. The prescriptions were ready when promised (actually, an hour earlier.) The staff was warm and fast, and I heard them speaking sympathetically to other customers as well. The retail staff was great too-- a floor associate asked me if I needed help as I was wandering with a dumb look on my face, and my cashier was so sweet. The store was clean and well taken care of. I've been to multiple Walgreens in my life and have overall had positive times, and this was mores of the experience I expect from the chain. Good job! Hopefully the Lords Valley store will be more like this next time I visit. read more

Picked up my high blood pressure medicine from Walgreens Hartford St Milford PA. Got home to fine someone's heart medication in the bag. So I immediately called and spoke to the pharmacy tech, I explained the situation and asked to speak to the pharmacist well 58 mins on hold and no one picked up the phone. I also called from my husband's phone and the pharmacy tech pickup right away I then explained that I was on hold for a long time waiting to pharmacist and again I was put on hold. I am very disappointed in Walgreens in Milford. I am trying to be patient with h the fact that it's flu season but they e not properly staffed. We had gone there 5 times trying to get a flu shot. They kept telling me it was coming 'tomorrow'. I tried calling several times and was on hold for 45 minutes each time. Something really needs to be done with this Walgreens. I was a customer when it was Rite Aid and it is very disappointing. I tried to give them time to make the transition by it keeps getting worse. The last time I was in there I only recognized one employee. I don't want to stop shopping there or pulling my prescriptions but I'm getting very disheartened. read more

Worst pharmacy in America. You can call three days before to make sure you medicine is ready to be picked up and they will tell you it's ready. When you get there you will wait in line for 35-45 mins to find out your medicine wasn't filled and than wait another 45-50 mins. You are better off going somewhere far away than trying to go here it's really horrible. read more

In agreement with the other reviews. The majority of the staff is rude. Some borderline discriminating . I understand they are busy but when dealing with patients being nice goes a long way. It feels your presence annoys them.Terrible. Even if the mistake is theirs (ie . entering wrong insurrance info in their computer or not entering it all all ..lol ), they make you feel it's your fault . There always seems to be an issue when picking up meds. You conveniently get a recorded message that your meds are ready , but you get there and half the time they can't find it or something is missing. I still get recorded messages weekly even though I no longer have anything to pick up from there. Don't bother trying to contact the pharmacy by phone . No one ever picks up the phone. No pharmacy should operate that way .Serious attitude issues there . Not all Walgreens are like that , its that particular location.! I dread going there and come out of there mad most times. Not many options locally but will definitely change pharmacy. read more

We've had good experiences at this Walgreens. We've had new prescriptions, prescriptions transferred in/out and & vaccinations (non-Covid). The service has been excellent. The changeover from RiteAid left shelves low of product but that's not the fault of our local pharmacy. read more

