Love the products. Prices are/is reasonable, clean store, friendly staff. Nic place to shop.

The only time I go here is if ShopRite is too busy and I just wanna grab something quick to get in and out. Definitely lower quality prices are not as good and it appears to be generally less clean but good for convenience. read more

At 7:48 PM on a Saturday the parking lot was nearly empty and all of the internal departments (deli, bakery, etc) were already closed. I guess they close at 8PM? I did a little comparison and drove over to ShopRite where the parking lot was quite active and all of the departments inside were still open. Still, Weis seemed totally fine and had everything I needed. I bought some day-old pastries from the bakery aisle that rang up at the wrong price at the self checkout (a pet peeve of mine). Went into Weis today to pick up a few things. I have two qualms about my shopping experience today: 1) Weis Markets should really double check their signs to make sure that the specifics of a sale item are clear to the customer. If the sale price requires us to buy two of an item, the sign by the item needs to clearly express that. Today is not the first day I have seen it either. It seems to be a constant occurrence. 2) You need to pay your employees better or send them to sensitivity classes. I asked a simple question (concerning the above signage problem) and the girl behind the counter at customer service responded with such attitude I literally just walked out in disgust. I usually enjoy shopping at Weis, but lately it's been as if neither the management nor the employees care anymore. read more

This is one of my favorite Weiss stores. Everyone is friendly and I find what I need. The lines aren't long. I just wish the hours were correct. They don't open until 7 am. Not 6 am. read more

It's a lot easier then going to the Shoprite but you know your not going to get a lot of bargains. I have gotten mistakes on my pricing but its to far to go back and complain, they also usually have only one check-out counter open because they want you to do your own checkout, but us older people don't want to do it. read more

I love this location. The staff was more than helpful in assisting me with the locations of my favorite items in this location. The store was very clean, well stocked and organized. The parking was very spacious and clean as well. I'm going to start making the trip here more often! read more

I really like the store - but not sure I will return for a while. I was shopping for about 10 minutes this morning and suddenly realized that I did not have a mask on! I quickly opened a pack of masks, put one on (paid for the pack when I left). Employees had seen me shopping - it was early - but no one challenged me. I listened to the public service announcement about staying safe and it did not include anything about masks. When I left, I checked all the entrances but every single sign about requiring masks are off the windows. I called and they said they are requiring people to wear masks unless they have a medical condition. They also said all of the signs must have been taken down when cleaning - I am still not sure - and with Covid rising I probably will not return unless I find that the store has moved back to assuring masks are worn, both by employees checking shoppers, signage and announcements. read more

Shoprite was closed so I went into Weis....man....gotta be the most depressing supermarket I've ever been in.

So dirty. Miserable staff. Lots of expired items being sold, especially the meat - chk dates!! Go elsewhere

Weis Markets in Newton did a "Weis Mystery Tour" for our local Cub Scout den. The tour of the supermarket was about an hour and a half and the kids learned a lot about eating healthy. The gal who ran the tour was very patient with the children and did a great job. It's refreshing to see a company go out of their way to educate children. I also had tried to schedule a tour at Stop N Shop in Sparta and I was told to email corporate, which I did and they never responded. Weis Markets on the other hand was very helpful, a 5 star organization! read more
