My job changed it's prescription plan to Express Scrips which is, for those of You who are lucky enough not to know [or care], is an awful alternative to Our previous plan. They basically mail out the meds You need and maybe You get them and maybe You don't but either way they sure AF charge You for them. They do offer a pick up in person option at "some" CVS Stores and when I asked the Pharmacist here about it she just shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know. How does she not know? Do you participate or not? And if she doesn't know THIS what else Doesn't she know? I'm kinda looking for a Pharmacist who might actually know stuff, I'm funny that way.    Speaking of funny: have You ever bought a case of water from CVS and NONE of the bottles can stand up straight? It's like a bunch of drunken penguins, they just fall all over the place, lol.    Anyway 2 Stars because the Store is Huge and well stocked okay but I wouldn't wanna deal with this place on a regular basis. Love this Pharmacy. They have everything you could possibly need. I was amazed that they had poster board, tools,candles computer ink baby diapers, adult diapers, vitamins, and everything that a normal pharmacy has definitely use CVS read more

This location is absolutely HUGE with an incredible selection in ALL departments; especially in beauty! It's also open 24/7 with free pre-paid pick-up and drive-thru pharmacy. I'm also impressed with the staff and pharmacy. It's a win/win all around! read more

I just went to this CVS pharmacy to try it out after going to the CVS pharmacy in Florham park for years. What a breath of fresh air. This is what a CVS pharmacy should be like. The indian lady pharmacist with the headscarf at the CVS location in Florham Park has no business being in a customer facing position or even managing a dog, let alone people! My experience at this CVS was nothing short of phenomenal. A Christmas miracle, even. The pharmacist was Brittany M , this was the BEST pharmacy experience I have had in YEARS. I mean its CVS lol. Thankful for the location as its close to the office, the parking is great and the service was very good. I only came to print one picture (random but it was necessary) I could not find the photo section at all then I asked for help and so glad i did because if left to my own I would have never ventured into that corner of the store and assumed it was part of behind the register or for employees only. It was a bit cluttered and I was able to very easily print my pic and hopped online to pay. The cashier was very pleasant and efficient in checking me out, I know it was only one pic but the lady in front of me had a long situation unfolding so I was essentially rescued lol. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - WHIPPANY, New Jersey

I won't go there again. Associates are rude. I was purchasing a product on sale (diapers), stocking up on them. An associate stocking shelves rudely asked if I was having "sextuplets" because I was buying a bunch. I'm pregnant but I don't look like I'm having 6 babies- jeez! I go to the cashier to pay- and she asked 3 separate store associates if I was "allowed" to buy a bunch of them-- I told here there was no limit, there's no sign and still she had to confirm with anyone she could possibly call. She really didn't me to buy the diapers, I don't understand why? One associate told her- just ring them up for her, if it stops then there's a limit..just ring her up. Just when I think i'm done with the non-sense ...another associate came to the front and proceeded to tell me "babies grow fast" again to deter me from purchasing. All of that ..just because I was trying to buy a good deal on diapers...way to be insensitive and rude! Customer service training is needed at this location. read more

Spoke to me with an attitude after I asked a simple question about a flu shot. Extremely unprofessional, rude and disrespectful and needs to be replaced. read more

Just like other yelpers say, the pharmacy sucks! Came in hoping to pick up my prescription (I knew it might not be available which was fine) but there was something wrong so communication with my doctor needed to be made with this CVS. By the way, to anyone calling the pharmacy and waiting on the phone for like a longgg time? The workers do it on purpose, I was there and witnessed them ignore a phone call for over 10 minutes while I was there. Anyways...6 hours later... I called and was on hold for about 8 minutes until someone picked up and they tell me to hold on again. WOW! Waited an additional 10 minutes? Turns out my problem was solved but for some reason they did not bother to fill my prescription after all this time. (So much for 30 minutes). Another surprise, they don't even have the medicine there so I would have to wait maybe a day or lets just say forever. But magically, the person says they do have the medicine and I can get it in an hour. I don't think I am going to take my chances and come in an hour. I'll definitely call and wait again for maybe 10-20 minutes in total to make sure they have my medicine. Or maybe I should just try tomorrow, no point bothering my family to drive and get it for me. But seriously, some people really need their medicine right away! How do these employees work like this and not understand the urgent need for these medications? Lets just say... I'll probably pick up from somewhere else after this fiasco. read more

Rude and negligent pharmacy staff . Without checking properly they turn you back claiming you have no prescription. After you insist they re-search again, they find it but do not bother to apologize. Avoid and go somewhere else if you want to be treated respectfully, and a service you deserve. read more