Recently my friend and I went to Wallgreen located on the address: 100 W Harford St, Milford, PA 18337 and we faced rude service and discrimination from cashier #305 and store manager. When we got everything we needed (beside other purchases we took 4 masks and 6 sanitizers for 2 families of 8 people in total), we came to register and cashier told us that there is a limit for buying masks and sanitizers for each customer "1 item for 1 person". Since there were 2 of us we said: "No Problem! We will buy 1 pack of masks and 1 sanitizer for each one of us". She told us that 1 pack of masks and 1 sanitizes is enough for both of us (!!!), and even though she knew that we were making purchases for 2 families. Also, the Cashier said that we have to bring the rest of the other masks and sanitizers back to the shelfs and put them there. We were confused. Why do we need to do that? We are not working at the store, we are only customers. Also we pointed that there was NO SIGN about this item's limitation, but we agreed to follow the rules. Meanwhile some other products (toilet paper, etc) had signs "1 item for 1 person". We followed those rules too. The Cashier got upset that we refused to bring the items back to the shelf which we could not buy. She offended us for being irresponsible and selfish, for not thinking about other people and that we are the reason of COVID spread. Which is completely wrong and not true. We just did not know that this store has limitations for masks and sanitizers, because store management did not put any sign for these items for the customer convenience. Meanwhile she was continuing to blame us for nothing and we asked her to be nice and not to talk to us in this manner. She refused to do so and kept talking to us in the same not polite way. We asked to speak with the manager. And the situation got even uglier. Instead of trying to resolve the issue and just simply apologize, the manager made the situation worse:he did not appologige for rude behavior, he refuses to put the sign "1 item for 1 person" for the customers convenience, he refuses to explain why he is not going to put a sign for these items if this store rules really exist. After all of this we assumed that there were no actual rules for these specific items or they just refused to sell items for us because of some kind of descrimination from their side. When we say that it looks like a desrimination manager said that we have to leave the store. We were not rude, did not offend, did not insult them. Manager left us without saying any words. We started to pack our bags and we were ready to leave when we were called by Police Officer who arrived after the management call. The Police Officer was really nice and he was the only one who was actually understanding us. He expressed his regret to the situation in which we occured. Meeting with the Police Officer was the most pleasant experience from this store. Finally for 2 purchases (for 2 families) the cashier gave us only 1 pack of masks and 1 sanitizer. This was completely unfair and looked like descrimination. Even Though we were paying separately with separate receipts. Unfortunately Walgreen chooses to be rude to the customers and calls the Police on them, when customers do not accept their rudeness. Finally my friend and I: - did not get any apologies from the cashier or store management - did not get permissible amount masks and sanitizers; We hope that the main Walgreen office will apologize for unacceptable behaviours of their workers and management, and will teach all staff how to behave politely to the customers. I wish that i could give this place ZERO stars, but Yelp would rather treat reviews on local businesses like fifth graders being handed participation trophies. I have been using this pharmacy for most of the two and a half years that I've lived in Milford and I have NEVER had a good experience here. I actually stopped using this Walgreens for a while simply because of how awful this place is, but I got tired of driving down to Newton NJ once a month when it was out of the way of where I used to work. Every time I go in after getting a notification that a prescription is filled, I wait 30+ minutes just for them to come to the window and tell me that it isn't filled and that i have to wait for it. Today was the absolute last straw with this AWFUL pharmacy considering that they didn't even bother to fill it and actually told me that at the window! My prescription was sent in yesterday and they decided that they wouldn't fill it because they thought I wouldn't be able to afford it without insurance and then told me that is the sole reason they didn't fill it. Who are they to decide that? I know that I lost my state insurance (I called them and cancelled it) because I found a new job, but I'm not eligible for my employer's insurance for another 60 days. I was well aware of this, and that is why I have GoodRx coupons to get me through the next 60 days. How do they not know that i NEED this medication; considering how violently ill I would be without it? If they knew anything about the medications they were selling, they would have known that my medication was an absolute necessity. The girl who helped me was really nice, and it's not her fault that her manager or supervisor told her not to fill it, so i don't want to take it out on her, but the service in the pharmacy department is absolutely abysmal. There were 4 people back there and they were all just standing around eating chips and talking to each other except for the girl who was helping me at the window, and all of the other customers, at the pharmacy counter. I will be sending any and all of my prescriptions to the CVS in Oak Ridge, NJ (an hour away, but WAY cheaper for my main prescription with GoodRx) that is right down the street from where I work; because Milford Walgreens is, was and always will be the shi**iest pharmacy in America, no matter how many people their revolving door swoops in and out of there every couple of months. Something tells me that the rot in this place starts at the top and trickles down because their lazy, ignorant manager likes to decide who can and can't afford a prescription because they want to judge people based on the ailment their medication is for. The manager of the pharmacy department should probably worry about their own health, instead of judging people based on the fact that they take suboxone, considering their profession is a major part of what caused the opioid crisis in the first place. This pharmacy is a joke and the nice girl who helped me should get the hell out of there so it doesn't end up being a stain on her resume. Whoever told them not to fill a life saving medication, solely based on how expensive it was, should be fired and have their pharmacy license revoked because they do not belong in this industry. Just because someone takes buprenorphine, does not mean they're some unemployed dolt that can't take care of themselves; making judgements about what you can and can't afford based on what medication you are taking is not only a disservice to their customers, but is a corrupt and immoral violation of their very own purpose for existence; the public health of the community they live in. The head of this department should be ashamed of themselves and I hope someone beyond the store level actually sees my review. You'll probably know who I am, but I am actually glad about that; most people don't care about bad reviews when they can't associate them with an actual human being. I will be telling everyone I know in the area to use a different pharmacy, but considering the plethora of one star reviews this place has on, literally, ALL review platforms, they have probably already steered clear! read more