I went there today to get a flu shot and a whooping cough shot to prepare for my child's birth, but the pharmacist said they are out of both. He said to come back in about 2 weeks or to go to an urgent care facility. How is it possible to be out of both vaccinations? It's not like there is a huge request for the whooping cough vaccination that they would run out. Also, why is there a huge sign outside this CVS and in front of the pharmacy dept that flu shots are available when they don't have any? This pharmacy dept needs an overhaul here. It may be a God send that I didn't get my the vaccination shots here anyway, they may have even given the wrong ones to me, for all I know. read more

I dropped a prescription and was told that it would be ready in an hour. I got there after an hour and was told that I would have to wait another 15-20 minutes. It should not take over an hour to get a prescription ready. I told them to cancel and I left. read more

I ordered 400 pictures to be printed out online and they turned out horrible! Half of them have rainbow lines going through them. They called me and told me that the machine broke halfway through printing them and a tech was on his way to fix it. You would think they would skim through the pictures to make sure they were ok. Basically i have 200 wasted pictures...and they weren't cheap! read more

I do not have any prescriptions there and I stopped going there years ago and they called me today to tell me that they can give me a 90 day supply of any medication I bring there. I guess to try to get me back in. It would be illegal to give anyone a 90 day supply of the controlled substance. Ridiculous. Every pharmacist should know that a controlled substance is given in 30 day increments. Regardless of a promotion. Dumb read more

The service at the pharmacy is terrible. We dropped off a prescription at around 7pm. When we were told it would be about an hour, we decided to go get something for dinner and head to a local store for a couple hours. When we came back after 9pm, the prescription was not ready. It took another half hour or so before we were able to leave. Had we known it was going to take three hours to fill on a weeknight, we would have gone elsewhere. We'll find another place to get our prescriptions filled next time. read more

insofar as the pharmacy is concerned, go elsewhere. The staff is rude, ignorant, know nothing about the meds they peddle, can't spell, does not understand how insurance, manufacturer coupons, refills etc., work. Not a clue. To make it a really pleasant experience, they demand your personal information loudly, without care for your privacy. They have no scruple about humiliating a customer while there is a long line of customers behind you. (Probably hoping the same wouldn't be done to them!) I'm sure HIPAA would be pleased. Go anywhere else, drive 50 miles if you need to, but this place is not worth your time or frustration. read more

The staff who was in charge of photo was super nice. He took our passport photo and explain to us how to use the i-phoe-printing. It costed only 12.99 for two photo and 29 cents more to print two extra, comparing $16+$5 in Fedex. (The Walgreen near my home was trying to charge me $11.99 for EVERY two photo). In the end, the staff gave us a few more for free, sweet! It would cost us over $100 in Walgreen. read more

Avoid this CVS. Due to the type of injury I sustained after being hit by a car, I needed to get a specialty drug that was time sensitive. This CVS lost my prescription... So I have to go back to my Dr and get a new one. Then I'm heading to Walgreens read more

Prices of vitamins and hair products are outrageous!! Not to mention prescription medications!! After waiting 45 minutes for my prescription to be filled, my co-pay for a blood pressure medication, WITH insurance was $249.50 for a 90 day supply!! In addition, staff members are very rude, inattentive and careless of customers needs. I will encourage community members to shop elsewhere where prices are lower, as in Shop Rite pharmacy or Walgreens instead. AVOID shopping there, you need to be treated with respect and courtesy. It's a shame it's a nice looking cvs with a drive through , but has the worst phamacist on duty every time I've been there. And forget about the people working behind the registers. Rude! I actually was getting a knot in my stomache when I had to go there to fill a rx ( only place open) and with good reason it always turns into a nightmare. After waiting 45 min for my rx to be filled my name was called & I went to pay & they told me they didn't have it. Why couldn't they have told me 30 or 40min ago. I am amending the review I did before-this place continues to make medication errors, including shorting each medication filled, of pills, including pain medicine which was prescribed after a dental procedure. It is a very dangerous place to have your prescriptions filled! We have left here due to fear for safety of my family due to wrong meds and dosages given. NO ONE cares here and treats the customer that way. I have had to report them to the State and CVS executive offices. I had reported them to CVS Corporate after the last review and NO response. Let's see how this goes....We will now be using mail order to keep my family safe. read more

Pharmacy is super slow if there's a long line. I also am regularly judged and treated like a drug addict because of certain medications I am taking. Other than that, store is nice. They have a lot of stuff in stock, and the regular staff is super nice. Also, not all of the pharmacy staff treats me bad - just certain ones, but it's bad enough that I dread calling or going there when I need to refill my medications. The unfortunate part is it's so close to my house and convenient that it doesn't make any sense to go anywhere else. read more

The pharmacy is a joke here!! They say they are open for 24 hours but should not be!! The really suck!! Your RX will not be done on time, and if it is please please check to make sure it's the right medication/right amount and right dose because they continue to make medication errors. They do not care about their patients and are really rude; especially the interns that take your RX. They never change or check your insurance even after telling them multiple times. I will not be returning to this pharmacy and suggest that you don't waste your time either. read more
